Sorry — very nice people working here but the pizza is awful! Papa Johns outshines the pizza here and we are not fans of Papa Johns! Ok– the pizza crust is tasteless! It’s crispy and dry and tastes similar to a a pre– Packaged pizza dough. The sauce tastes like it is directly from a canned tomato paste which is a far cry from a hearty sauce with the right garlic, oregano and spices. The sauce — in my opinion makes the pizza complimented by the well made pizza dough which was lacking in this one! The cheese wasn’t as cheesy and soft! It was our first time trying the pizza here and it will be our last! We wanted so badly to support this place but have to say it like it is!

Stopped by here before we went back home and ordered a large pizza, my mother in law bit into the first piece and there was a large piece of plastic in her slice. Got a refund, won’t be coming back.

Decent pizza and service for a small mountain town. Food came out relatively quick(15min or so) despite it being busy. They are only open Wednesday thru Sunday 4p-7p so they can’t help but get a rush of people through their doors all at the same time you would like a pie. Service is seat yourself and come up to the counter to order and grab your beverages. There is one girl working the orders/counter and only 1 or 2 cooks.

We took it home this time, but my husband noticed that they have Angry Orchard on tap, which I am a big fan of, so we will be back. The pizza was good, although the crust wasn’t as soft as I like it. Overall, this place is really cute, and solid for a pizza place in the middle of the mountains.

Went to Pine Mountain Club with the family to check out a cabin my father is working on. Kids got hungry so we decided to check out the little town plaza where they have several businesses open. We found this pizza place and kids decided to they want to eat pizza for lunch. It’s a small pizza parlor/bar. Lady at the bar hands you the menu, you sit yourself at table, decide what your want to order and place your order at the bar. They can keep your tab open if you think you will order more or close it and pay as you order. We kept an open tab since our kids could not decide if they wanted to order a dessert. We ordered a medium pizza(half Pepperoni and half Big Kahuna). Our son is the one who wanted the pepperoni pizza… he’s 9 and wants his pizza simple. Our daughter wanted the Big Kahuna… it had bacon and pineapple. Both kiddos loved their pizza order! I was able to try them… not bad for a pizza parlor in a small town. The Big Kahuna was really good… it was filled with pineapple chunks! My daughter and I truly enjoyed that! We love our baked pineapple on our pizza! My husband ordered their BBQ Chicken Salad. I was able to try it too since it came in a huge bowl. That was a really good salad too!!! Not what we were expecting! Refreshing and very tasty! So after our meal the kids decided they want to try their Peach Pie for desert. We ordered it a la mode… vanilla ice cream scoop was yellow-ish. but it was a really good, creamy and smooth vanilla ice cream! The Peach Pie was awesome! Again, we were not expecting that from a small pizza parlor in a small town. Staff there said the lady at the bakeshop across the way makes it for them(bakeshop was closed so we didn’t get a chance to check it out and try her other goodies).

Delicious pizza with not your every day pizza taste. Fluffy crunch to the crust with amazing taste from the dough to the toppings

I’m giving them two stars just because of the cashiers and the cook. They are not getting 5 stars from me! My sister lives in pmc, and my family, from Valencia, and aunt and uncle from Simi Valley went there for lunch today. The female owner is so incredibly rude! If it where not for my uncle being extremely sick and not able to walk much we would have left when the owner was incredibly rude and bossy about moving some tables for 17 of us to sit at. She wanted 17 of us to sit at a table for 12… Hmm I could have sat on the floor if she wanted. It’s a wonder they are still in business. We spent over $ 200 in there and then tipped the kitchen $ 45 which for a pizza place is a good tip. I manage a pizza place in Valencia, and I couldn’t imagine them staying open much longer with that woman in there making the tension so thick you could cut it with a plastic spoon. Good luck with your establishment. Oh and from the last time I ate there it tastes like the quality has gone down.

The pizza was good. The meatball sub was not very good neither was the BBQ chicken sub, but the sour dough on the subs was great.

I would love to give Pine Mtn Pizza Co a 5-Star review for the overall experience but I just can’t. The location is great. Their beer selection is great. The atmosphere is great. But the pizza isn’t. We ordered a seemingly simple pepperoni pizza while visiting the other day, and it was delivered to us in about 15 minutes. It was okay, but nothing great. Honestly, some of the frozen pizzas we get have a better overall taste to them. I think what stood out to us was the lack of flavor in the crust. It was just dough. No explicit flavor to it, just dough. The sauce tasted like it was from a can, and there wasn’t enough cheese on it to really fill the pie. It’s not fair to say, «Be nice to them, it’s just a little mom & pop pie shop up in the hills». It’s pizza, and like most people I have a lot of experience eating them and this just didn’t meet our expectations. We tried them last year and remember them being better. Unfortunate.

Absolutely amazing pizza! I’m very surprised for kinda being in the middle of no where, but you really can’t go wrong if you go have pizza at this place.

Having had pizza here several times, I can verify that the pizza is delicious and very reasonably priced. Today we ordered four large pizzas for the whole family, plus assorted friends, and they were able to have our order ready in 30 minutes! They have vegetarian-friendly pizzas(«Very Veggie») as well as a wonderful Hawaiian(«The Big Kahuna») and other toppings including artichoke hearts, chicken and smoked bacon. Salads and sodas, too! Overall, a wonderful establishment to have on the mountain.

There’s been a pizza place in this location ever since I bought my cabin in Pine Mountain Club 30 years ago. I hadn’t tried it in years, but I went there yesterday when I remembered the great pizza samples they give out at Wine in the Pines. It was fabulous — crispy, thin crust pesto, artichoke and mushroom pizza with a very cold Blue Moon. I will be back very soon.

Great food, great folks, and a great place to hang out. We eat here every time we come up to PMC.
