Amber Meadows Liquors

Not a bad local wine store and they stock plenty of local and area wines.
I stopped in looking for some specific wine I like but can’t get back in CA due to Maryland restricting the buying and shipping of wine across state line. So once a year I stock up and load my suitcase up like there is no tomorrow.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions and helped me access some items that were way too high up for me to reach. She also gave me the display wine for one of the ones I wanted as it was the only one left.
They didn’t have everything I wanted, but had about 75%. Not bad for a small mom and pop location. Since it’s so close to my aunt and uncle I’m sure I’ll stop by here next year to do the bulk of my stocking up again.

I happened to be trying to figure out what I was going to eat for dinner one night when I happened upon Amber Meadows. In terms of selection, they had a lot more wine than they did liquor. That being said they had plenty of the «sample» sizes — perfect for those days when you really don’t want a big bottle. Price wise, they were okay on the wine, so so on the liquor. A plus for me — they had some Maryland wines I had never seen before at a price I was willing to try them at.
