Got the worst haircut of my life a few weeks ago here. Was told my cut came with a «free deep conditioner» which entailed being placed under the dryer for 5 mins… Stylist forgot about me and I was under there for 15 mins. Fried my hair– it hasn’t felt the same since. Asked to add more layers in my hair… Stylist basically made one blunt line row of hair about an inch from the bottom of my hair, and that was it. I didn’t realize how bad it was at the time bc of how it was styled (which also was not what I asked for– I said I wanted it straightened and they curled the ends). All in all it cost $ 65 for all this that I could have had done 100x better at my normal place for $ 40. My usual place was closed and I was desperate. I will not be returning here though.

Nothing but great things to say about the staff here and am so happy that I have found a stylist who takes the time to listen to what I really want done to my hair. Tina Fishman, thank you so much!!! I went in thinking I wanted blonde highlights and then changed my mind to low lights. Tina took the time to show me the different colors. When applying the dye she guided me through what she was doing, perhaps because she could tell I was apprehensive, but nonetheless I greatly appreciated it.

I have been going to Bubbles for a few years now just for haircuts. I’ve worked with two different stylists there and both have been excellent. Recently, I decided to treat myself to a color, but I wasn’t really sure what I wanted (which was pretty unfair to my poor stylist!). So, my stylist made some suggestions and did a great job applying the base color and highlights we chose. I’m not an incredibly picky person usually, but, unfortunately, on me, these colors just didn’t look right. My husband was very unhappy and I kept cringing when I looked in the mirror, so I called the next morning. They got me in right away even though it was a Saturday. My stylist was very professional about the whole thing. She redid my highlights and toned down the color so that it would suit me better – all free of charge! I am so grateful to Bubbles because I don’t think just any salon would’ve done this!

I went in asking for cut recommendations and said I’d like to also do something fun with color. I needed my face waxed also. I really only need to do my brows but I love how smooth my lip and chin feel so I do them at the same time. The hairstylist was unimpressive with her ideas and very conservative. so I left with a decent haircut and no roots but uninspired color. I like that I could have coffee while I waited and the ambiance is pretty. The stylist kept mentioning that I didn’t need my lip or chin done. And I kept saying how I just like to have a smooth face. well, she seriously didn’t think I needed it done. She felt okay about charging me for a job that was not done. I will not be back for either a haircut or waxing because of how bad the wax job was. There were hairs on both my lip and chin and she did not even try to use tweezers to help it out. I didn’t realize how unsmooth I felt until I left. too bad. This was my first haircut/​wax in the area and she could have had my business with no competition. Instead I’m going to give my husband a go at cutting my hair and coloring it with e-​Salon color.
