I’ve been a member since Carolina tans had first opened, and since day one the customer service has always been outstanding. The staff is always polite and very helpful when it comes to proper tanning times and lotion reviews.
The membership fees are very low in comparison to other salons and Bonnie always gives great perks to being a member! You can get tanning bucks, free upgrades, and there is even one dollar tan days! It’s a really great membership program!
The beds here are great, each are very different so it’s always nice to change up. The girls are always giving «refreshers» on how to work the beds which is always helpful. The level four and five beds are my favorite, especially level four considering it has spa additives that mist. It’s very refreshing.
I’ve also tried the spray tan booth, I like that it’s voice controlled so there is no confusion on when to turn etc. I enjoyed the spray tan but prefer regular tanning. My suggestion is to get the feet pads so the bottoms of your feet don’t get orange, and moisturize your knees and elbows! That was my only error when first attempting the spray tan. However, it was perfect for a quick fix of color.

I’m very pleased with my fake bake experience here! I am one of those people that is obsessed with being Jersey Shore tan in the summer. Just cause I can’t afford a summer in the Caribbean doesn’t mean I can’t look like it!
We’ve all heard how awful tanning beds are for your skin so I usually get Mystic spray tans. At CT, they have a different spray brand that starts with an E but I can’t remember the name. Anyway, the woman that got me set up was very friendly and explained every little detail while getting my info at the front and again when she showed me to the booth.
I loved my spray tan! The booth is voice guided so you’re not going to end up like Ross on Friends because you can’t remember when to turn around. Of course for the rest of the day I looked like I’d smeared foundation on my face and didn’t blend it in but that’s to be expected. Good thing I could spend the day at home binging on season 3 of OITNB! But after my cold shower the next morning, my color was awesome and I am one happy tanorexic. I will definitely be returning to CT all summer!
