BEST PIER 1 I’VE EVER BEEN TO!!! Very well staffed, the store manager is exceptional, very sweet and more than willing to help you find what you need. The store is huge and has lots to choose from, much better than the previous Pier 1 location off the golden mile. Very nice, clean restrooms here as well.

i called in search of a clearance easter item since the stores in the bay area, everything from marin county to gilroy, were all sold out of this particular item. since my folks live in maryland, i figured that if i could find this item, i’d put it on hold and have them pick it up on my behalf.
i was assisted by heather, who coincidentally used to live in the bay area and is now in maryland (the opposite of myself) and who was able to locate the item i sought. after calling several stores in maryland, and hearing that they, too, were sold out of this item, i was so happy to hear that this location had the item in stock!
their hold policy is 24 hours, so i went ahead and paid for the item over the phone, which would then allow my parents extra time to pick up the item since this store is a bit of a drive from their house. they took my credit card and immediately emailed the receipt to me so that i could send it to my parents to use when they picked up the item.
a few days later, my parents drove to this store to pick up the item. coincidentally, heather was also there on this very day and actually remembered the conversation with me and let my parents know that she was the one who took the order and remembered the girl from the san francisco area! i’m told that she retrieved the item, handed it to my parents, no receipt needed since she knew exactly what they were there to pickup. my parents then spent some time shopping in this store and found some items for their home.
i really want to commend heather for her excellent customer service in this matter. she was friendly, super nice and helpful on the phone, and even though i didn’t get to meet her in person, i certainly appreciated the cheery customer service that i received on the other end of a call from 3000 miles away. Very poor service. People ignored us when I was trying to buy something. Never go back.

This store has some great items in it but it is cluttered. You can barely walk down the aisle without hitting something or something hitting you. It is a bit expensive for the type of quality.
