Clagett Enterprise HOA represented by Mary Ann are not taking care of Seneca Ridge Dr. Hagerstown MD. I wrote several emails about neighbors leaving their grill out for over three weeks and their blue recycle bin outside their garage door for the past 4 weeks and she wrote me a nasty email in how I should stop harassing my neighbors but in reality is her not doing her job. I haven’t seen her around for over a month and whenever I report something she tells me that I should call the police.

The community representative we have, her name is Elizabeth, is very professional and cares about her community members. This property management company is A-​OK. I would recommend.

I made the naïve mistake of listening to my realtor who suggested Claggett as a rental agent. Big Mistake. I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt for months until I realized their poor customer service was not an anomaly. Both Marcie Clagett Carnahan and Trae Wilson who work the rental property management office were notorious for not responding to my calls or emails for days, if at all. Two tenants abandoned my home prior to their lease with the second causing damage that exceeded their rent deposit. I did not received a cent for any repairs, cleaning, or damage. I was absolutely floored they did not provide any reimbursement for the repairs and cleaning I had to make on my home to make is presentable to new tenants. They did not even pay for the removal of furniture that was left in the house. Absolutely unacceptable. I am happy to reply to any inquiries about the details. I highly recommend against this company and concur with all of the other reviews.

A terrible management company doing nothing but charge fines. I moved in a new community not long ago and it just snow a couple days ago. There is nobody come to take care of the snow. Just let the snow turn into ice. I email to their manager and they completely ignore it without any response. I called the manager directly and it only goes to the answering machine. I called the company again complain about the situation and the lady transfer me successful to the manager. She just reply impatiently that is not their responsibility and will reflect to relevant contractor. Not showing that she will try something to make it work.

In my opinion this is a terrible management company. I’ve lived in a neighborhood managed by Clagett for 7 years and it has gone completely downhill. It used to be a nice neighborhood, but, is now becoming a ghetto. The contractors they hire for grass and snow maintenance are terrible. I never see maintenance being done on the neighborhood. Playgrounds are dangerous because no mulch is ever replenished on the play area leaving hard ground for the kids to fall on and the trash cans by the play areas are never emptied so that they overflow onto the ground and possibly attract rodents. I believe that Mary Ann Garst is extremely unhelpful and does not care if this neighborhood becomes ghetto or not. I will never live again in a neighborhood managed by Clagett.

OMG — if these people manage any place you want to live run away as fast as you can. They are by far one of the worst management companies I have ever worked with. They don’t return phone calls or emails. They won’t answer questions. They think they own the buildings they have been hired to manage. Very poor customer service.
