Here’s some backstory. Scheduled service on 16th Feb its was around 2 or 3pm when I called to confirm if the guy was still coming out. I even signed up for the text confirmation. So when I realized the weather going south and my installer hadn’t showed up, I called to find out if he was coming or not and the tech supervisor said YES someone was definitely coming out. That’s when I got another call asking asking if it was ok for the guy to come out 4−430pm, I said yes and hung up the phone. About 10 – 15 later the tech called saying the last job made him run behind and he just got my job. He then tells me someone is going to call me to reschedule. Long story short nobody showed and nobody call. The install was suppose to happened on Monday and it didn’t. So when I called the directv 1 – 800 number to place a complaint, they said the tech came to my one level one car garage home. It was a total lie and I have photos to prove my neighborhood is three level townhomes. I then requested a supervisor like twice and finally got one. The notes didn’t match up and I she said I would get 100 dollar credit and she will personally call me around five pm today 19 Feb. Well its 725pm no phone call and this is the email response I got. Dear Mr. Johnson, Hi! This is Rosario from DIRECTV’s email department. I can see you recently placed an order for DIRECTV, I’d like to let you know that your business is very much appreciated! Thank you for taking the time out to let us know about the technician who didn’t show up for your scheduled installation. You were ensured that someone was coming when you called, but later learned your scheduled was cancelled and will be moved instead. I apologize for this, but I can assure you that the situation you had was rare as we put our customers satisfaction as DIRECTV’s top interest. Upon checking Mr. Johnson, I see that your schedule was put on hold after the technician learned that there is no line of sight in your location due to a lot of trees. As of this writing, we have scheduled a second opinion for you to verify line of sight on 3÷6÷2015 between 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Once we have confirmed that there’s really no way of getting adequate line of sight in your location, your schedule will automatically be cancelled. When I already had called the local office to make sure someone was arriving and the supervisor said YES! That same technician called me to tell me that all install were being cancelled and someone would call for a reschedule. Which i find out now it was bullcrap. I find out the technician wrote comments that he came to my house when he did NOT. How do I know this… the comments he wrote describing my house were incorrect… completely incorrect. He obviously didn’t know I signed up for the text messaging confirmation service stating that someone would be coming around 4−430pm. This is a HORRIBLE way to get someone business.
