We walked out after our wasted 20 minutes in this establishment. The gentleman that was helping us must not enjoy his job and/or customer interaction. He moved in a very slow pace and wasn’t very helpful at all. The purpose of our visit was to line up tuxedos for our wedding. The key to picking out colors is having samples. Would you believe that they only had two ivory samples of the over a dozen that their binder shows available and the samples weren’t even remotely close in person to what the shades were in the binder? I’m sorry but this is not the way to order anything. You want to know, not guess and hope it’s what you want. And why is it that prom season would have anything to do with this store not having more samples on hand? Not a good excuse to having next to nothing to show potential customers. Very disappointing and we drove all the way from Charles Town, WV.

I rented a tuxedo through this store for my wedding. The week before the wedding, I picked up my suit, tried it on, and took it home. As the day neared though, my fiancé and I became uncomfortable with the color/fit of the rental so we started looking for different options. Two days before the wedding we were in the store, putting together a suit, and we could’t of done it without a certain employee’s superb customer service. When we had pieced together my outfit, I realized that my shirt didn’t accept cuff links. No problem, she offered to take it home to her mother and sew cuff link holes into the shirt and have it ready on my wedding day. Great experience at this store.

So in the continuing saga of the Jos A Bank store from hell in Columbia, I really wanted to take advantage of my companies corporate discount, so I left that store and thought that surely, they couldn’t all be that messed up. So I went to this Frederick Store, fully on the defensive(read my review from the Columbia store to understand why), and ready to walk out and go back to Mens Warehouse. I was pleasantly greeted, asked what I was looking for, and shown several different items of interest, all related to exactly what I was looking for. The sales lady I was dealing with was well attune to not only mens fashion, but professional business fashion. Further, she didn’t take me to things I really had no interest in. Compared to the debacle of the Columbia store that I endured(2 hours of non-sense), I was in and out of this store, perfectly satisfied with what I purchased, and exactly what I was looking for, in under 30 mins. Further, I told them about my issue, so they knocked an additional 5 pct off of one of the sale items I was buying as a good gesture for giving this store a chance. I couldn’t have been happier with my transaction for this store. It’s moves like that, and class like that, that will have me coming back to that store in the near future. Great Job!

My husband wears a suit every day, and we have been in and out of several Jos A Bank locations over the years. This location is our favorite. Great service, great staff. They all remember us each time we come in, which is appreciated and unusual these days! They will work with you and do what it takes to make sure you leave happy. The reason for 4 stars is simply because Jos A Bank in general is not my favorite store – nothing to do with this location.
