After a day of sitting at my computer I drove to My Red bow spa for #LaBlast class! The setting was beautiful the people lovely and all I can say is that it was worth the drive from Baltimore. When I next visit Maryland I will go early and have a massage! Thank you

My fiancé and I took wedding dance lessons here because we didn’t want to look foolish on the dance floor. Jessica, our instructor, was super knowledgeable and accommodating. She worked with us and was especially flexible with scheduling when we had to do some changes at the last minute. Frank was terrific & gave us well needed boosts of confidence.
We were on the fence as to whether or not we should get lessons and we are SO glad we did. What we first thought might be a chore ended up being a welcome respite from the wedding planning. We can’t wait for our wedding next week to show off our skills

I was not impressed! There is no relaxation room and I left feeling sore from the massage and ripped off by the 30 minute facial.

Cynthia is a massage wizard. She is not just going through a routine, the experience is completely customized to your wants and needs. I’ve been twice and can not wait for my next appointment.

I chose to go here because it is close to my home and because of the great Unilocal reviews. I was very disappointed and won’t return.
The aesthetician seemed to be a nice person so I will not name her here. I am genuinely sorry to have to write a bad review, but I feel that the value here was so poor that I must warn others.
I had a brow wax and express facial.
The brow wax was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Instead of defining my arch, she basically made it flat. She failed to remove a bunch of hairs, which I had to do myself when I got home. This may have been in part due to poor quality wax, but still, she should have noticed and gone back to pluck these hairs. Worst of all, the right and left were noticeably uneven – the right being higher and the left lower. I believe she took off relatively more off the top of the left, and relatively more off the bottom of the right.
The facial, although «express», still cost $ 50, and I would have expected much more for the money. It consisted of a cleaning, exfoliation, and moisturizer. The exfoliation part took by far the longest, but just consisted of placing goo on my face and then leaving me under steam for quite a long time (more than half of the session). She commented that the goo was a «very light» exfoliant. Um, I don’t want just a «light» anything when I pay for a professional facial.
During that phase, the aesthetician stepped out of the room for a bit (not unusual) but when she returned did not actively participate in the facial, just sat behind me apparently writing (and writing and writing). The sound of her writing, and the feeling of her being there but not really being present was not relaxing at all. I understand that an express facial takes less time, but it shouldn’t include less focus on the client. All other facials I’ve ever had in my life (and there have been quite a few) have included something during the «dead» time of waiting for product to dry or to steam. Often this would be massage of the shoulders/​hands/​arms, which does not cost any extra product on their part.
Also, she did not cover all of my face. She left a wide berth around my eyes (which she’d just waxed, so I suppose I can understand that). But she left my upper lip and lower nose completely untouched and did not work under the chin or on the neck/​décolletage as all other facials I’ve ever had have done. I had to try to spread the moisturizer and sunscreen onto these areas after she left the room at the end.
All in all, this was not even close to being $ 50 worth of facial. I can sit in a steamy shower at home, or bend over a pot on the stove to get steam. I don’t pay for a professional facial to get an experience that I could easily replicate at home. :-(

I have been passing by this My Red Bow for quite awhile and was always curious. A recent Groupon offered the perfect opportunity! It was a dreary day when I had a 30 minute facial scheduled with Therese, the optimal day for a nap and relaxation. Therese was wonderful to talk with and was very knowledgeable and gentle throughout the whole facial. I left with a glowing complexion, feeling like I had a new face and wishing I had signed up for longer!

I went on my birthday for the detox mud wrap and it was amazing. Denise who was the therapist for the session was great. Extremely friendly and definitely paid attention to my needs. The place is very quant and peaceful. I would definitely recommend and I’ll definitely being going back.

Spotless, professional exceptional focus on the client and their needs. No high pressured up-​selling (very much appreciated) very serene setting. i will definitely go back, but my insane schedule prohibits regular appts (bummer). Frank is a professionally trained, genuine practitioner. not some mail-​order psuedo-​certified back rubber…
well worth the trip and experience.
