I was there on Saturday night with my boyfriend(first time). We ordered crispy calamari(squid). The calamari was fried with very old oil. I was able to taste it. The phở .omg it was the most disgusting phở ever. Super fatty and not tasty at all. The broth was clear(I’m sure they put msg) it was not good. Barely put cilantro in mine. I will not recommend this place at all. The BEST phở in town is at VIETGOURMET. Fresh and super tasty win a variety of phos’. Service was okay ish except that our server was bugging us too much. I think it was the owner that was greeting every table except ours, made me feel like an outcast. They also need to clean the sauce bottles cause at the bottom they have a black thingy that means is not fresh.

Spot on Bahn Mi! Been craving one since being back home where we have a large Vietnamese population and this did the trick! Will be going back again and again to get it. Only reason I didn’t give 5* is bc I’ve only been there once and have only had the Bahn mi.

My go to in Frederick. A true gem on the Golden Mile. Tai and Tyler, the owners are friendly, down-to-earth and their food is off the hook! You can’t just go once… especially after you try the dynamite wings and the bubble tea.

This is really a 3.5 star review. Per other Unilocalers, we tried the wings, the crispy spring rolls, the pad thai(chicken), and the brisket phở. First of all, our servers could not have been any sweeter! They were eager, kind, and helpful. Once more diners began to arrive, they seemed to get a little flustered, but handled it well. The food was pretty good… but not the BEST of anywhere we’ve been. The wings were good, but pretty heavily fried. The crispy spring rolls were a tad soggy inside, but terrific flavors. My husband’s phở was not his favorite, but it hit the spot… and the medium is more than enough(at least with the other starters). My pad thai was good(and they were happy to leave out the cilantro for me – I’m one of THOSE people who just hate it) — but very«wet.» In other words, I prefer my pad thai to be truly stir-fried so that the noodles are a little drier. The kick was just right, but have a bubble tea close by :) Overall, a good experience — and we’ll probably be back.

It’s not too bad, but not the best Phở ever. I got a large mix beef bowl of phở. The broth was okay, and definitely a bit fattier than I’m used to. I was surprised how little bean sprouts, Thai basil, and jalapeños they gave us(for three people, they gave us what I’d call a single serving, based on experiences at other Phở places). Our waitress seemed a bit spacey, not picking up on the fact that we were ready to order or(later) ready to settle our check. Otherwise very cordial. The rest of the menu looks good(especially the Pad Thai and the Banh Mi), but based on our soups, this was a two star experience.

I love this little place. Easily overlooked, but some of the best phở and Pad Thai I’ve had. Granted, I’ve never been to Thailand, or Vietnam, so I can’t say anything about authenticity but it is amazingly flavorful food! I love the pad Thai – I get it almost every time. The spring and summer rolls are good as well! Once a coworker ordered and instead of the A3 Chicken Roll appetizer, he ordered the A6 Chicken Wrap – vastly different. The first is grilled lemongrass chicken paired with rice noodles and lettuce wrapped in rice paper. Yummy, but you definitely need the sauce – it gets a little dry. The second is diced sautéed chicken, mushrooms, and water chestnuts served with ice burg lettuce – make your own wraps. That was amazing. The service is always friendly and prompt!

Very nice! Had the phở and spring rolls. Ordered summer rolls and got spring but were still good. The phở broth was perfectly flavored with ginger. Dinner came out promptly and very hot. The décor is very modern, cool, and clean. Still trying to figure out why they have 5 tvs. Not like it’s a sports bar. The waiter was very attentive, courteous and professional. Worth a return trip!

My wife and I love coming here for the phở. She gets the small chicken phở, I like the large TNT special beef phở. The special has brisket, tendons & meatballs. The broth is really what can make or break phở; it’s excellent here. The facility is clean and well laid out. They have several TVs on the walls for casual viewing. It’s not too loud despite that. Service is prompt and polite. The staff are friendly but not in your face friendly which is a plus. I have tried the dessert; it’s actually very good! Definitely worth a try — you will like it!

I was delightfully surprised at how much my mom and I liked this place. My mom and I wanted to grab a quick and hot lunch one Sunday afternoon. We decided to go here because it was close by. We walked into a pretty busy restaurant. We were seated immediately and the service was very good and attentive. My mom ordered the seafood Phở, and I had the vegetarian. I was amazed at how many vegetables I had in my soup. Hands down the best portion and freshness of vegetables and fried tofu. Vegetarian broth is always more bland than the beef soup, but theirs was decent. Once you add the herbs, lime and jalapeño — it’s so good! My mom was pleased with her seafood phở, she thought it was flavorful and they used fresh seafood — and again good portion. Prices are decent. Parking is easy. Definitely a favorite of ours for Phở in the area.

The PHO soup was delicious. I got the Large P4 which is the soup and well done round eye and a glass of Thai Ices Tea. The staff is very attending and courteous, the environment is very welcoming, and the food is prepared timely and well. The music is calming. All together a great lunch spot. PS. Try the Vietnamese Coffee.

Place was clean, service was friendly, PHO was bland, iced coffee was bland, but there is a full menu and I don’t think anything here would really disappoint. Okay, the other reviews you’ve read are correct. It is a blander PHO than other places. It doesn’t have anything to do with them adding more fat to it(PHO broth should be lean) this is just watered down broth and probably doesn’t have as much of a spice packet essence as some places. It was actually a bit greasy the last time I had it, so again, not the fat content. It may be a style choice and you may like it. I got halfway through my bowl(which I always heavily season with Sriacha and Hoisin) and I still had to do something I NEVER do to PHO… I added salt. I figured that is what it must be lacking, but the salt didn’t help much, it just made for a saltier thin broth. It wasn’t bad, just not a lot of flavor. I was also a little annoyed that I ordered the Phở Tai(P3) and got the Phở Chin(P4). They differentiate between rare eye round(P3) and well done eye round(P4). The quantity of meat was also pretty thin. I got a large. It was $ 9.45. As some said while it is the largest bowl of PHO I have received… it’s just the bowl that is big.(See my photo) The amount of soup they give you is on par with other places. It was almost 2″ below the rim. Big bowl. Normal amount of soup. Given that, this was a high priced bowl of PHO, specially for Frederick. Iced coffee… Vietnamese iced coffee should be strong and sweet. This was neither. It was more of a traditional iced coffee with coffee that was on the weak side without a lot of condensed milk. I have gotten this before at places that make the iced coffee ahead and then serve it to you. The table-side drip cups make it better. Don’t get me wrong, I like the restaurant. The bathrooms are very clean and nice. The menu looks great. It is clear that the owners take pride in the establishment. It’s just that for the price, it wasn’t up there with the best PHO I’ve had. I like both Viet Aroma and Lucky Corner better, with regards to local soup offerings. I’ve had the soup a few times now and I think I’ll try some other menu items on future visits. The soup just doesn’t give the PHO satisfaction I’m craving. The restaurant is a nice addition to Frederick, though.

Phở is all about the quality of the broth, right?! That intensely delicious rich broth full of flavor & pure happiness… something you deeply crave. A sensory experience. That being said, Phở TNT left me oh so confused. We ordered the eye of round Phở(p3& p4) The portions are generous, the beef is lean, the noodles are plentiful. The broth!!! Nothing more than noodle water. Hot water & noodles. No flavor. Water. My husband & I just stared at each other in total confusion. Not wanting to be rude, we squeezed on the Srirach & Hoisin, eating the beef & noodles but avoiding the broth. How sad… right!!! When we received our bill I did mention the lack of flavor to our waiter & he said it was due to the broth being ‘new’ and not enhanced with flavor yet. Why serve something that is the star of the show that’s not true quality? So disappointing. That being said, our waiter did take 20% off of our bill for the low quality of the broth. And I must add that the Summer Rolls were really big & very good! We may give them a 2nd chance…

Yep, found my new favorite place to eat! I have been eyeing Phở TNT since they opened and finally went today. WHY did I wait so long?! I am no expert on Vietnamese cuisine so I cannot speak on authenticity but I can speak on deliciousness and this place has it. I went specifically for the phở, of course, and was not disappointed. Their broth is smooth and flavorful and the eye round(rare) was very soft and seemed to be good quality. I was almost able to finish a medium. My husband went with the pad Thai with shrimp and we also got the dynamite combination appetizer because we couldn’t decide on just one. Holy crap, was everything good! Those wings are so crispy and delicious. Mmmmm, the summer and spring rolls were as well. My husband was meh about the summer rolls but I completely disagree. I think they make a great side with phở. The raspberry tea was even perfect, too. This place is just so up my alley and I am very excited we finally went. I saw they have happy hour during the week with discounted beer and apps which inspired our next trip. Can’t wait to try a bahn mi, too. It seemed like that is what most of the tables around us ordered.
