I had my panels installed a little over a year ago. Full disclosure: I work for the company. Myself and every other homeowner that works here in the Frederick office had them installed, signed up as regular customers, with no additional discounts. It just makes sense. 1200 customers installed in the area in a little over a year? The savings are there, just like finding a gas station that sells their gas for less per gallon. The more you buy, the more you save. Wish I had an all electric house. :) Locking my electricity into a guaranteed cheap, scheduled rate gives me control over the cost of living in my home. I decide, not the power company, or the government that regulates the coal dependent power company. And with literally no up front cost, there is no down side. It’s a process to get it installed and then turned on, but that’s ok, as long as people understand that going into it. Worth the wait, especially as utility rates increase. Which they have, significantly just since we started installing out here. Love the product and the company I work for.

I’ve had my solar panels on for about 7 months now. The whole process went pretty much as planned. I couldn’t tell anyone how much we were saving until we started seeing our statements. We received about 6 statements from feb– July. Our highest bill has been ~ $ 110, this is from vivint and allegheny combined. So we live in an ~ 4500 sf home with 3 heating cooling units. Our neighbor who has a similar style home, their bill was $ 165. Anyhow, I can say with confidence… It will save you money! Also our sales guy was awesome Brandon Wyzga, we didn’t understand the bills at first, he came back by and explained, it all makes sense now, we are very happy.
