Everything in my previous review still applies. Just updating to add that construction is well under way for the new Walmart Supercenter that will replace this store, and I can’t wait until the new Supercenter opens, which is scheduled for this Fall.

Thought this would be a super Wal-Mart, it was not. The flow of the store isn’t what I am used with Wal-Mart. The grocery section was seriously lacking. I did find what I need in terms of cookware, but definitely will be going down the road for the cleaner more organized store.

We went to this Walmart on Thursday to get items for the storm and a Birthday camera for me. We received the worst service ever from a lady named Rose in the electronic area. We were looking at the cameras and she rudely said stop pulling the cameras to my wife. My wife apologized and just let her know she was trying to view the camera. Than my wife asked if all the cameras were off the sales associate Rose replied I don’t know. Her attitude was just horrible along with her nasty Facial expressions. So we continued to look at the cameras not even noticing the alarm was going off. Probably because Walmart was stocking and there were a lot of noises around us. She comes back and in a snappy voice tells us to stop touching the cameras. So I ask her how can i decide which camera to use when I can’t even look at the cameras. She kept talking nasty to me and my wife asked her to get a manager. She looked at us crazy and started helping a customer that got there after us. We asked her again nicely she ignored us. I couldn’t believe this was happening. And guess what she never went to get a manager. So my wife asked a two sales associates to get us a manager. The second sales associate was helpful asked if she could help us with something we said we need help in electronics she said can the lady in electronics assist you. We said she’s the problem and the sales associate said I figured that. So clearly people have issues with the lady. Long story short the manager Jason came after 15 – 20 minutes he was nice and calm. We asked him for corporate information so we could file a formal compliant he said it was 1−800-Walmart. My wife just sent the corporate office an email. I was so upset we left our full basket there we can no longer shop in that store. Than we had to take our whole family to Kmart it was just an inconvenience it was freezing. And all the stores were mad houses !

I have been traveling across the DC and MD area looking for a Elsa’s Ice Castle for my daughter. Five Walmart stores in the area said that they had it in stock with no luck. This Walmart though had the nicest associate that searched for it throughout the store and found it for me. After«Santa’s» promise to my daughter to show up on New Years with only to find out that her castle was not arriving till a week later because of bad customer service. The nice woman with short dark hair in the Pick Up area saved the day. I have a feeling other stores may have had it, but didn’t look as hard as she did. Thank you for saving my daughter’s belief in Santa. :)

So glad this is not a Super Walmart. So sad that its slated to become one(and move across the street). Well stocked and more selection than Super Walmarts – the Supers don’t offer as many items because they need to fit all the produce – and I’ll never buy produce from Walmart. Prices cannot be beat, especially milk, which is at least $ 1 less than Wegmans. Their overall prices are way cheaper than Target. One star deducted because most of the time, there is someone outside soliciting for some organization or another. Today is was someone selling candy bars for a Christian school – shouldn’t tuition be the way schools get money? But its almost always something, and they beg of you on the way in and out. Blech.

Customer service has really gone down the toilet these days and this place is no exception. Was looking for the ship to store pickup, came in and walked to customer service. There were 3 workers not doing much of anything but talking amongst themselves. I was ignored until I spoke up after about 3 minutes of standing there waiting for them to finish. Ignorantly rude. Must be nice to get paid to stand around and socialize. So then I get to the ship to store pickup which is also the photo center and ask if I’m in the right spot. Yep, I am; at least I was attended to right away. I ask if she needs my order number. She says«no, I need your ID». Then she wants my order number. Seriously, then why did you say no when I asked if you needed it? I just shook my head. Stupid. The only reason this gets 2 stars is that the store was stocked with plenty of Halloween stuff while other stores locally have very little and it was pretty organized/clean, AND we were greeted by Kenneth on our way out who very friendly and welcoming. Store needs more Kenneth type experiences. But just as soon as I exit the store, there’s about 5 employees smoking at the corner of the building, stinking up the place. Disgusting. Isn’t this type of space usually out back, not what greets visitors as they enter and exit the store??? Managers need to get with the program. Give these people training; set good examples, and expect excellence. People wonder why business is taken elsewhere, stores close, leaving people without jobs… take pride in your work people. I’ll keep giving my business to Amazon until you can get it right.

First… why is this not a super walmart yet. Okay, let’s work on it. This place was not to bad. The school section was a mess. It look like a hurricane hit about 4 aisles. The store seems to be over packed and not enough space. It was hard to get help in this store. I had to search for the people who worked here to get some help. I’m not sure I will return to this location. They have somethings to work on here.

Walmart will always have some issues of course… but it has pretty much everything and this one in particular has pretty good staff, so it does make a big difference.

I like this Walmart! It’s quiet, not as busy and the associates are not rude. I’d prefer this Walmart over the one on 85.

WOW, of course all Wal-Marts are horrible to deal with but this one totally takes the cake. They have NO selection, NOTENOUGH cashiers, their money order and Western Union machine is ALWAYS down, and their customer service is horrendous. They run on shorter hours, shorter staff, next to no stock at all, and they pay their workers $ 8.25/hr to not care about anything except when their next smoke break is. Tiny, always overcrowded, bad attitudes(all the way to the Store GM), and nothing to offer. I’ve been to smaller backwoods Wal-Marts in towns of 5000 people that have better selection than this one. And where the heck’s the hot foods/deli bar?

Went out last night just to see all the idiots getting ready for some dumb sales. went INSIDE(no idea what we were thinking) and omg i have never seen a bigger mob! this store was absolutely overrun. there should have been a max capacity for this place and security at the door making people wait to get in cuz let me tell ya THIS Walmart up on 26 can’t handle that many people at the check outs. can’t tell u how many times i had to say excuse me to get out. The people were like rabid wolves too. the store had stuff out that could not be accessed until midnight. These were housed in shrink wrap that they thought were supposed to keep people out. no less than 3 times did i hear people say please do not open the shrink wrap until 12. oy. this review really isn’t for the store it’s more for the day«Black Friday» and the SHEEPLE that just have to fall for everyone’s marketing ploys.
