I have committed a serious crime against this establishment. Upon entering I read a sign that asked customers not to eat any toppings until they paid. Because I am a crazy rebel who doesn’t play by the rules I ignored this sign and ate-you might need to sit down for this– one entire piece of candy… before paying. Luckily the owner, who was sitting in the back watching the cameras like freaking batman to catch criminals like me, came out to the front specifically to put me in my place. Had he not been there to chastise me I may have gotten away with it and continued on to have a life as a hardened criminal. Thank god for people like him! On a serious note, the other staff was nice. This dude is seriously going to run himself out of business if he continues to treat customers with such immense disrespect. I hope the $ 0.05 for that candy was worth loosing 5 customers’ business.

I’ve been here several times and twice have been treated very poorly by the owner. The first time I had two gift cards, I used the dollar or two off of the first one and then he refused to let me use the second one for the remaining balance and argued with me for quite some time about it. Tonight he went off on my husband for pulling the trigger of the ice cream to get the melted part off before he started putting it in his cup. Probably went on for a full minute. Talking about the price and how much it would cost him. That $.17 just cost him 5 paying customers. We will be taking our business across the street to Menchies where the staff is friendly.

This place is great, I’ve been to many frozen yogurt establishments and they were great here. The staff was very friendly, offered to get us as many samples as we liked. They also offered to help us find toppings if you couldn’t find them and very reasonable price even for the large size! Also the toppings didn’t look malled over, very clean environment.

I used to love this place(before Sweet Frog) and then it’s like they got bitter because of competition or something. $ 5 credit car minimum(which isn’t legal), they have to individually hand you sample cups one at a time(when you have a 5 y/o it’s beyond annoying) and the man that owns it is never nice. I don’t care for Menchie’s but I’d spend $ 100 in there before I spent $ 1 in this place.

This use to be my favourite store for yogurt, i must say this place is very bad when it comes cleaness… shocking… i couldn’t believe how messy this place was… and to add on top the customer service was never that good … Staff would be standing around talking … what happen to the good old days of greeting customers … I walked straight out of the store this time. a customer told me to go to Menchie’s which was right across the road and that has just open… I must admit Menchie’s was so clean and the staff there was so nice… u lost me as a customer… Menchie’s for good yogurt and good customer service … Ps: Menchie’s waffles are amazing

As I am a yogurt lover I went to Yogi castle I wanted to tried something new as I have recently moved into Frederick. TOTALDISAPPOINTMENT !!! I was very disappointed the moment I walked into the place .The staff was not friendly at all. I think customer service is very important. It would of been nice to be greeted with a smile but all I got was staff members standing around talking and joking around, not only that the store was not clean either, how can you even serve food in this store I asked myself. I was very disappointed, it was a waste of my time for even coming here in the first place. Just an advice to the store owner please hire more respected staff members with good customer service skills and cleaning skills, I can’t believe I wasted money .My partner did tell me to go to Menchies which was across the road next time I should of taken my girlfriend advice . The next day I did attend the Menchie’s it’s so much better and I now know the flavors are more tasteful and delicious and definitely the customer service I must give Menchies 100%

Hot steamy summer days can only be complimented with cool, delicious froyo. The peppy little girls here are always smiling and they just add to the sweetness. They keep the main attraction, the yogurts, well stocked and are always extra generous with the samples. Delicious yogurt combinations, a lively vibe and this place always leaves me smiling.

The young greater should train the workers at Moes on how to do it right. Starts with service 100% of the time. Plus product is good too!

This place has decent frozen yogurt. I wasn’t really thrilled with the flavor selection. The way I judge these places are on the toppings. This place was a little lack luster when it came to toppings. Not many fresh or healthy options. I might try it again just to see if they have some different flavors but wouldn’t go out of my way like I did to come here.

I very much enjoyed my first visit to a Yogi Castle. I got there 10 minutes before closing on a Sunday night and the employee still greeted me with a smile and told me to let her know if I wanted any samples. The strawberry flavor was delicious, which I topped with rainbow sprinkles and blackberries. An employee behind the toppings bar was starting to put away everything but offered to get more blackberries for me. I like that they have plenty of toppings, both of candy and fruit. Also, JV said the vanilla and NY cheesecake mix he made was really good. We spent $ 12 so obviously it’s cheaper to go to the grocery store for a couple of pints but the toppings bar is what makes frozen yogurt stores fun. I don’t understand people that complain about the price and the yogurt being sold by weight. Are you new??? Besides, it’s self serve. You have no one to blame but yourself for the price.

Hands down my favorite Fro-Yo spot around! Every time my fiancée and I walk in we are greeted with smiles all around. One of the staff members is always there to ask us how we are and if we would like to sample any flavors. The prices are much better than some of the other frozen yogurt places in town and they have a much wider selection in the toppings department… Honestly, we actually have about 3 other frozen yogurt places within a 2 mile radius from our apartment, but we prefer to make the drive across town instead!

The yogurt is good. I gave this place 3 stars for two reasons. First the layout of the store is not convenient. It seems backwards. Secondly, the prices are high. It seems that we average about $ 5 a person when we go here. That’s high for yogurt.

I love this sweet, decadent-tasting-but– not treat! Have added up calories and other nutrients and it is actually not so unhealthy. My favorite flavors are New York Cheesecake and Euro Tart with blueberries on top!

Was excited to see what all the hype was about, but only found half-decent ice cream for an insane price. Be warned that the biggest size cup costs ten dollars each! I couldn’t believe it! Just buy some ice cream from the store. Better yet, get some Ben & Jerry’s, because at this price it isn’t worth it.

I went here about 3 days ago, and I’ve got to say that Yogi Castle is pretty good. Although the building feels like I’m being closed in because it’s narrow, the frozen yogurt tastes good. I bought one for me and my dad to go. When I got home, my dad ate his vanilla frozen yogurt within 1 minute and said that«this frozen yogurt hits the spot!». I had vanilla mixed with cookies and cream and snickers flavor. Mine tasted good, but I will never mix 3 FroYo flavors like that again! YC just won me as a customer, and I will be coming here often, especially using my email discounts from YC.

Have to deduct a star for the horribly-designed layout. When its crowded here, as it has been everytime I go, it becomes a frustrating experience. I’ve been to the Darnestown Yogi Castle, where you start from the back and work your way up to the cashier(located at the front of the store). I understand the logic in designing this place way they did, but it doesn’t work in reality. There are 2 main problems, one of which can be easily corrected. One, once I have my yogurt I don’t want to stand behind numerous people deciding what toppings they want. My yogurt is melting by the time I get to the cashier. There should be a way for the people who are ready to checkout to bypass this. Two, because of the crowds, it is difficult to see what the flavor choices are! You could do what one guy did this weekend, which is walk over and check, but then you have to go back to the end of the line(which has since grown larger) once you are ready. How about posting the flavors on a sign or board right as you walk in? Or heck, right by the cups? Ta-da! Then we can get in line and not wonder what’s in that last machine. Still gets 4 stars because the flavors are varied enough for everyone to find at least something, and it tastes good. Thank you for not being a «tart» yogurt shop!

This is our weekly stop after enjoying Baker Park on Thursday morning outing with three hound children. They were so excited to go to Yogi Castle. Grace, the 4 year old Was so excited to see the cookies at the very end of the«goodie» bar, she sneaked a bite. Before I could have it weighted. The owner the came over to where we were sitting, with his voice raised, explaining to Grace it is stealing when she takes a Bite. It is weight, Uncle Ralph’s cookies are expenive at … A pound… Started mumbling business prices, number of thrives that come in his door. I finally said. She understands she is not to take a bite of the cookie before it is weighted. Enough! Really. I went up and had a piece wheight. I paid for the $ .08 cookie. You lost $ 16.00 every other week for that bite!

Yogi Castle is just ok to me. Nothing exciting. Serves its purpose. I think Frozen Yo is better and slightly cheaper. Skip the red velvet and go for the cake batter.

Tutti Frutti and Yogi Castle opened up at almost exactly the same time in Frederick. They are essentially the same concept: Serve yourself frozen yogurt in a dozen different flavors with a toppings bar and a scale at the end. Both of them are good, and I would have been happy with either one, but it’s impossible not to compare them since they’re so similar. The main difference that I have found between the two is that the yogurt at Tutti Frutti is much, much better than the yogurt at Yogi Castle. Tutti Frutti’s yogurt could easily be eaten alone with no toppings whatsoever. It’s creamy and dense and flavorful while the yogurt at Yogi Castle has the consistency of ice milk and pretty bland flavors for the most part. Yogi Castle does a better job of labeling their toppings and THEYHAVEFRUITYPEBBLES! On more than a couple of occasions I’ve effed up my sundae at Tutti Frutti by putting something on it that I thought was something else(crushed Andes mints DONOT go well with mango yogurt). Given the choice, though, this isn’t enough to make me choose Yogi Castle over Tutti Frutti.
