Cozy and quaint little cottage in the back yard of a home in a neighborhood. Strange sounding but actually was really private. Great yard but we were not sure we should use the outdoor table and grill. Cozy looking hammock too but again not sure if we should linger in their yard. Chickens were a cute touch! I’m a country girl and wanted to let them out of their coop in the morning! Cottage was clean but could have used a little more. Ashes in the fireplace and it is the beginning of Sept. Trim on walls and windows were also pretty dirty. Dust bunnies under the furniture. Didn’t realize there were window shades as well as the light curtains on the windows until the second day. Was a little uncomfortable that first night but after we found the shades it was cool! lol :) Decent linens but was hoping for better quality and better mattress. Ample supply of towels. LARGE copper lined shower and big jacuzzi tub. So nice after a day of sight seeing! They had some candles around the tub but they were all used up. Coffee pot was located in the bathroom right next to commode which was a little weird. Hair dryer provided as well as an iron and ironing board. Wish that was listed! Small dorm refrigerator with a tiny freezer compartment. Great pastries provided on our first day and vouchers on the others. If you want a full breakfast with your voucher try Java Ranch! They had one for about $ 7 and the voucher is for $ 10.
This cottage is great for the rate charged. $ 5 cheaper on the weekday. Provided two free bottles of water and two free juices as well, all waiting cold in the refrigerator. I would return because the rate is good and it was a cozy little cottage.

This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The furniture is in good shape and provides a relaxing room. The yard is relaxing and covered with bluebonnets in the spring. If you are expecting a high-end place you might be disappointed. But if you are looking for a simple place that is nice and a good value then this will fit the bill.

We absolutely love this Bed and Breakfast. It is close enough to Main Street that we can easily walk(and this can come in handy after a day of wine tasting and beer sampling.) It is quaint and quite and very nicely decorated. Probably my favorite feature(other than the HUGE Jacuzzi tub) is the fact that you have a large back yard with a very friendly rooster. All in all a wonderful place for a romantic get away
