While the innkeeper was friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable, the wifi free, and the room spacious, it was also quite noisy, set just a bit off of a fairly busy road. Shampoo was supplied, but no conditioner. Uh, I need conditioner and I generally assume there will be some provided at the inn.(Next time, I’ll know better!) The breakfast was served promptly at 9a.m., family style in the dining room, and gave the opportunity to get to know the other guests,(whether you want to or not.) There was no flexibility in breakfast time which meant we got off to a later than normal start. Not the end of the world. The breakfast itself was«meh,» basically all carbs(heavy on sweet bread, very light on protein) and left me queasy and unsatisfied. Had I known, I actually would have skipped the breakfast so I could try breakfast at one of the appealing looking local restaurants.

David and Rosemary Riggs write about their stay January 8th, 2012. We Are Refreshed. Our long weekend was marvelous thanks to the hospitality of our B&B. Their attention to our needs freed us to explore, reminisce, and rekindle the romance in our marriage
