Got crabs a Cox’s Crabs this Friday. I ordered a half bushel of #1 Males. The box felt like it had some weight to it, so I figured they’d be good. Especially after the own/​clerk told me that they were «fat right now». When I got home, my wife and I started to get into them and noticed two thing… They were pretty small (very small) for #1 males and there were a ton of claws. After a little more inspection (removed all crabs from the box) we found that this place gave us about 1⁄3 of the half bushel of trash (claws and legs). When I removed the claws and legs from the bottom of the box, I was left with a couple dozen very small crabs that I paid $ 115 for…
If you want a fair deal for your hard earned money, beware of Cox’s Crabs!
