We don’t have H-E-B in California. I was soooo impressed with the variety at this store. They even had RAW brand foods, unsweetened foods that I buy, organic foods, and so many fresh prepared food items. Love, love it!

Is H-E-B Open today? This is the most important question of any Texan’s day wherever you are in Texas, except for those poor souls in West Texas, specifically Hell Paso, but that really doesn’t count because that is practically New Mexico anyways and weird out there, and they have no HEB. Ah yes Fredericksburg HEB. There’s Walmart for groceries, but HEB can’t be beat really with their meats, and produce here in town. They’re the only HEB here and their selection is pretty good, unless you are looking for some off the wall weird stuff. I have been to the one in Kerrville and a lot of stuff there they don’t have but this one does and this one seems a little bit larger than that one. The only complaint I have about this one is some of the kids working the register are quite damn rude. I don’t expect to have a conversation like with a best friend or some long lost war buddy from Korea, but damn at least acknowledge a «good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening». I can see once in a while getting someone that had a bad day but many times I’ve passed through here and gotten looks that kill and no replies to my greetings. They give you their standard ‘did you find everything?” I guess they’re supposed to say, but damn you would think I murdered their dogs in cold blood or something. The workers in the back and elsewhere have always been very nice and helpful I will praise them much and they deserve to be complimented greatly. Up front it isn’t happening. Also this store is nice and clean, but that might have a lot to do with it being Fredericksburg.

Open until midnight even on New Years Day! Now that’s what I call customer service.

Considering the size of this town H.E.B. supermarket has great assortment of products at a great price. It is a fun place to shop and the hours of operation are fantastic. We just moved from Vermont and the businesses there should learn from this one.

This store is a real cut above other stores in the rural areas, I know what you mean about the Uvalde store… I especially like the produce section in F’Burg, so many organic choices and variety is fantastic. I would like to see HEB lead the way in banning plastic bags, who’s with me?

Yes I am a frequent shopper at HEB… Not much by way of competition. The market for Organic produce foods is small but growing. The wine selection is nearly as vast as the Central Markets in Austin and San Antonio. It’s a pretty good sized HEB for a smaller town. And it’s where everyone meets and greets everyone else on any given day,…Just like grocery stores have always been and should remain to be.

What would a Lil German town be without an HEB. This HEB is really nice, amazing selection on brand products. I am always Satisfied with this Family Owned Chain. A must shop if in the Area.

You have to appreciate the incredible selection that HEB offers. Their store brand products are not only delicious, but innovative and priced below national brands. The wine selection is excellent, as is the meat counter and the bakery/deli. They offer tons of prepared foods for pickup and they always have lots of samples. We miss HEB so much since moving out to Cali. Too bad they aren’t out here.

Wow! This is a big HEB! I like this chain, I’ve shopped in them all over here in Central Texas, and I’ve remained fairly satisfied. As I mentioned, this one is big… it’s one of the super stores. The staff we dealt with were extremely helpful and friendly.

Great Grocery stores. Wish we had them up here in the Dallas area. Such a different atmosphere when you go into one of these.

I was shocked! This is a super nice HEB for Fredericksburg! I was expecting something with a lot less selection. They have a wonderful wine selection. That’s primarily what we were shopping for. But had I known that this HEB had such an extensive selection of everything else, then I wouldn’t have wasted $ 15 on flax seed oil somewhere else in town. I’m glad to know about this store.

One of the better HEB’s i’ve been to. The people who work here are actually friendly and ask if you need help. I like getting the bacon wrapped jalepenos, which they’re usually out of. But the butcher always volunteers to make more. This HEB makes the one in Uvalde look like a Super S.

By far the best place to grocery shop in Fredericksburg. They have a large selection of organic produce and also stock a lot of Central Market products. You can even get authentic Bulgarian yogurt here(no bulgarian feta yet though). And the checkout people don’t even look at you funny(or get mad, like the Walmart checkers) when you bring your own shopping bags or don’t use the plastic produce bags. I can’t tell if the prices are different than at the other stores in town, but for how much I enjoy shopping here it’s worth it.
