Sigh. I hate doing this but… I usually am not a fan of dunkin donuts(if u lived in e. b, nj u knew a better place-mickey’s) I was kid n my dad used to love his coffee and krullers or bear claw or glazed. Me I was a Boston cream, a jelly or remember when dunkin had eclairs? Most locations used to make them on the premises nowadays they are shipped in and have gotten smaller with less filling for a bigger price. They also taste greasy, not soft and you usually end up searching for the filling you thought was in there. I was a coffee drinker for many years, used to love their coffee but now it’s what my friends and I call ‘crunchy” coffee. I don’t usually put alot of sugar in it, if it’s good coffee doesn’t need it. Well that being said they put too much sugar in it and your mixer straw makes a crunchy sound when it hits the bottom of the cup. I used to love the coolata’s same thing, you have to melt the sugar with something hot before you put milk n ice etc in cup. Duh! Now I’ve been to so many locations thru the years and it’s the same at every location. I called up customer service one day and she sounded like she was appalled at what I was telling her, ironically she asked me location and I said all of them. I really think thru the years it’s just gotten so. ick…they forgot how decent they used to be and it became all about they money and the quantity of pushing product out the door. I’m just saying…

Do I still need to explain my Dunkin obsession at this point? I think not, but I will. Where there’s a Dunkin there’s a Jackie that will be going to it. I mean my friend even included that she lived near this Dunkin in our chain of emails before I came to visit. My friends just know it’s a necessity at this point. I’m ok with it! Anyway this place was great & served its purpose. I got my iced coconut coffee & it was made just the way I like it with no errors. Until we meet again, thanks for the iced coffee that made my trip to the beach that much more enjoyable!

This is the only Dunkin in the area that I will go to. Great customer service and speed of orders. The ones around this one… the one on 524&9 as well as the one in the mall are terrible. Always get my order wrong.

I was really psyched when this place first opened years ago. Over time, I feel this place has gone downhill. I think the owner doesn’t care about this place. This place is sloppy and the workers are inexperienced and don’t care. I know this doesn’t seem much but DD has a promotion where you can get a free donut if you buy a medium beverage after filling out a survey at the bottom of the receipt. There’s usually a survey code. For a LONG time, there wasn’t any. I would ask and would get a shrug. 2 years later, the code finally shows up. Even though I live closer to this DD, I find myself going to other DDs. As the previous poster said, the owner’s got to do something about this place. Oh! One more thing. One time, I had ordered a bagel with cream cheese and asked for it cut in half. They told me that they are not allowed to cut sandwiches in half. Wonder why? The other DDs did it with no problem. I also asked for a plastic knife and they said that they don’t carry it. Hmmmmm…

I’m a brand loyalist and it’s a good thing because if it were not for the coffee, I would avoid this place like the plague. Filthy sidewalk in front of the store is always covered with cigarette butts and other trash. You are guaranteed to see a few employees standing at the side door smoking… do they wash before handling the food? Inside is marginally better– still very dirty though. There is usually a line of patrons 3 – 5 deep and regardless of how many employees are behind the counter, they are always working in slow motion… what the hell, they are stuck there all day anyway so what is the rush. I’m always rewarded for my effort to go in by escaping with my «Lrg blk decaf 2 sugars»…dont dare to try anything else. Thankfully this DD is an anomoly; but it is all about location location location. I just can’t drive all the way up Rt. 9 or the other side of Englishtown, so this is my only option… Ownership needs to care about it or it will only get worse.
