Starbucks

Similar to other Starbucks locations. Very friendly staff and quick service! The line was pretty long but the workers know how to get the orders going. This location is in a big strip mall so good place to stop by after you do some grocery shopping, got your nails done or after grabbing lunch

You just love the places that feel like home. Sure it’s SB but I come here a lot passing through Freehold. I;ve known several generations of staff and as you’d expect, SB does a great job finding people compatible with the culture.
The service is always great. Never shy about making a speciality drink for the coffee lover in me, read pour-​over Sumatra black. I do enjoy the turkey bacon egg white thingies… quality calories after a bit of training.
The seats are designed to make you not want to stay too long and the winters in NJ at any SB let in the punishing biting cold. Warmer weather, nice sidewalk seating overlooking the parking lot. Hey ya can’t have it all. Otherwise all good, always happy to pop in and see the locals.
Do be careful though walking the sidewalk to Hallmark. I have no idea why but people have somehow jump the curb and driven their car into that store multiple times. As of this reviews’ date, the windows are still boarded up. I do hope they took a selfie for their Facebook wall of shame.

I do wish it was bigger, but that’s my only concern!

Usually Starbucks is very good. They have lots of flavors and all of them or very delicious. There baked treats are very well made and very good. However there staff is another story. They are usually always rude and give me an attitude. I went to get a frap and I asked for it with no coffee and soy milk. When I got my frap I was expecting it with no coffee and soy like I had said., but when I took a sip it tasted of coffee. Now that didn’t bother me as much but you should know that I am highly allergic to dairy. I did not eat anything that day except for the frap and when I got home I started throwing up and I had a stomachache for the rest of the night. The person who made my drink put in everything I said not to and if you are allergic to dairy I suggest you not depend that it won’t Have any milk in it.

Wow. Usually they have a really nice staff here, at least in the morning when I use to stop by on my way to work the staff was nice. Today I stopped by midday, around 1:30pm, totally different staff and the barista was really rude. First, I waited for my drink about 10 minutes, she made it out of order, until I started feeling faint standing there waiting very pregnant. The drink was not to the top of the cup so I asked her if she could fill up the cup, if I wanted a tall I would have paid for a tall. So at first she glared at me, then took off the top and threw it on the dirty counter, and proceeded to make the remainder of my drink. After she was done she grabbed the old top with reminents of someone’s coffee, from the counter, and put it on top of my drink. yuck! I took off the top left it on the service area, as a thank you, and took a new one. When I got in the car and tried my green tea frappichino it tasted like over sweetened chalk, most disgusting drink I’ve ever had from a Starbucks… really gross! This one experience with the young emo barista ruined all the great previous experiences I had at this place. She is a real liability to this company!

Parking is tight, pretty small, not a lot of room to study,

The worst in the area. I’ve watched them be nice to a few customers and ignore others completely. They’ve messed up my order several times. How do you get Trenta unsweetened green tea wrong especially when I order it several days a week?

Worst Starbucks I have been to. Staff was rude, didn’t even say hello to us. The drinks weren’t made right (my wife is a partner) at all, and the place was filthy.

It’s Starbucks. You know where you are going and you know what you are getting. However, it’s hit or miss with the staff here. They are either amazingly friendly, or have no clue what they are doing.
If you have never been here before, be very cautious in the parking lot-​particularly during the day. People tend to go a lot faster than is necessary and there is no clear way of getting in or out. The size of it is not too bad, though.
There is decent seating both indoors and out, and also a GameStop and Hallmark store in this mini-​mall.
I have never seen the place dirty, but the staff turnover is very frequent, thus my original statement about the staff being hit-​or-​miss.
Truthfully, I prefer the Howell location better. But it’s Starbucks, so if I am in Freehold, I’ll stop.

It’s 8:00pm and we are close by, in need of coffee and our son wh missed dinner is hungry. We hit up this Starbucks and order our coffees. Our son grabs one of the sandwiches from the fridge and the kid behind the counter tells him «he can’t heat it up. The ovens are off for the night now» Really? That is the first time I’ve ever encountered that at any Starbucks. I never knew that the dining world comes to a crashing halt at 8 pm !!! For that matter. I didn’t know microwaves get shut off!!! Stick with the one by Barnes and Noble, they seem to have their sh*t together there.

I really don’t understand the low rating for this location. It’s a pretty decent sized Starbucks, service is fast, menu is the same as any other location, ample outlets for running electronics.
There’s plenty seating indoors and there is limited seating outside. Parking is more than adequate in this busy mini-​shopping plaza across from TD Bank and right next to the hospital.
I’m not a big Starbucks snob but this location never served me wrong…

If you want to find the loudest employee on the planet, and get nothing done or get a headache because she can’t stop screaming, this is the place for you.

This Starbucks is literally my home away from home. I hit it going to and coming from work. The staff is super friendly, remembers your order and is the best around in terms of starbucks.

This is your typical Starbucks in suburban America. It is located in a parking lot adjacent to a supermarket and right next door to a GameStop and Hallmark off a main road on the way to the local Freehold Raceway mall. Nearby coffee competition from Dunkin Donuts and Panera.
Menu: same as everywhere else. They are currently promoting the Christmas blend, Caramel Brulee Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Mocha. Good selection of food items. Drinks are prepared well.
Ambiance: when you enter the door, there are large displays of for-​sale items along the wall and in the center of the store. To the right, there are about 4 – 5 tables and comfortable chairs for sitting along the window. There are also about 4 – 5 smaller, round tables to the back of the store near the bathrooms. There are a couple of outdoor tables.
Wireless is free and the connection is good. Limited electrical outlets for plugging in your laptop. Some people come to sit and do work here, but there is also a large number of patrons that come in for coffee-​to-​go, especially during the lunch hours.
Staff: very friendly. I saw someone spill coffee on themselves and the staff immediately ran over with some ice for the person’s hand. You don’t see that everywhere!
Plenty of parking!
If in the area, I would definitely come back. And since there are limited coffee shops where you can sit and do work and get free wifi in this area, that is definitely an attraction.
