Went in for a few drinks, they said they don’t have a bathroom for customers. I don’t understand how you could have many tables for dinner seating and not have a bathroom.

Been coming here for 10 years and by far Atlantic Pizzeria & Restaurant is the BEST pizzeria in Freeport. Service is always outstanding and they always greet my family and myself by first name with a smile. The Sicilian pie is definitely the best around. I tried almost everything on the menu and this point and never been disappointed. If you haven’t tried Atlantic Pizzeria & Restaurant, it’s a must if you are in the area.

While I enjoy the food somewhat. Pizza is ok, the chicken parm is better. The counter guy(def not the owner) is as rude as they get. Not even a thank you when he slams your change back on the counter. He always comes across as he can’t be bothered.

Rip off. 4 slices and 2 sodas for $ 15? Pizza is mediocre at best. The server was rude. He tossed the pizza down like it annoyed him that he offered to bring it to the table. Never again. $ 1 pizza places in Manhattan have it all over this place for far better a bargain.

My helper and I stopped in for lunch on Tuesday. From the minute I walked in I had a good feeling about the place. There was so many choices of homemade rolls, rice balls, pizza and so on. I ended up getting a slice of grandma and a rice ball called Franks chop meat rice ball. The grandma was delicious and very fresh from the cheese to the sauce to the bread. The Rice ball was amazing I had recently seen a episode on the food channel that guy went to this place with similar Rice balls. This place should of been on the show instead of the other place. The Rice ball was huge and the marinara sauce was really good and definitely a great sauce. The man behind the counter was very friendly and service was quick. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

Regular cheese pizza is exceptional. Other items on the menu are below average. The owner seems to go out of his way to be rude to patrons.

Service is ok, set up of that display case sucks, it’s like you’re trying to put in your order and have to shout so they can hear you, stand on your toes and im not a short person either, in order to see the person you’re placing your order to. I have had the meatball hero, looks amazing, totally tasteless. I dont go here anymore, pricey and not even friendly. I highly recommend bonbinos in Oceanside and touch of italy in Baldwin!

Horrible experience. The front counter person was extremely rude. I order 2x slices of pizza and asked for a cup of water. He said this restaurant does not give out free cups of water. He then walked over to my table and told me it would be 10 $ and I had to pay. Pizza tasted like butter and did not have any flavor. The owner should go to his restaurant and do some quality control on his product. I have been going inbetween Atlantic and Montana’s pizza for years. I will never go back to Atlantic again.

Dont know how this place plans on staying open. I ordered a scilian slice. The bottom was done but the top half was a soggy dough with acidic sauce and some kind of cheese. Of course 2 hours later I had heartburn. I also ordered a calzone, it was small and filled with more stringy chees then ricotta. I also ordered a rice ball. The rice tast old since it was dried out and it was to parmesany tast and had a nickel size fill of meat. They have a menu a mile long but dont mention the price for a slice, go figure… The ambience is confusing and it is a very tight. It is a small place with jazz music to loud to talk and the tables are crammed to close so people tend to dole over your food and want to take the salt shaker off your table, thats how confusing the place is, not to mention them bumping into you or waving there butt in your face as they squeeze by to sit next to you. There are two small tables outside but you may have a car park right in front of you and the outside needs a good sweeping. I just dont understand how the owner expects to pay his bills. They also have many items in a display case non refrigerated with pizzas of all toppings as well as stuff that should not be out on the counter. There is so much stuff in the display case it give the appearance of a deli, but who would order that stuff is beyond me. With the hundreds of pizza holes in the area, go somewhere else. I will not return

it saddens me to see the reviews below. I have tried all of the pizza places in the area and after I found Atlantic… I never turned back. ok ill give you the water complaint, but the food here is great and fresh. Staff is overly friendly to me as a regular, and the pizza is great. Try a sesame crust. If a back massage is what you are looking for in a pizza place then go else ware.

I have been eating pizza from here for 10 years and never had a bad experience. Even chicken parm Heros are good. Pasta dishes aren’t great but not a place to grab a slice and go!

Probably the worst pizzeria I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately the food taste semi-decent which is why they’re even still in business, I’m sure, but the quality of the food is beyond disgusting. You can clearly tell by just looking at the plethora of food in the display case that it’s been there way longer than it should be. The foods they serve are the furthest thing from authentic, home cooked, Italian food. I can guarantee that anyone who really knows what quality Italian food is, is never eating here. Last summer I had taken a chance and ordered ravioli. The ricotta was very noticeably rotten and sour. They try to drench it in their cheap, raw tasting tomato sauce but even that couldn’t cover up the taste of bad cheese. A few weeks later I spoke to another Freeport resident that happened to have the same exact experience so I’m sure this is something that happens quite often. That same visit, my daughter had ordered a dish with sausage and it was so dried out from being old and reheated way to many times that it was actually hard and crumbly. Yesterday, out of convenience and with the hope that they made some changes in the last year, we went there again and just ordered two slices. Within an hour I had heartburn and unbearable indigestion. I figured it was just because it’s been a while since I had pizza and my body just wasn’t used to it. My daughter at that point felt fine. Come 4am and sure enough my daughter started vomiting non-stop. It’s now almost 8am and she’s still in the bathroom, 4 showers later. They’re food is just as gross as the things I’ve seen in the last 4 hours. Stay away. Far away. No exaggeration.

The best Italian food in Freeport hands down. Raimo’s is overrated. If you want Real Italian food eat here. Only down side is that their slices are not fresh but if you order a entire pie it is AMAZING. Also staff is not very friendly with their new customers would only recommend for takeout. If you decide to eat in and Nona is in you are in for a treat she will make sure you come out satisfied and full.

If you are looking for authentic pizza, forget this place. It’s like the second rate pizza joints found on every corner, only more expensive, and less friendly. Tinny tasting sauce, rubbery cheese, doughy crust. Yuck.

The worst pizza in NY possible. Gross, not fresh, they put zero effort into this place. The only reason they are in business if because its around the corner from people who(like me) don’t know any better or are to lazy to drive two more minutes and get better pizza at Ramones. I have no idea how this place is still operating. Its that bad.

just returned from ordering a meatball parmigiani hero. menu states $ 7.35. I was charged $ 9.50! When I returned home and called about it… the girl who answered the phone said…“prices have changed… sorry about that!” Well, if the prices have changed then you need to changed the menu! I would never have spent almost $ 10 for a very average almost tasteless hero, and would have gone somewhere else. The only reason I went there was because it was close by, and I didn’t feel like traveling. Well my laziness cost me a lesson! I intend to report this to the attorney general. I’m guessing no one has noticed enough to bring it to their attention. This is sneaky and underhanded. In addition, I have tried other entrees and hero’s there before… the taste sure as heck does not justify the price.

Very strange local pizzeria. Does not serve water with food forcing you to purchase a beverage. Has a 12.95 pizza special which is rather expensive. Food is about average nothing special here.

Was shocked at the quality and freshness of this food… Awful. My friend and I ordered the Fried Calamari, Shrimp Parmigiana sandwich and Lasagna(meat). Nothing tasted«fresh» as if it was just cooked? The sauce had absolutely no flavor just tasted like a weird tomato sauce and the supposedly«jumbo shrimp» were heavily breaded and the lasagna was just pitiful. I wanted to give a good rating but, I have to be honest** :-/Never again…
