Well, whether or not you are offered a sample upon entering the store probably depends on how you look: if you look like you might be a high roller, then a sample is kindly offered. On the other hand, if you aren’t dressed to the hilt and carrying a designer bag, then you can roam around all you want, but the clerk isn’t going to offer you a sample. Hmmmmmm. Personally, I’d rather spend my money in places that are equally friendly to all customers. I’ll take my dollars elsewhere. They bill themselves as a factory outlet, but I have never seen any«seconds» anywhere in the store. Maybe they are hidden? Prices certainly don’t seem less than other retail chocolate shops. They have sales, but regular prices are full retail. Sales don’t kick in until you spend a lot.

I have a big sweet tooth, and when I saw the sign for this store, I had to come in. This is an outlet store for Lindt. Along with the full line of chocolate offerings from Lindt, the also sell discontinued items at a significant mark down. What I like is the sold their factory seconds of their chocolates. What they were selling at my visit was a white chocolate filled Lindor balls. These were considered rejects because of cosmetic reason: pattern on the balls very irregular, balls not perfectly round, some dents, etc. Sold bulk unwrapped in large plastic balls. Had samples of them, and hey, still taste the same, just not perfectly round. Who cares, taste all the same one inside my mouth. They also sold some wrapped Lindor balls in bulk as well. I bought a pound of the wrapped dark chocolate Lindor balls for $ 5.00. Great deal considering that normally they are $ 0.50 retail, and a pound contains about 40 balls(do the math!). Worth carrying with me back on the plane. Should have bought more, because my coworkers ate most of them.
