They have a good menu with very reasonable prices. We went in about an hour before the grill shut down and we were greeted by and well taken care of by Kelli. I would recommend asking for her if you want great, quick and friendly service. As a matter of fact, a man came in as the grill was shutting down and Kelli happily took his order and served him like time was no issue. The food was fresh and tasty. You can’t beat the Thursday night $ 9.9914oz ribeye special. They were cooked perfect and they were delicious!

I don’t know if they have actual broasters or not but if I order broasted chicken, I expect to get it – and not fried chicken. There is a difference. It tasted good and I’d consider getting it again but… if your menu says broasted, you better have broasted. The cheese curds were great for an appetizer and my friend got a grilled chicken sandwich and he thought it was just as good this time as the first time he got it. It looked delicious(Maybe I’ll have that next time!!) I’m kind of «meh» about their décor. It looks like they took a big empty room and half filled it with restaurant furniture. It’s just… not inviting. The server was okay — no mistakes, attentive.

The place was nice for a small town bar and grill. The problem was that 2 of us who dined there got sick a few hours after eating. We ordered steak sandwiches. The food was good but we both had the same rancid side effects for about a day. The waitress gave us an attitude when we showed her that there was food stuck in between the forks. What a disappointment. I wanted to stop there on the way to Galena regularly since the food was good. But it’s not worth ruining a weekend getaway. Get some immodium AD if you wanna venture out and try this place.
