Make sure to call the place first before ordering for pick up. I was so bummed out yesterday. This is what happened, I was home sick & craving for some filipino dish. I’ve been wanting to go to Adobolicious because of good reviews but just didn’t get a chance. So I looked up with Unilocal of course, it says its open so I ordered food for pick up. Oh geez, to my surprise, it was closed. Poor sick woman! I also got a text from«eat24» that they’ve trying to contact Adobolicious but to no avail. You know how many days to put your money back in your account? 5 days! I’m serious, no kidding! So call ahead!

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I called the place at 7 asking what time were they closing and was told 830. I rush to the place and get there at 8 and the door is closed. The owner of the place blatantly ignored us the whole time we were in front of the place. Never had customer service like this before. Please save some your money and go somewhere else where they value their customers.

The Canton was very greasy, and I am from the south and I have had some oil slicked food and this was too much for me. But the other dishes we had were pretty good.

Bought a deal from Groupon for this restaurant. We went there and it was closed. We got disappointed coz’ we came from Morgan Hill area so you understand how far of a drive that is just to try this resto. After a month we tried this place again and this time the door was open and we came in but got yelled at and was told it’s still closed and they’ll serve at 2pm. They should notify and post it on Unilocal or Groupon not on a piece of paper on the door. If they’re going to be close that day or if there is a delay they should at least notify. It’s annoying to drive 2 hours in traffic just to be told the 2nd time they are closed. My husband is completely pissed off coz’ we couldn’t get a refund from Groupon for this! Annoying! «Review for the 3rd visit» Since I can’t get a refund. We tried to go again. All we can say is it’s ok. Food is typical Filipino nothing so special about it that we would go back. Not saying their food is bad, it was ok. Reminded me of what my yaya would make. Their pancit was full of celery, not much of cabbage and carrots. Their lumpia was good and for its price it was worth every penny though we only got 12pcs. instead of the 15pcs. The burrito was ok, but if you are used to Mexican burritos please do not compare it as it is unique as its own. The lechon kawali, it’s typical. Reminds me of what they have at Goldilocks. The kare-kare was good, though I advice you to just stay with the oxtail, don’t overwhelm yourself on the bagnet. I had bagnet in the Philippines in a food convention and it was meatier, this one had very thin meat, It was very fatty. Their place is a bit overwhelming and unorganized. Needs a bit of cleaning too. One great thing I can say is those two boys,(I think their parents or uncle owns it) who serve the food are polite, responsible and very nice. We need more youth like them.

Sandwiched between a stereo store and I think a t mobile store. This is definitely a hole in the wall place but I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered lumpia as a appetizer and I had chicken adobo which came with rice. The chicken was very tender and fall off the bone. Seasoning was delicious albeit a little salty. There are a ton of tiny bones from cutting the chicken so be careful if you order this. Portion size was great and I have enough for dinner lately that night. Lumpia was tasty too, seasoned meat with sweet and sour sauce on the side and served on a bed of spinach. You get quite a few with an order. Parking was easy. Bathrooms were clean. Service was alright, food took awhile and our server only refilled our water as we were paying the tab.

Saw the reviews on burritos. Came on a Thursday night and they were out of burritos! It wasn’t very busy either. Restaurant cleanliness was just«okay». Service was average. The nice older lady was kind though I had to repeat my order three times due to hard of hearing. Probably not going to come back.

Authentic Filipino food! A hole in the wall, but food is great, reasonably priced, and service is good. My second time here and will come back again. Get a deal from Groupon and try it out.

I bought a groupon and thought I’ll try this restaurant out. Unilocal looks okay. When we went there, the host was a bit rude, but fine, we were okay with that since the other waiters seem pretty friendly. We placed our order and later was told they ran out of the appetizer, so we replaced it with another dish, and they came back telling us it’s out as well. So then we ordered the shanghai lumpia. We never got our water until we asked another waiter after sitting there for a while. When the food came, half of he lumpia dish was still raw. I had to cut into every single one to make sure it’s cooked before eating it. How can you make lumpia raw. The rest of the food we ordered weren’t that good. We barely ate and just pretty much left in 15 mins. We’re disappointed with the service and food and wouldn’t be coming back.

Lunch was supposed to be fish but was a deep fried overcooked chewy layer of batter in all 3 pieces. My friend burrito was filled with rice and very little else. Sad sad lunch today. I went and got a Subway sandwich after I threw mine away. Greasy greasy greasy!

So, I purchased 2 Groupon for this place because the pix looked good. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t like adobo. We get there and there’s no one there but the chef, who is the host and the waitress. The food is good but overpriced. Service sux. My son wanted mango smoothie but couldn’t have it because she didn’t know how to work the machine. We wanted to tokwa(tofu) baboy but they didn’t have tofu. I wanted diet soda but they didn’t have any. They had a few items on appetizers but told that the only thing they had was lumpia WTH! On the hand, my son loves the idea of adobolicious burrito. The crispy Pata was good. I most likely would not suggest the place nor would I go back. FAIL!

2nd time from this place that they took my order over the phone, and when I drive across town to pick up that they have not even started the order! Tonight I called at 545p to order 3 rice plates, an order of fried rice, pinakbet and two orders of lumpia. The lady over the phone said«oh its gonna take until 645p». I thought to myself, wow 1hour? Really? Ok. I’ll wait. Right there I should have known… 645p comes and my family is hungry waiting, so I drive to pick it up. Walk in thinking maybe its crowded Not! So I walk up to where you pick up the food, the rude olé’ lady asks my order and takes the ticket to the kitchen area. Then she comes back and says they have not started it. WHATTHE??? So disappointed I left. Never again… if I could rate below or negative I would. Bad experience 2x = never dealing with them ever! Stay away from this place and choose another better filipino restaurant that cares. Boo.

WOW! As picky as I am on Filipino food I gotta say this place has some HELLA bomb ass good food!!! To those who have given a bad review… give em another shot! You’re missing out!!! They are a small and newer business… give em a lil time to work out the small stuff like customer service. The customer service we got was a hell of a lot better than I’ve had in a long time at any restaurant! Kare Kare and sweet pork with garlic rice was freakin delicious!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Ordered a sisig burrito and a chicken adobo burrito. Old lady that was working the tables was extremely rude and had some shi7y customer service when we first placed our order. We finally got our to-go order after waiting 30 minutes. During the wait, when we tried to check up on the order, the old hag was extremely rude, and with an attitude says«i don’t know how long, a while». Now, what kind of shi7 answer is that, we were already waiting for 25 minutes. Once we finally got our order, it was wrong– a box of sisig and one burrito. Rather than complain and deal with a longer wait, and especially the piss-poor customer service of the Wicked Old Witch of the Far-East, we decided to say«fluck this place and that old lady; I’ll just write a review». I seriously thought menopause was done once you enter your dunosaur years. Unfortunately, as I know it shouldn’t have, she had an effect on me, and sent me home in a bad mood. So Unilocalers, if you go to Adobolicious, bring your wooden stakes, your holy water, and wear garlic around your neck, because this biotch will suck the happiness out of your soul! LOL. Ahhhh, now that venting session makes it a little better!

Was craving Filipino food as I don’t get it all the time. I work in the Newark Area and came across Unilocal review for this place. Was a little hesitant based on the stars, but I have to tell you that this place is pretty darn Yummy. Tosilog and Longisilog were delicious. Garlic fried rice spot on! Sisig is excellent! Definitely will be back to this place. Excellent and kind service. Kudos. So hard to find a Filipino restaurant for good food. I usually drive to SSF to get food.

Nothing better than filipino food buffet on a Sunday afternoon and we’ve been on a hunt for a satisfying one for days! Finally decided to come by here. We heard they used to be owners of another joint in Union City a while back that we liked. First of all the first thing you see is a sign that says«Please wait to be seated» then we looked around for a server and saw another sign that says«Please seat yourself.» Okay, at this moment I was literally confused. An older lady had acknowledged our presence and said we will be seated right away, so that was a plus. Waited for about 10 minutes. Bistek and Menudo was really delicious, however I didn’t care for the others. They had tinola, fried daing, pinakbet, adobo, grilled pusit i believe. They serve ginataan bilo bilo for dessert but at 1:45 it was gone and they weren’t planning on refilling. Not so bad experience but I suggest you come early so they dont run out of food on you. It runs from 12−3pm.

The thing about Filipino restaurants is I’m almost punished for not knowing how to cook my own food being Filipino and all. I called in and picked up and was told it would take 20 minutes, but it really ended up being like 45. 3 stars for being conveniently located. Okay, but 15 bucks for beefsteak, which is just meat, onions and soy sauce? Cmon.

Omg. I’ve been here twice & I’m never disappointed! It’s a hole in the wall place with a small parking lot. It’s a pretty big place with television & quick service! Sat down with my friends & I ordered the super sisig burrito, which is sisig(chopped meat) garlic rice, sour cream, cheese & mango pico de gallo. I also added a sunny side up egg! ORDERIT! It reminded me of Senior Sisig… But I love how the sisig was extra vinegar-y. All the flavors melted together & my taste buds were satisfied. A good call with the egg :) I also came for the Sunday buffet! Good price with the selections available… & desserts! I’ve followed this family owned business from Union City to here & I’m glad they’re still in business!

5 stars for customer service: bobby and his wife are super nice and the most hard working people I know! There’s an old lady who’s always there too. Their mom I think? She always smiles at me. Super cute. Unfortunately, their food is between and 3 and 3.5 stars. The food carries a homemade taste to me like it came from mom’s kitchen. However, the biggest issue I have with this place is lack of consistency! Some days it’s really good, but other days it majorly lacks flavor, as if it was made in a hurry. The buffet on sundays isn’t bad either. Pretty reasonable for the amount and selection of dishes. They’re the definition of a local business so I like to support them and come here once in a while.
