Alliance Imaging MRI Center

This is a «class act». The front desk is friendly and helpful, allaying concerns and fears. The procedure itself is simple; lie down on a table and think happy thoughts as you listen to the rhythm of the MRA machine. I was in «the tube» on Wednesday and when I called today (Friday) the results were all ready. Julie helped by faxing the report to one of my doctors for my appointment today so that he could explain the results.
While no one enjoys having medical problems, this team takes the stress out of the testing.

Alliance is a chain of diagnostic imaging facilities across the country, with their Fremont center located inside Washington West (across the street from the main Washington Hospital and the Fremont BART station). Large parking lot and easy to locate at the intersection of Mowry Ave and Civic Center Dr. The building houses a variety of clinics and services, including an outpatient urgent center and the diagnostic labs for outpatient bloodwork. The Alliance MRI center is located at the end of the hallway in suite 170.
I’ve had a few MRI scans («studies») performed here, as has family and friends. Appointments are usually available within the week, and with increasing demand, they’ve extended hours to early evening and Saturday slots. This makes scheduling relatively handy, although this facility owns only one 1.5T MRI unit. As a result, I’ve found appointments can run late (sometimes by quite a bit) as this lone instrument is shared with hospital inpatient and urgent commitments — so it may be helpful to call just before your scheduled slot as their phone support is quite helpful.
Modern/​updated waiting area and changing rooms, technologists are helpful and patient. The Imaging Library is located next door to the facility, so patients can pick up a copy of their MRI (or other) images without additional fees.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan and Kimberly in the MRI imaging department the other day. Upon arrival they greeted us promptly and they were very professional yet friendly. I had never been to an MRI before and I found it very interesting.
Being curious as usual and wanting to learn more about MRI’s I asked Ryan a bunch of questions. And he answered every one of them with such knowledge and enthusiasm. He thoroughly explained everything from protons and the mechanics behind an MRI to what I could expect to see visually on the MRI and what it could be indicative of. I was very impressed.
They’re mastery of the subject matter and exceptional patient care and bed side manner was very impressive. Patients can expect to be in good hands under their care.
