The workers here are rude. I walked in more than ten minutes before closing time and the server kept on waving everyone out after me saying «excuse me we’re closed» and kicking out customers sitting down to eat, and ordering people who were walking in that they had to leave. Plus the bathrooms were filthy. Not customer friendly whatsoever.

Decent size location for a quick cup of ice cream. Most people get their ice cream to go or enjoy it at the small tables that are placed against the wall.
I came when there was only one other customer today. I ordered a cheesecake fantasy on a waffle bowl. The staff was quick and smiled whenever we made eye contact. She was also very friendly when I requested different samples of their ice cream.

Shoutout to all the folks in the trenches of quick serve restaurants who treat everyone who walks in the door like a VIP!
I stopped in here for a treat after a particularly long day at work. Start to finish — best experience I have ever had at any Coldstone location. The ice cream was amazing of course but what made it exceptional was the staff.
It feels silly to say but such a warm welcome and attentive customer service made me really feel like they cared. I don’t know if ice cream makers care about my long day… and I don’t know if this is a franchise location or a corporate store… but well done to all! If I am gonna drop some dollars on a delicious and gourmet frozen treat I want those dollars going here — this Coldstone is doing it right.

Went in last night and had a blast with the girls working. They suggested a ice cream cake that was off the hook. I will definitely keep going back.

I love cold stone especially the people making the ice cream in front of you they have a bunch of topping & a bunch of ice cream more than cream

Chocolate devotion. yummmmmmyyy! My go to place whenever I’m craving for chocolate ice-​cream.

I took my visually impaired daughter to practice her money skills at Coldstone Creamery.
We were the only ones there.
She placed the order and about 15 minutes later she got her ice cream. Yes — it took 15 minutes for the dude behind the counter to scoop up some ice cream. 15 minutes — no joke!
The total was $ 11.85.
The dude at the counter did not tell her the amount and just stood there: so I spoke up and said «You have to say the amount. Don’t assume that all people can see the cash register. Tell her the amount and she will pay.»
So the dude said «1185» (Yes, that is what he said «One one eight five.» — who talks that way?)
Bewildered I asked him to repeat himself.
So the dude said «Eleven eighty five.»
I spoke up again and said «Is that eleven dollars and eighty five cents?»
and the dude said «yeah»
Then I said «Well why don’t you tell her that instead of just eleven eighty five?»
(I swear to God this guy wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer)
So he did and I helped my daughter figure out the ones and the fives and she handed it to him.
He gave her back 15 cents and she put the change into the tip jar!
This dude didn’t even deserve a tip.
I think the whole transaction took about 15 minutes just to pay! That guy had molasses in his pants — he took his slow A$$ time!

The staff was Friendly… the line was a bit slow .I got chocolate the Gkids got mango and Cotton candy .I probably not go back as it was pricing .
Also the bathroom had no toilet paper

One person working. Music was so loud that we had to yell out our order. When a second employee came in they were yelling back and forth to each other to get their stuff together. Usually this place is great. Today not so much.

The ice cream is great, but when family from out of town and I went to satisfy our ice cream cravings, we saw cockroaches. Yet I still had ice cream from there. But I don’t think I’d like to go back there again

What a wonderful turn around to their customer service and overall cleanliness and presentation. Since my last visit i started frequenting the hub location and great mall location (avoiding this location at all costs) BUT last week I was at target and my cousin really wanted ice cream so we stopped into this store.
I was VERY satisfied with my experience here. The girls Olga and i think Lisa (she didnt have a nametag but that was the name on the receipt so im just assuming) were very cheerful. Singing for tips and just overall friendly. There was a nother guy working. He greeted us when entering but didnt seem as upbeat as the girls. It was crazy busy when we came in. Line was to the door but they were surprisingly calm and seemed genuinely happy for our business.
Tip: store is under new ownership since beginning of this year and new management as well.
Note: This was on Friday night so Your experience will probably be different depending on who serves you of course.

So I came today in hopes to enjoy a morsel of ice cream and well my day became worse and worse…
So we ordered a like-​it size Strawberry Banana Rendezvous and well replaced the ice cream with sweet cream though I wanted to get sinless sweet cream, they don’t have it even though they had a sign for it. When asking the person doing our ice cream about less calorie option she’s like skinny vanilla? I was like… fine we’ll just use sweet cream. When we got and paid our ice cream it was basically a melty milkshake. I was already sad but my boyfriend was adamant to bring it back and get it redone and well we got it fixed. The poor girl was reprimanded by her boss and well in her rush, she didn’t really mix in the mix-​ins well and forgot the one thing that adds that little something-​something to the Strawberry Banana Rendezvous which was the white chocolate chips. Not one in sight.
I keep coming back here just cause it’s convenient, but ice cream is supposed to be a happy experience but I keep finding myself wanting to cry every time.

Ice cream is good but they always have one person working with a huge line… It’s Saturday at 3pm, I don’t get why they wouldn’t schedule more than 1 – 2 people at a time!

Hot for cookie… Never order this!!! All they did was take a piece of cookie and put it in the microwave! I was expecting them to put it in a conventional oven or something… I also order the coffee lovers and the ice cream was so melted… Never coming back

If you want to have your daughter’s birthday ruined, then this Coldstone location is the perfect place for you! How you ask does this Coldstone location at Pacific Commons pull off such a thing? Here’s how:
(1) Place your special ice cream cake order a week in advance. In my case, I ordered the very beautiful Princess Garden Themed Cake for my daughter who turned 5; you know, because this is a very special and important occasion in her life.

(2) You pay for your $ 80 custom cake and specify on the order, the date and time you will pick up the cake.
(3) You show up on the exact date and time of the order (because you had your daughter’s birthday party all planned perfectly), and you’re then presented with an ice cream cake that’s just allllll… wait for it… White frosting. TA-​DAHHH!!! A big ass rectangular cake just covered in white frosting. No color, no décor, no flowers, no princess toys, no happy birthday writing. Nothing. Just WHITE.
(4) Our party was at 1pm in Pleasanton, and I was there at 12pm to pick up the cake. The one and only employee that was there at the store did not know what to do as she was also helping another man that had the SAME issue I did… great job guys! Finally, I had no choice but to leave w/​o a cake since we could not be late for our party (I did get my refund the next day).
Thank you ColdStone Pacific Commons for almost completely ruining my daughter’s special day. Luckily Safeway had some decent ice cream cakes that still made my daughter and friends happy.
PS — Mr. Owner of this Coldstone Pacific Commons location, you seriously need to evaluate how your operation is run.
PPS — Like another reviewer said, I wish I could give ZERO stars.

Got here and had 1 person ahead of us, it took us 20 minutes to get our ice cream! There was another employee in the back and he came out after 10 minutes looked at us and went to the back again! Then we got our ice cream which almost immediately started melting and we weren’t given any napkins, I had to ask 3 times for them and the man working just pointed by the cash register where I then saw the absolutely smallest napkins I’ve ever seen! I will not be coming here again.

If i could i would give them no stars!!! Plain and simple they got roaches!!! I can’t believe this shop is open!!! I have seen more then one by the cash register by the ice cream and one fell out of their caramel bottle to the customer in front of me… EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! VERY DISSAPPOINTED!!!

Dear Owner, please fix your air conditioner. It is not only hot in the store but dirty. Always long lines with sometimes only one worker. Often is out of many toppings and sugar cones and cups. Unacceptable service and store.
Will not be returning, will go to another Cold Stone.

It took 40 min to order an ice cream on Memorial Day afternoon. There were 10 customers before me.
That’s crazy slow. Only one guy worked there. It took him 5 min to serve a customer. Luckily the second person came in later.

Cold Stone Ice so dominates the other ice cream parlors when it comes to flavors and variety. They mix different combinations of ice cream with nuts, candies, fruits and other goodies. On this warm night everyone what happy to purchase the tasty concoctions just to cool down. In Fremont there two Cold Stones, one at the Fremont Hub (wrote a review) and this one at the Pacific Commons.
I ordered the cheesecake with the three different cheesecake ice creams with the fruit. Unfortunately they ran out of the strawberries and blackberries, so the combination only had blueberries. I don’t think blueberries goes well with ice cream, the saving grace was the graham cracker crust.
Next time I’m playing it safe and ordering one of the chocolate concoctions.
