THE. BEST. Bagel place I’ve been to. I am so happy a friend recommended it to me. My boyfriend and I come here for breakfast once a week, however we wish we could come more. I get the egg and cheese on jalapeño cheese and my boyfriend gets ham and cheese on sun dried tomato(with a Hazelnut coffee), they’re perfect EVERYTIME. We usually get them to go and go watch the dogs at the dog park at Lake Elizabeth. It makes for a perfect morning. Great little place. Must try.

Best Bagels in Fremont. Made on premise, boiled, dense and chewy like they should be. They even have pumpernickel!

Just an update on pricing… my 5C turkey croissant sandwich was $ 5.35 after tax… prices have gone up since my review 5 years ago but hey, inflation. Still delicious to boot! :)

Daily Bagel Café does well because it is SIMPLE. The menu is perfectly laid out with combination numbers(Ex. 3C, 12B, etc…) and big pictures of what it looks like. Most recently, they’ve updated these pictures and the menu, while the same essentially, looks better than ever! There is also a huge selection of bagels for your bagel cravings, as well as a decent selection of donuts/pastries. Normally, I go with one of their sandwiches with croissant, and add an egg if it doesn’t already come with one. I think part of the reason I love their sandwiches is that the egg is so creamy/cheesy/full that I can’t help but crave more of it! I could have this any time of the day. My most recent discovery here is that you can actually customize your sandwich for additional charge, however it doesn’t say anywhere how much the extra charge would be. For example, if I wanted to add an egg to a normally egg-less sandwich, I have no idea how much more that would cost me. Seating here is very limited, and the space is small. so if it’s crowded, it can feel very cramped. Usually, their rush is in the morning and around 12:20pm on weekdays where high school kids from Mission San Jose High school will come by. The crowd quickly disperses though, when they return after their lunch is over(around 1pm.) Another thing I noticed after years of frequenting here, I noticed that the prices have been slowly, but surely increasing. I love Daily Bagel Café, but I miss when it used to be much cheaper!

Ok, I’ve checked in 33 times and haven’t written a review! When Mission Coffee was next door, I stopped every day for my latte fix. I noticed someone was always coming or going next door. Years later … Since Daily Bagel is on the way to work, I stopped in 33 times ago looking for something breakfasty. Croissant, egg, cheese & bacon … AKA1C. Hook me up! Croissant is soft & buttery, eggs are moist, cheese is melted, and bacon! $ 4.25 out the door! Friendly & awesome service! Bagels & donuts made on site! My goto when I’m too lazy to make my own bfast sammy!

Sometimes a minor squabble with the wife can lead to a good outcome. We both agreed that coffee would be necessary this morning, but couldn’t agree on food to go with said coffee. «I just think the food at Panera sucks» was my mantra this morning. «Oh yeah, what’s your backup plan? Name a place!» was her response. After fumbling around with the Unilocal App, I find this place with its 220 reviews and four stars. Okay, so we’re in Newark and we’re going to drive across the vast expanse of Fremont, all the way to Mission Blvd just to get a bagel. Why not? It’s a little hole in the wall business, but there’s a line that stretches to the door when we get there. A glance up at the wall reveals an extensive list of sandwiches served on bagels, croissants and bread. We order a couple of different breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese and bacon and grab ourselves the coffee cup labeled«small» which looks exactly the same as the large. The food here was decent, but not spectacular. The service was friendly and came with a smile. I probably wouldn’t drive all the way across town to this place again when I can get bagels much closer to my home. That being said, it was nice to try a new place and more importantly, avoid eating at Panera.

Hooray for the mom and pop bagel operation! Their bagels are miles better than Starbuck’s(located in the same plaza). I liked the amigo bagel, which has some kick from all the jalapenos hidden inside. The coffee is great too! The seating space is a little cramped, so don’t expect to linger. They do have a TV for ball games, but again, you’re not lingering.

Guilty for my love of bagels. I also realized bagels are literally just empty calories of satisfaction. I found this place on Unilocal and came in one morning before my class. They have a wide selection of bagels and sandwiches to choose from(even a strawberry bagel like whaaa!) I ordered a sesame seed bagel with cream cheese bc I’m basic and it was so yummy. I will be back.

I love this place. Their Chocolate Chip Bagel is delicious. I always come here when I think of bagels. Their staff are nice too. They take their orders perfectly, I had never heard a complain that there was something wrong on their bagel. I LOVETHISPLACE!

The best mom and pop bagel shop in the area! I’ve been coming here since high school and I’m so glad it’s still around. Staff is super friendly, they accept credit cards, and there are a gazillion different types of bagels and cream cheeses. You can order any of the sandwiches on a croissant or any type of bagel you want so it’s fun to try out different combos. :)

I was on the look-out for a cheap, quick, great-tasting breakfast. I found Daily Bagel on Unilocal & my husband confirmed, «I know this place. It’s great!» All right so we go & it’s wonderful. I ordered the jalapeño & cheese bagel with egg, cream cheese, and American cheese. Delish. My husband ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. He said it was ok. Overall it was exactly what I was looking for and will go tomorrow morning as well.

Don’t let the donut shop décor fool you, this bagel shop is the ‘have it your way’ destination spot for tourists and locals alike. Even with a line of 4 people deep they were quickly able to take my order and get to the next person behind them. What did I order? 5 breakfast bagels, 2 on jalapeño bagels, 2 on cheese bagels and a peanut butter and jelly strawberry bagel. Monster order? You bet. But for 5 sandwiches and 2 waters the total bill was just over $ 23. Wow! Now some of you reading this might say… that’s a ton of food! Uh huh. Mind your own business.

I’m obsessed with this place. I have been here quite a few times so here are my thoughts: Parking: This place is located in a plaza that has a grocery store so there is plenty of space available. My favorite is the 15 min spot in front of the place. 1 star. Service: They are very busy early in the morning when they open. Otherwise, they typically have 2 – 3 employees working. One at the cash register, one preparing the sandwiches in the back while another employee toasting bagels and putting the orders in the back or keeping the place tidy. It’s a busy place so I don’t expect them to get me out of the door within 5 mins but typical wait is 10 – 20 mins to get your food in the hands of a hungry carnivore. 1 star. Environment: The place isn’t that big but spacious enough to hold a seating area for those wanting to dine in. As mentioned above, they keep the place clean. However, the look isn’t too appealing compared to some modern places. ½ star The food: Every sandwich they have is absolutely very delicious. I cannot elaborate that anymore, you must try those delicious sandwiches(pictures displayed on the wall) before judging it by the picture. Every sandwich they have is amazing unless you have a really bad taste and are customizing your own then I’m sorry but I don’t feel bad for you because you made a poor decision. 1 star. Hours/misc: I have had cravings after their hours and wish they were open for dinner. Yes, this is a breakfast/lunch food but when you hit that spot for cravings you can’t help it. Yadada? ½ star because there’s always room to improve. SYOY!

Good little bagel spot located a bit off the beaten path in Fremont. This is really one of those no frills family owned joints that serves a high quality product and pushes through the crowd quite quickly… The selection of breakfast sandwiches and bagels is actually quite impressive and the cream cheese is pretty flavorful. Ordered a wheat bagel, toasted with some cream cheese and was pleased with the taste/freshness. Overall, a nice breakfast option if you’re in a hurry. Pros– Selection Freshness Overall taste Price Parking Beverage selecrion Cons– Off the beaten path Service is just meh Can get really crowded Interior leaves a bit to be desired

Came by for a quick breakfast the other day. This non-descipt bakery is located to the left of Lucky grocery store. The interior is dated and the menu is on the wall… There was a minimal wait upon arrival. Staff was friendly and was able to put together the order in ~5−10 minutes Sausage croissant was decent. It was fresh… although I’m sure the sausage part was frozen. The egg was probably microwaved?!? They do accept credit cards for purchases over $ 5, otherwise a surcharge applies!

I just love this place! A super convenient bagel spot with lots of delicious options. I always go for the jalapeño cheese bagel with plain cream cheese. So simple. So good. They have a variety of bacon and egg sandwiches on bagels or croissants, etc. The customers rave about those, but I’ve honestly never had one. Also, the other day, I saw they had a spinach cream cheese options. How great would a sourdough bagel with that cream cheese be? Oh I can’t wait to go back to check it out!

I understand why this place had such good reviews. Listen. This place is delicious! I told my best friend that we needed to go here today and try it out because I had only seen it on Unilocal. It was totally worth it. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant for 3.50… that croissant was so full and buttered the top mmmmmmmmmm makes you wanna shake someone. Ordered a blueberry bagel not sure how much it was and a little tub of cinnamon shmear that was only 1.60… such a good price for it. I added two packets of raw sugar into my shmear and stirred it up because I was kinda wanting a sweet tasting topping. This is a small location with a couple tables. Three fridges with drinks in them, everything from waters to milks and sodas. It can be cold when you have a jerk on his cell phone holding the door open and facing out for a couple minutes like I did, but I’m sure that a rare thing lol. Staff was really polite, the gentleman at the front was great. This is definitely a place that has the taste down, go to it.

We were up here visiting some friends for the weekend & stopped by here for breakfast before we took off. Very casual — obviously family owned, but do not underestimate! They have a wide selections of bagels & cream cheeses that are made in house at a great price! So sad I didn’t get to try their jalapeño bagel or cream cheese :(they sold out by the time we got there which was around 11 or so… Wompis! I got the turkey bagel sandwich with cream cheese added to it and OMG dat shit was delish. My boyfriend got the croissant sandwich, but I personally liked the bagel sandwich better. I also got the blueberry bagel with regular cream cheese for a little sweet, but to my disappointment I didn’t get as much blueberry flavor as I would’ve liked. Maybe next time I’ll do blueberry cream cheese on blueberry bagel :)
