This place used to be good. My kids loved the mini ghee idlis here. But the past couple visits have not been a good experience. They have been reheating food and serving. Idlis were stale and hard. Despite sending the first batch back, the second batch was the same. The waiters agreed that the idlis were reheated. The rest of the food has also deteriorated in quality.

This is my 2nd time and trying out their Papdi poppers and samosas. Eating some clean street foods. THEY have downsized their menu too, a lot of appetizers, individual chinese, food and some modern comfort foods. Paprika poppers are good for a snack. And these are great for 2 or more people. The waiter was patient to inform what chutneys go for the samosas. Great Indian street food to try out. I will come back to try other stuff.

Meh. Everything is just ok — nothing that will make me want to go back again. There are way better restaurants in Fremont than this one

1* for being a vegetarian restaurant & decent service… Food is downright avoidable. The paratha’s taste like nothing. Their special paneer makhani is too sweet. The portion for channa is too small. Basically we all had to struggle to finish the food… not because of the volume but because of the poor taste. If you can tolerate a place that makes non-veg food also, go around the corner to Lotus express(next to cine grand). Their naan’s are cheaper and taste better and their subzis taste way better. Really good in fact, that we ordered for a party. I had reviewed earlier about Chaat House in sunnyvale(el camino/wolfe). Taste their parathas and subzis. Then you will realize how pathetic go chaatzz is.

We catered from Go Chaatz this weekend for a party of 40 people. We had the Bhatura party. Loved the following things about them 1. Añu — the owner is passionate about the work and takes every effort to make the experience fantastic for you. Always picked up my calls and was very acoomodative to our needs. 2. Food — the food is fresh, cooked to order, tasty and my guests loved every dish. Pani Poori, Bhel puri, Bhatura(cant ask for better), Gobi munchurian(the best), Falooda desert. 3. Service — the two cooks who came home took fantastic care of my guests and stayed overtime until my guests left. 4. Cleanliness — they came home and setup the food and left with no trace of a party afterwards. Through the entire process they were clean and tidy. Overall an excellent experience and I will cater from them again. We also had them give us lunch and dinner for my guests on the days following the party. The following dishes we fantastic Tomato rice, Potato, Bean poriyal, Applam, Pickle, Curd rise, Bisebela.

Decent Indo-Chinese, eat it hot while you are there. We ordered Haka noodles it had little too much oil. Prathas are pretty good. I would go again.

Have been to Go Chaatzz exactly twice. First time was an experiment, second time cuz Bae had a craving. One thing which has consistent — Service is slow. I have eaten chaatzz here — average. Bhel puri was completely off. They do good Americanized versions of Indo-Chinese food(I know it sounds strange, really strange). That translates to fried rice, noodles, gobi manchurian are not spicy but look spicy. Vegetarian, indian street food for those who are craving for chaatzz. Plenty of seating and parking available. Restaurant is clean. Waiters are super nice!

Why just 2 star! One less for slow service. One more less for not making according to information. And last one was for not that good food. If you want to waste your money and time this is the best place!

My husband and three kids just had a meal. My husband had a North Indian thaali while I had the South Indian thaali. The children had noodles. First of all, the restaurant was immaculate and had a very light jasmine oil scent which was so pleasant. I had walked in with a headache. Within a few Minutes of walking in, ordering our meal my headache was completely gone. The chairs and tables were very clean. No stickiness. No oils. No hand or finger marks anywhere(yes I am very picky) Our server, ABHI, was extremely pleasant. He had an infectious smile and was extremely courteous. He even helped explain some of the dishes we weren’t familiar with. His uniform(white shirt and black slacks) were clean and neatly pressed. He was very attentive to our needs. The presentation of the food on arrival were very clean, organized and very appetizing. both my husband and I are a clean freaks when it comes to eating out. Well, I must add, we are exactly the same when eating at home. We have a habit of double checking everything. I give this place a 5 star. It exceeded our expectations and then some.

This place has really gone down through the years. The first year it opened it was good. Now it is pathetic. We ordered for sev puri and bhel considering the name«go chatzz». Home made chat definitely would have been a zillion times better option. It was so bad we didn’t want to eat or pay for their food. It’s like a 5 year old is running the kitchen. The food tastes that bad. Defiantly they need to change a lot of things

Had dinner here the other night and me and my family enjoyed it. The food was good but we loved the service more. We were checked up on a few times throughout our meal by a few different people. They really want to make sure everything is good. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We ordered Basket Pakoda and it was the worst pakodas I have ever had. It was not cooked properly & the quality of Paneer in pakodas was so bad. I used to come here very regularly but food quality is very bad. Don’t waste your money.

Slow start, but once it gets to your table there’s a conjuring — you don’t just eat it, you breathe its’ spirit in. It takes you back to the little all-vegetarian cafes of Mumbai or New Dehli; and it does this by making things simple yet evocative. I really love the chow noodles here because they have that transporting power to take you to India in your mind. All the guys that work here are of India and waywardly have different service attitudes(one is slow and forgetful, the next is hustling and apologetic), and so… no women. Point is, come here to breathe, check your phone, breathe, wait, get a first item, enjoy first item, wait, get second item, be surprised when third item arrives at same time as second item, be surprised you were in here an hour. But have I told you yet how much I like their chow? I’ve been here twice already and I’ll probably be here again. #mouthwatering

Came here for the second time and had a good experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating 5⁄5 for service Both the I came here the place was empty, I don’t know why. But the place is clean, they bring out filtered water(not tap), and they have many options on their menu — north/south Indian, street food, info-Chinese, and indo-Italian. We ordered: North Indian Thali: I didn’t order this but had s bite of everything that it came with. rice(refer to post in South Indian Thai), raita(good), parata(crispy, warm, and had some garlic seasoning), and some other curries. Everything was good 4⁄5 South Indian Thali: came with rice(mine was below Luke warm but it has nice flavor), yogurt, papad(very oily! I forgot to take a pic), pickle, Sambar(good taste), rasam(I thought it would be very spicy but it wasn’t. I liked it), vegetable of the day today was baigan bharta but since I don’t like egg plant, they was open to making bhindi masala for me(it was good. Bit only but still good), and roti(very thick and filled me up) 4⁄5 Vada pau: surprisingly it was really good! A bit oily but so many flavors in that patty haha 4⁄5 Butter milk: I have had buttermilk that I liked that other restaurants better but I like theirs. Not too salty, not too much masala 4⁄5 For the price($ 9.99 for Thali) you pay, you get a good quantity of food. Besides the oil, I think the good was very good.

Fantastic service, even for Take Out! Things are a lot difference since my last visit a few months ago. The staff is super attentive, and the manager is amazing. I’d placed an order on the phone, and went over to pick it up. Unfortnately, one item was mis-ordered and I realised only when I sat down to eat. The lady manager(Annu I think was her name) was fantastic and she totally was apologetic and had someone DELIVER the incorrect item free of cost to me! I’m simply blown away by the customer friendly system they have in place. Even when I was in their restaurant waiting to pick up the food, the waiter had the presence of mind to offer me a seat(taking up a table). Good job guys!
