PERFECTION! That’s all I have to say about Andy. Here’s a brief summary of the work Andy did for me:
1. Wall mounted a 60″ plasma
2. Fished TV cables though the wall.
3. Fished wires for a 5.1 home theater kit
4. Installed a couple of power outlets
His price was reasonable, he showed up on time, and did an excellent job. He’s extremely meticulous and strives for perfection. If I ever have to mount another TV or mount additional speakers, Andy is the person I would call.
As one other review mentioned, the only shortcoming with Andy is that he’s a perfectionist. He spent nearly three fourths of a day setting up my stuff, but the end result is simply amazing. I don’t think the end result can be any better. I’m a stickler when it comes to things, and I’m unable to find anything lacking in the end result!

I give him 5 stars for a job well done, every inch of detail he puts on his work. And most especially the value for your money.
Andy is personable, unlike other journeyman, repair, or installation companies that treats you like another job in their list. I have my 2 tvs and a sound bar mounted on the wall. He gives sound advice of to do and what not to do. He does not rush the job just to get it done, he takes time and carefully examines before he do some hole drilling etc. And his charges are reasonable, and real value for your money. And I strongly recommend him if you have any wall mounting that you need in your home.

Andy does an awesome job at whatever he does! I ‘discovered’ him on Unilocal when I wanted to move my cable and satellite connection to a different living room, and also needed to wall mount my new TV. Since then he has installed my home theater, and three chandeliers around the house. He is very smart and will always come up with a great idea to resolve the problem at hand when it may seem that there is no way to solve it. The chandeliers we had gotten from Amazon were not exactly easy to install, with hardly any installation instructions. I tried to install one myself, but failed miserably and my wife right away asked me to ping Andy. He came and installed it within an hour! He is prompt to respond, and very courteous. A perfect Gentleman! He is very reasonable with his charges, and won’t overcharge just because you are in need. That, I believe is a great sign of a honest and ethical human being. I believe in local businesses, and would highly recommend Andy any day.

Andy did a very clean job and his prices were lower than most tv installers. He hid the wires underneath the wall and cleaned up the entire thing.

I called a few companies in the Fremont/​Newark area and most were quoting me in the high $ 300s to just hide my wires. I went with Andy because his price was the most reasonable.
Andy is amazing and I highly recommend him to mount your TV and hide the wires. He is prompt, professional and such a nice guy. He spent a few hours working on the TV and as I observed him I noticed how clean he maintained the working space. He laid all of his tools on his own towel and had a vacuum to clean as he worked.
At one point, I asked him if he knows much about garbage disposals b/​c mine was making a funny noise for a few days, he quickly brought over his flashlight and looked down the drain. It turned out there was a toothpick in the drain which was making all the loud noises. lol.
Also, he noticed my front door dead bolt wasn’t turning all the way closed, so he fixed that as well.
Andy is a pleasant guy to have in your home and I would hire him again in a heartbeat! He’s been doing this for over 8 years and it shows in his quality of work.
One tip, if you need long hdmi cables and don’t have them at time he arrives, he’ll provide them for you, but he will charge you. The prices were very reasonable. I think it was the price he actually bought them for, just make sure to ask him about it when he quotes you.

I had Andy, come over a few weeks ago to mount a TV in our master bedroom. I asked him hide the wires behind the wall; he said no problem. I called a few places and Andy, gave me the most competitive price. Upon arrival, he took off his shoes without me asking. That’s already +1. I already purchased the mount from Costco, so all he had to do was put it on the wall. He completed the work in a little less than 2 hours. He did an excellent job! His work is clean and was very meticulous. I would definitely hire him again!

I came across this company while calling for quotes to have my plasma installed. I spoke with Andy Shao (owner) and he gave me a competitive price. I liked the way he came across on the phone, pretty much knowledgeble about the install and requirements. I set up an appointment for him to come and install-​he arrived on time, let me know what exactly needed to be done and got to work. Andy is very detail-​oriented and likes to do a perfect job. He sticks with the quote he gives (no surprises), works efficiently and is a very nice guy. I would recommend JAE Installations to anyone who wants the job done right.
