Joy Doyle, MD

Dr. Doyle is the doctor I wish I’ve always had! The very first appointment I had with her I felt so comfortable, that I cried talking about the death of my parents. She gave me a hug and totally understood and just listened, like a friend. She’s kind, honest, and knows what she’s doing. She tells you like it is, but in a way that’s easy to understand. She doesn’t rush through an appointment to get to the next one, but will listen to every question I have and asks me abut things in my personal life. I think it’s important to have a doctor that is more than just a doctor, not just someone who will take care of the medical issues. She cares about the whole person.

Dr. Doyle is honestly the best doctor I have ever had. When I first met her, I wasn’t myself. She knew exactly what was going on with me and what I should do to fix it. She makes excellent referrals as well. When she told me that everything would be ok, I was able to trust her. Dr. Doyle is approachable, compassionate and has a wealth of medical knowledge that she is willing to share with her patients.
Dr. Doyle is also able to talk to people in a language that they can understand. So many doctors throw abbreviations and big words at you that you don’t know the meanings of. Dr. Doyle drew me a picture illustrating the disease process that I was going through to make sure that I understood as much as I could. I really appreciated that and everything else that she did for me!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Doyle’s since 1997, and she is wonderful: supportive, understanding, communicative, a great listener, easy to talk to and always ready to offer excellent medical advice — all the qualities a good doctor SHOULD have.
