One of the best veggi pizza I have had. I ordered a mini wild veggi pizza. The last time I had tried masala pizza and was not at all impressed by it. But had seen other veggie friends of mine enjoy wild veggie. No doubt it is awesome and probably one of the healthiest veggie pizza I have had. It was covered with many types of vegetables and nuts, cilantro, cauliflower, cranberry, pea, mushrooms and so many things that I can’t even imagine. The service is good, people are nice, and live music in evening. Totally recommend this place.

This is a great place to have a beer and perhaps pizza with friends. Excellent tap and bottle choices with fair price. It can be crowded though and noisy when there is live music.

Im a HUGE fan of the ’55 Bacon Cheeseburger! I’ve tried a few others, but I like this one the best. I always get an order of their hot wings to go with my personal size pizza. It can get a bit crowded, even on weekdays. Fun local joint to come with friends and/or family. The only draw back is the long wait for the pizza, but that’s how you know they make it fresh to order =)

Thursday January 7, 2016 Traffic was backed up on 680 northbound so I decided to get off the freeway, relax, and have a leisurely dinner and catch up on emails. Coming to Mission Pizza turned out to be a big mistake. The only thing that was worse than the pizza was the very rude cashier. My guess is, and it’s only a guess, is that the owner(s) must be miserable to work for and that spills over in poor customer service. Not an enjoyable atmosphere to eat in and coupled with a pizza with what seemed to have low quality ingredients, I will not return. Owner(s) should only use top quality ingredients. And consider having«mystery shoppers» to eat there and give written reports to owners that same day so corrections can be sure and swift. Signed, randy

We’ve been coming here for as long as they’ve been in business. Delicious, varied pizza offerings, many beers on tap, really nice owners, live music on weekends. This place is a community favorite! Tonight was the only time I’ve received poor customer service. We ordered our pizza in advance, came in eat it at the pub. The guys wanted a beer with their pizza, I wanted a salad with mine, but it was a few minutes before 8 pm and they had already put the salad bar away. I didn’t know they put it away at 8 pm! They weren’t busy, the non– responsive guy at the register could have pulled a few bowls of salad ingredients out of the fridge so I could have been happy, too. They should keep the salad bar open until at least 8:15 pm.

Over 5 years since my last review I figured it was time to give Mission Pizza an update. Not much has changed from a consumer standpoint except for making my friends crave it more often. Since we aren’t in the East Bay it’s a bit of a drive for us but it’s oh so worth it! We have yet to have a pizza disappoint us. They staff is friendly and efficient. The beer selection is out of this world and part of the reason we keep coming back. Thanks Mission Pizza for being our go to pizza joint!

I love supporting a family run establishment and this is certainly all family. Just look at their menu! They are creative with their pizza to say the least. When I take friends to try this place, I always get the Andromeda Galaxy because you won’t be getting this anywhere else. My personal favorites are their 55′ Bacon Cheeseburgers, their St. Paddy’s Pizza, or I get their Amits Marsala or Mission Pesto and add linguica to each. Because it’s hard to choose, I tend to ask them to do half-half. You should be conscious of which types of pizzas you want to split though because some sauces cook longer than others. Their salad bar is decent and I do enjoy their wings. And then you get the beer selection. From what I remember, it was approximately 32 different beers on tap. They offer live music on the weekends and it gets lively. Don’t forget those coupons, especially on double coupon days because they certainly help.

One of the very few places I’ve walked out of due to rudeness of staff. We simply walked in, and asked about a substitution on the«andromeda’s galaxy» pizza, as we are vegetarian. We were told no substitutes, which is disappointing, but understandable. As we discussed alternatives, the cashier/manager guy added«if you don’t like our policy, leave». At that point, we did leave. Obviously some folks enjoy this place, and it looked pretty good from what I saw. But I do have no need to be treated in the way that we were treated, and I’d prefer to patron more hospitable locations. If the owners read these reviews, I would encourage them to speak with the manager/cashier guy who appears to be highly disgruntled and unnecessarily antagonistic.

Alright, first of all let me say that I’ve lived in the tri city area most of my life. I’ve had pizzas everywhere. Some really good, some really bad. Mission pizza is really really bad. No denying the innovation and creativity of the pizzas, but, I just can’t get past the dough. It’s too thick and very crusty. I seriously have to chew hard to get the bites down. Red baron pizza is better than this. Sorry, as much I love to support local spots this place needs a complete redo with the pizzas. As for the beers, all craft and good, but they are very high on alcohol and honestly I’m not into that. All in all if I do step on there and get super drunk off the beers, then I might be willing to eat the pizza if it was offered to me. Otherwise… pass

Where do I start? Here: 1 large pizza, 2 small fountain drinks, 1 bottles beer, 8 wings, $ 48&50 min later… My husband and I decided to do pizza Friday with our niece & thought what better place to go than Mission Pizza? He’s loved it since a small child and wants to show me all of the Fremont delights. We order a large pizza with pepperoni, basil, spinach, feta, and sun-dried tomatoes. Unbeknownst to me, the pizza would cost us an arm, leg, neck, a kidney & other costly body parts. Why so much??? They charge $ 2.10 extra for each topping. What-a-FREAKING-scam! So we pay for the pizza and wait and wait and wait and wait. And wait. There’s only 4 customers in the entire restaurant. What are they doing back there? Growing the basil?! Customer service is sub par. Wings were soft and gross. Customer service is sub par(repeated for a reason)… After distracting myself with TV for 45 minutes, the pizza finally came. It was epic. This place would have gotten 5 stars based on the pizza itself but when you factor in the notion that we practically paid for their electricity, gas, and cable bill to feed 2 adults & an 8 year old, those stars dropped. Pizza was tasty. Certainly my top 5. Will I return? Most likely not. Oh and they forgot to put the sun-dried tomatoes on there… Maybe they didn’t get a chance to grow them?

Delicious PIzza! Thick crust with a nice crispy bottom… loads of toppings with every bite. I’d highly recommend this place to pizza lovers.

We go to mission pizza at least twice a month. The pizza is delicious. The employees are so friendly. The music is awesome. Beer variety amazing. They also carry premium wines. I recommend Phil’s combo. Its incredible! We don’t eat pizza anywhere else.

My feelings are mixed here– Really great beer selection on tap. Some neat bears from knee deep, sierra nevada, lagunitas and others… But the pizza. It’s a pizza place, so I must judge on the basis of the pizza… and it was lacking in my opinion. Not for the lack of creativity– some of these pizzas seemed exotic and wonderful! But it was the elemental things that has made the pizza here rather lackluster. What I mean is the crust. The crust here was rather… not that good. haha. It was a little hard and dry, and reminded me of the consistency of Red Baron frozen pizza. HOWEVER… if I was drinking beer with my pizza… I honestly wouldn’t care. Unfortunately, I was eating without beer this time so… bummer. Have to give this place 3 stars. I’ll have to try it again sometime, maybe it was just a bad day.

Came here last night with my boyfriend & let me start off by saying that he woke me up @ 3am with a huge stomachache. This is our first time here, & at first it seemed like a super awesome pizza pub with over 30 beers on tap with live music(Thurs-Sat), but when the pizza came out all that just went away. The crust was stiff & tasted like stale bread. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza that we had to ask for ranch on the side to smother our pizza in. I am super disappointed because we spent $ 40 on a medium pizza &2 beers… The only thing great were the beers! Overall I wouldn’t come here for the food.

This is a very nice joint with some lovely staff. I would have given 5 stars without any doubt but… We have ordered Phoenix’s Southwestern pizza and the wait time was 40 minutes. We were prepared to wait as we know that they have long waiting periods. Once I got the pizza, I was shocked to see very very less chicken on it. When you are charging ~30 $ for a large pizza, you shouldn’t be stingy on sprinkling the chicken on it. May be just my experience but wish I had a better one.

The reviews seem to be mixed on this pizza place. I liked the atmosphere it reminded me more of a college bar than anything else. Lots of beer on tap with a few wine selections that are all reasonably priced. Certain nights there is live jazz or country music which has to bring in additional traffic. For a Thursday night at 9 pm this place was packed with locals getting a little tipsy(wish I could have joined in). I had a groupon that I paid $ 18 to receive $ 30 worth of food. Went with a basic pepperoni pizza garlic bread, a gluten free beer. The pizza was rather doughy but I did like the pepperoni and sauce. Not the best I have had but definitely not the worst. It was nice to try and my search continues for really good pizza in the Bay Area. It just may not exist.

This is THEBEST pizza joint in the whole Bay Area! I have had both of their crusts: gluten free and regular. Their gluten free is more of a thin crust but just as delicious. They have several signature pizzas such as Deborah’s garden(oh my yumminess) or Tristan’s bbq(a favorite from regulars). At the end of the day, my favorite is a regular ol’ pepperoni with extra sauce. I suggest everyone get extra sauce… I think that is the secret to their success! Not only are their pizzas great, their other food options are good too! You name it, they got it… cheese bread, wings, salad bar, sandwiches. Can’t go wrong with any of them. Another bonus? They have several(around 25) beers on tap that you should definitely stop in to try! There is one for everyone! Or three or four :) On certain nights, the owner and his band play their blue grass music. Creates a great atmosphere. Come down and listen. The employees are all friendly and have been there forever! Don’t be afraid to ask for help. They will be happy to assist you when they can! Oh! And don’t forget! They have coupons online, and from Sunday to Tuesday, it is double coupon days! Be sure to come in for that extra deal too!

I’ve been here twice since moving to the Bay Area and every time I go, the service is great and the food is amazing. The first time I went, the gentleman at the front let us know about a drink special he does, half Arrogant Bastard and half of a Pear cider. It was so good that the second time we went, I had to get to again. My favorite pizza there is the Andromeda Galaxy Pizza. We had the bbq chicken one, and it’s not too bad either, but the Galaxy pizza is hands down my favorite. The people and crowd are very friendly here and I will be back. They currently offer a groupon which is amazing, 18 $ for 30 $ of pizza and drinks.

I finally tried Mission Pizza! This place is busy every time I go by, particularly on Friday and Saturday when they seem to have live blue grass music. Going here felt like going to the local pizza joint I grew up going to as a kid, asking my mom for change to play video games with after dinner. Except Mission Pizza is way cooler, has tons of beer on tap, feels like a part of old Mission area, and has that small family owned feel. Don’t get me wrong, I love Round Table Pizza, but eating at a locally owned establishment just feels better sometimes. I ordered a Large Combo and although I wasn’t blown away(I think I had high expectations bc of the crowds and also people in the area telling me it’s really good) it was better than any non corporate pizza I’ve had. It was just the right amount of greasy and thick. If you’re looking for a fun and friendly atmosphere(staff was super friendly) with that small town feel, Mission Pizza is a place to try.
