Mission’s Mane Attraction Hair Design

I got married in September and hired Marcia and Fern to do mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup. They did such a excellent job with both the hair and makeup. I have also been a customer of Marcia’s for years prior to getting married and she always excites me with how talented she is with doing my hair. We loved the way we looked and also loved spending time with Fern and Marcia. I could not have asked for a better crew to be taking care of me and my girls my wedding day! I can’t say enough how happy I was with the entire process of having our hair and makeup done by Fern and Marcia. During the planning, if I had a question Marcia was quick to answer and very helpful. She also helped me with planning out the timing of everything on the day of! Marcia and Fern were indispensable at making our wedding a completely perfect day! Thanks Marcia and Fern!

We have been coming to this salon for 15 years. They treat us well and provide great service. My hair is very hard to manage and I’ve always hated it growing up. This salon is great and all the Current hair stylist and receptionist is always nice and friendly. This place is beautifully designed and relaxing to go to. Marcia is my hairstylist and always does a great job. I usually go in with all these different hair color request and it turns out great every time. I recommend the salon and all the hairstylist to anyone who is in the area or looking for a new stylist

Rosa has been my stylist for many years. She is the best. I like to change my style and color now and again. And Rosa always styles my hair in fun ways. I have so much confidence in her ability. I have recommended her to many others. I also love the comfy shop.

Got my haircut by Kyle today and he did a GREAT job. I had almost waist length hair and got it cut to just below the shoulders. Now my hair feels so much cleaner and bouncier. They always do a fantastic job here.

Fernanda (owner) is extremely moody and rude. Your haircut depends on what mood she is in. Bad mouthing people who are not her clients any longer.

If you need a great cut, then come here! I got just what I wanted when I came here. Marcia asked questions and went to work. She respected my request for no sulfates or parabens. She did what we agreed she was going to do and there were no surprises! This was my first visit, but certainly not my last! I highly recommend Mission’s Mane Attraction to everyone, Marcia is the best!

I’ve been coming to Mission’s Mane Attraction all the way from the South Bay to have my hair done by Joe for the last 12 years. Joe is the only stylist I’ve been to who actually listens to what I want, takes the time to understand how I maintain my hair, and knows my hair well enough to know what kind of cuts will and won’t work with it. The salon is kept clean and well-​maintained, is nicely decorated, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, as well. I highly recommend Joe and Mission’s Mane Attraction. Try them, you won’t be sorry!

I’ve been gong to Fernanda since FOREVER! When you think of your perfect hair stylist who knows your hair better than you do, then you’re talking about Fern! I leave everything up to her, she knows best and I am never disappointed! She’s more than my stylist she’s my friend! I get so many compliments on my hair and I recommend the salon to everyone and anyone! I will NEVER go anywhere else, or trust anyone with my hair. Love them!

I love Mission’s Mane Attraction. I found this place txs to Unilocalers. After years of having the $ 14 – 20 dollar haircut, I really wanted my hair done and done right (I figured it was time), so I in August 2010 I Unilocaled and found this place and made an appt. I was scheduled wth Marcia and she is fabulous! I can’t imagine every having another person do my hair. The whole place is wonderful. It’s small, friendly and welcoming when you enter. They all seem to get along and have a great attitude toward each other. Marcia cuts my hair just as I like, answers any questions I have about my hair and is a blast to conversate with. The price is also great! They are not ridiculously over priced, as some other well known Fremont salons are, nor is underpriced. Mission’s Mane Attraction is affordable for a great haircut done right! I get compliments everytime after I get my hair cut!

Just spent 6 years on the east coast (3 years in Manhattan) and I got a far better cut, for less, with Marcia. She actually listens, which I’ve found to be extremely rare. Great with guys cuts. Takes about a week to get an appointment.

The Best Salon Ever! I have been going to Fernanda at the Mission Mane Attraction for the past 24 years, she is awesome and knows her stuff! Since I moved out to the Valley 10 years ago I drive to Fremont to get my hair done by her and I think that in itself says alot. Great people, great atmostphere and great sylist! If you can get an appointment with Fernanda BOOK IT! Otherwise there are other awesome sylist that you will be happy with, you really cannot go wrong. :-)

What more can I say? I loveeee Marcia! I don’t have to say much for her to understand exactly what type of haircut I am looking for. Not only is my hair is always so much easier to style once it’s been cut by her, it always feels so healthy. She is great when it comes to recommending hair products also. Anyway, if you are looking for a great cut… ask for Marcia… she is thee best :)

I have the most positive experiences here. I’m so lucky to have found Marcia. She has a way of doing my hair the way I want but better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone there are super sweet and extremely attentive. If you are having hair woes come here for a positive solution.

Since I moved to Fremont back in Feb 2008, I have been going to see Marcia here (all 3 times) :) each time my hair has come out exactly how I wanted it.
I love how she takes the time to ask you what you want to do with your hair and she follows through.
The experience starts with a consult and then onward to the shampoo. I love the feeling of having my head massaged. She’s so gentle and careful, not the head pushing and tossing like I’ve experienced before. Throughout the hair cut she asks and checks in to make sure it’s coming out the way I want it to. I’m pretty picky when it comes to cutting my bangs and it’s difficult to get it dead on each haircut. However, Marcia never fails to cut it the right length each time. It’s never too short and always ready to wear. Another positive is that they’ll style the hair anyway YOU want it at the end. Straight, curled, your choice. :D
I’m sad to say I’m moved out of the area, but may have to visit one last time.

I have gotten my hair done there twice. I love it there. My stylist is Marcia and she knows her stuff. I went in not quite knowing what I wanted so I took a couple pics of what hair design I might want, one of which included Paul Walker’s style. She made my hair look exactly like the actor’s hair. I am so confident in this hair that I’m now looking to replace Mr. Walker in the sequel to «Into the blue»…LOL.Awesome Awesome Awesome.

I LOVE this place! Great people. Great music. Great talent. Low key and leading edge all at the same time. If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment then get in there!

I haven’t been to this new location, but Fernanda (one of the owners) did my hair for YEARS – most excellently! She and her husband opened the first Mane Attraction in Irvington – Fernanda got too much in demand by that time and suggested I use another one of her stylists.
I said, «But is she GOOD?» And Fernanda replied, «Would I hire her elsewise?»
I have been seeing that stylist, Noelle Busby (now with Stravaganza in San Ramon) for ten years!
But I would totally go to Mane Attraction in a HOT MINUTE if Noelle quit tomorrow! Fernanda and her husband are EXCELLENT and everyone who works in their shop are top notch!

I live in San Jose, so it’s a bit of a drive but well worth it. The salon itself is friendly, clean, and obviously well taken care of. Marcia is my stylist, and it’s always a nice relaxing experience when I get my hair cut. The first time I saw her I was cutting quite a lot and I explained what I wanted. She was the first person that was able to give me EXACTLY what I wanted. My haircut was adorable and SO easy to manage.
