I like the sandwiches but haven’t been there in years because they didn’t wear food service gloves before preparing food. They took cash, credit card etc & then walked over & prepared your bacteria filled meal. Does anyone know if they wear gloves now? If so I would go back

Fairly solid establishment — part deli/part convenience store — with plenty of choices. My gyros sandwich was ample and tasty. I would suggest going a little lighter on the yogurt sauce as it was a tad bland and detracted from the nicely seasoned gyros meat and veggies. My wife had a turkey sandwich and there weren’t any complaints — which means it passed muster. The ordering experience wasn’t exactly service with a smile, but we got what we wanted, we sat at their outside tables, and the food was delivered promptly.

Small quiet deli with all the goods. Want BBQ chicken or pastrami or a classic burger, stop in for a delicious meal. The Georgia Peach Smoothie was delightful and the BBQ chicken hit the spot. We got it spicy, and it was phenomenal. Halal spot.

We stopped in here while passing through on our way to San Francisco. The turkey avocado sandwich and Italian sub were delicious! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone for once good food served quickly.

I’ve been here quite a few times and the thing to get here is the hot pastrami. Although it has some flaws, it is quite delicious. The bread is not fresh, so I recommend eating the sandwich as soon as you get it. As the bread cools down from being toasted, you can taste the stale bread. Also, don’t get pickles; they’re really strong for this sandwich.

It’s shocking to me that this place doesn’t have 5 stars yet. I don’t ever come to fremont, today I stumbled in hoping to sit and use wifi and get a coffee… but the woman at the register, her name was Sherry, she was just incredibly welcoming, smart, friendly, and just delightful, a rare find If you ask me(and I’m a foodie, I go to a ton of resturants, cafes, deli, etc. And haven’t had a memorable experience like this from pure natural hospitality before. She was more than nice to my boyfriend befoee I came in while I was at bank, and my bf mentioned how amazing the customer service was so I figured hey let’s go in, so we did and right off the bat for some reason this lady immediately had me smiling and wanting to stay and even get food(even though I wasn’t hungry) lol she was lovely, and the French dip was great :) nice outdoor seating too and the man inside I believe he was the owner was really nice too :) we laughed and chatted a lot which isn’t a common thing for me in a customer service setting. She felt like a new friend, not someone at work… she provided such good customer service that I will be back for this place even though I have no real reason to be in Freemont hehe. Not to sound like I’m laying too much on it, but honestly sherry is also clearly bright, intellegent, and gives a warm trustworthy vibe I think she has some great things coming her way. Customer service like this can truly turn people’s day around and that means a lot, and isn’t common. People like her are what make a positive impact in this world and peoples lives. Two thumbs up. Highly reccomend.

Good deli’s are fun to find. One with Greek food sounds like it could be a find. If I were going to the Ohlone college across the street, It might even become a regular haunt. But that’s what it felt like– the little deli across the street from school. I graduated and now expect more.

Pretty good deli sandwiches and fries. My bf had a turkey & avocado on sourdough and I had a grilled cheese(cheddar on sourdough) with a small fry. It came out fast and has some picnic tables you can eat at on a nice day. We went on a Saturday so there was hardly any traffic on the street to disrupt your lunch. I would recommend if you enjoy sandwiches or fries.

We live around the corner and we love this place it’s the only nly place to come and get your halal sandwiches. When ever we go the girl who works there make us wait all the time, but we didn’t care me my wife and my little 5 year old daughter. Today we went there that’s our only place to go on Sunday and we also extra order so we can take it togo. Today we went and the girl at the rigister wanted us to Wait again for few minutes, so we waited we were super hungry, and we saw two white girls walks in and places there order with no waiting or asking us come forward to place your order. My wife went up to the cashier asked when can we place our order and cashier replies after when I’m done with this order. Bad bad bad bad experience. Great sandwiches, we going to miss it but can’t afford to get minupilated, our little daughter was really sad and we are to, not sure if that was racist act or she was so busy to forgot about us.(There were only 2 customers before us)

Lady working the counter is nice and friendly. Owner is just the same. Really friendly guy. This is my second time here and I appreciate an actual deli in the bay area. Its rare. and they have a huge menu. I really enjoyed their tuna melt the first time I came here. This time around I got a pastrami. And their pastrami is pretty good. Only downfall is I got my sandwich all messed up. But I’m not nicking them because I know how it is. Juggling school and work kinda throws you off. Iv E messed up on sandwiches countless times. In Any case, I brought it back and and she apologized. it was fixed so no complaints here! Want a good sandwich, come here!

I had the most delicious meal there today. I’m absolutely amazed that there are negative reviews. My feeling was that a chef had just prepared my meal, not a cook. I had a falafel sandwich that had baked falafel(it did not appear to be fried), mixed with shredded onion, tomato and lettuce, with what appeared to be hummus(rather than tahini) and another sauce(a yogurt sauce). It was delicious: it was a perfect blend of all the ingredients. Perfect lightly fried french fries. Delicious strawberry smoothie. Spotless bathroom upstairs.

I love the sandwiches and have a lot of food. I come here with my friend and we give them a tip. I would recommend others about this deli. If you want a nice hot sandwich then this is the place to go and eat.

I’ve been on a Sammie kick lately, so I decided to give this neighborhood deli a try. We walked-in and were greeted very promptly and warmly. Decided on a Turkey, cheese and added Salami on a roll. My wife got the Roast Beef and my son ordered the Turkey, Salami and Roast Beef. They give you a good amount of meat, which I enjoyed. The Sammie’s were good, but the rolls fell apart very easily, which made for a very sloppy meal. Still, we enjoyed our Sammies and will gladly come back.

After my daughter’s volleyball game, I decided to take the back roads home to avoid the freeway traffic. This was conveniently located on our way home and there was parking right in front of the Deli. We ordered the Fish & Chips, Hot Dog, and Soda. My Fish & Chips came with SPOILED ketchup and tartar sauce. The smell and look of it sicken me, so I questioned the tartar sauce too. It didn’t look spoiled but the thought was in my head so I just left it alone. At first glance, the Fish & Chips looked really good, however, they were tasteless. I wish I had trusting tartar sauce to dip them in, instead, I had to drench the Fish in vinegar to give it some flavor. On a good note, the fries were crispy and good. Overall, I don’t think I will be coming back, not worth the $ 14.

Came here after searching for a place to eat on a Sunday afternoon. It seemed like a typical deli, but it was fine for what we wanted. Ordered the gyro special and a salami/cheese sandwich. My sandwich was ok. Not the best one I’ve ever had, but I was hungry. The gyro was good and the fries were perfectly crispy. Not a bad meal, but not the best either.

I hate to give a star to a small business place but it was just not good at all. I ordered taco salad and the price is pretty descent for $ 6.99. I didn’t expect to get tortilla chips, nacho cheese and canned beans and 6 pieces of iceberg lettuce on my plate-see picture I took. I double checked with the guy who rang me up and he confirmed it was the taco salad. I felt like they made a mistake making nacho but did’t want to waste it and called it taco salad. Then I ordered ice mocha which I decided to get ice latte instead since they didn’t have sugar free chocolate syrup. The daughter made it and blended the drink in the blender. I thought ice latte is just plain milk, espresso and ice. I didn’t say anything cause I just want something to drink. She poured the blended drink to my cup and spilled ¼ of it on the counter and call it good, and gave me whatever left. Basically, I am still hungry and feel sour after spending $ 15.00.
