The food was great. I admit to placing the order with a workmate who went down to pick up so can’t tell about service or atmosphere. Will definitely order from here again!

Zorba’s is by far the best Mediterranean restaurant in the East Bay… When my fiancé and I finished college a few years ago, we did what most in our generation have to do — return to our parent’s nest, begin our careers and start saving money to one day(maybe) afford a home in the highly desired San Francisco Bay Area… It wasn’t long before the grown-up life became redundant and Friday evening happy hours became a ritual for us to relax and unwind after a long work week. Zorba’s is our top pick for a number of reasons — to enjoy QUALITY service, DELICIOUS food and a variety of the most tasty BREWSONDRAFT too! I can’t speak enough about this family owned Fremont gem. It’s a casual atmosphere with flat screen tvs and a bar with 8 – 10 kegs on tap! You should check it out… you won’t be disappointed!

Zorba’a Deli Café isn’t the usual. it’s been around for decades(overheard this). lots of sitdown room with microbrews, flatscreens, ala a pizza chain with better food choices. menu: souvalki sammies, gyros, wraps, burgers, salads, kebabs, kebab plates, vegeterian, grilled chicken sammies, pannins, homemade soups, shawarma wraps. eats: falafel wrap(7) –huge. didn’t hold together well. ingredients falling out when i tried to eat it one handed. –had tzatziki sauce, humus, tomato, falafel. green leafy veggie, onions? –fulfilling, had sour taste for unknown reasons. crumbs: –fab service, amigo cooks, menu too expansive to make impromtu decision –am sure if i choose a greek speciality or the 2 kebab lunch special, 4 stars for sure 3.5 stars. falafel wrap fulfilling, not what i expected…

After going to Dish n Dash today, I decided that it was time to give this place a review since I’ve gone here many times. I LOVE this place. First off, the menu has a variety of different items. Sandwiches, burgers, fries, wraps, shawarma plates, fish, meatballs, you name it. This may be a little pricey, but you get a really big portion of food. You order at the register, get a buzzer, and wait for your food. The workers are usually pretty friendly and always give good recommendations. I got a shrimp plate with rice and a Greek salad. I really enjoy the Greek salad here. It’s delicious. And I get bread w/yogurt dip?! Even better. I’m not sure why this place has such low ratings. The food is so good. I’ve gotten wraps, sandwiches, a burger, and finally a seafood plate. I loved every bite. Because of the portion, I was able to take my food to go and save it for dinner. This place is so good!

I was told by my coworkers that this Greek restaurant is the place to go. So I finally decided to come here on my lunch break. There are plenty of parking spaces but it’s hard to find parking during rush hour. With several businesses around the area, this shopping center provides several options to dine in and order take out. Luckily, I found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Upon arrival, there was already a good amount of people dining in. Zorbas offers several food options from salads, sandwiches, tri-tip and many more. Their menu is pretty extensive. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted, but I decided to play it safe. So, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was moist and everything about it was perfect. Everybody seems to order the tri-tip so I’ll definitely have to try that next time.

I love coming here when I’m craving Mediterranean because I know that they won’t disappoint! The meat is always cooked so that it is super moist and never dry which is what I like most and they always give you pretty big portions of food. Some of the things I like to orders are the combination kebab plate or the lamb gyro plate which are both awesome. I’ve never tried any of the sandwiches because I feel like I could get sandwiches anywhere but the kebabs and gyros are definitely on point!

I was in area around lunch time and decided to be adventurous. I ordered the chicken gyro . Pros: Friendly staff Relatively fast service Cons: chicken had a weird flavoring pita bread was really cold and stiff I ended up only eating the chicken. Not my go to Greek food place I suppose.

I love lamb but if done wrong it is chewy and smell gamey. This place knows how to cook lamb! It is a order at the counter and sit where you want style place with 3 large screens often featuring whatever sport is on at the moment. Atmosphere is pleasant– diner style booths The food is delicious! My hisband and i got the lamb gyros. The portion was perfect. Pita was toasted just right. The lamb was the right bite size chunk and it was tender and juicy. The sauce is light and just the right flavor you expect. It was filling. We also got the baklava and the honey nutty yummy dessert was the perfect flakey end to the meal. Definitely come here if you are looking for a place to eat. They have lots of choices other than lamb– chicken beef and even fish.

Great Mediterranean food with a lot of options to choose from. Food is always fresh and tasty. Open kitchen is a great idea. Plus they take their time to get you your food as they make it to order so not your usual Mediterranean place where you served pre cooked food. The gyros and wraps are recommended options. They also have some good lamb options. The décor is simple but efficient. Wish they keep the place open more often as they sometimes don’t follow standard times and have seen it closed.

I wanted to give this place a good review because I love spanokopita. In fact, I was craving it so that’s why I even went here. But what I was not craving was FROZEN spanokopita. They took it out of the freezer and heated it. The top was blackened, and the bottom was frozen. The dolmades were the same, too– frozen.

I order the lamb plate over rice and was pleasantly surprised. The lamb was seasoned well and fresh. They were fast and it’s a good place to have a work lunch with coworkers.

Came to this place for lunch during work… Among a bunch of other business professionals. So it was kind of crowded. I got the chicken gyro and my dad and sister got the spicy chicken kabob plate(which is enough for two people to be honest). The food was okay. Not that great. Not horrible. My dad and sister seemed to like it a lot though. Free refills on the soda. Sauces available. Nice sit down place. Especially for lunch. Not that pricy. Does serve alcohol. Customer service wasn’t that great. When I went up to the register he asked if I’d like anything with the gyro and I hadn’t seen the sides menu… So I asked him what my options are and he gave me a smart remark saying, «anything I have.» Well thank you… I would have never guessed that. So I went with nothing. Will I be back? Probably not just due to the customer service.

Zorba’s was my goto lunch spot for more than a decade. It was convenient, had a great selection and was always tasty. I have been out of the area for 5 years or so, and haven’t had many opportunities to visit, until recently. Now I am working in Fremont again, and Zorba’s is quickly resuming its role in fulfilling my weekly lunch needs. Even though I eat mainly vegetarian these days, Zorba’s still has plenty to offer. I generally opt for the Mediterranean Plate, but it’s nice to have quite a few veggie options to choose from.

Zorba’s is so underrated! The mushroom burger here is sooo good. I haven’t tried anything else here so I can’t speak in regards to the other food they have here. I know it sounds weird ordering a burger at this joint but let me tell you, you definitely won’t regret getting it. They give you large pieces of mushroom on top of the burger patty and each ‘shroom is seasoned to perfection. Pair that with a juicy beef patty and it’s a match made in heaven. The rest of the ingredients on the burger tasted really fresh as well. If you’re a mushroom lover, this is a must try. You can order a side of fries as well but they’re nothing special. just tastes like regular fries! Get the criss cut ones if you decide to get a side of fries. I will definitely be back again for the burger! I know I should be a little adventurous and try out some of their other food. but something tells me I’ll probably always stick to ordering the mushroom burger.

Came here with my coworkers for lunch and I got the spicy chicken kebab plate. Parking was not too hard, but had to walk a decent amount. My friend was raving about the lamb shank, but I wanted more meat so the spicy chicken kebab i was! First Impression: Lots of salad and mea! It was you basic Mediterranean salad, but I liked it. The spicy chicken was also tender, but I wish it had more flavor. The rice was good as well. I had to end up using Tabasco since I needed more flavor on the rice and kebabs. Overall, I thought it was decent, but I probably wouldn’t come back. Or maybe I will come back to try the lamb shanks.

It has been a while since I’ve stopped over with my co-workers to have a meal(or drink). Therefore when I first walked in and saw the new computer screen Menus — I thought«hey, they are, ummm«nice»… But in my opinion I feel they took away a little bit of the charm from the older style menus. Maybe they can spice up those computer screen menus to not be so «bland» and better reflect the original«pizzazz» which I had to come to know as Zorbas! The California Chicken wrap /roll which I had was very delicious — but at $ 9 should it not come with some sort of side or garnish? It looked a bit«alone» sitting there on that white plate… But, forgetting about the bland presentation — that Calif. Chicken wrap was really tasty — I would certainly order it again. Will I rush back to Zorbas? Honestly, no… But, if a co-worker or friend suggests Zorbas to meet at, I’ll go. Please let me know your experience, or if the managers took to heart some of my suggestions to spice up the menu or dish’s presentation. Bön Appetite! ~ Eric

Food is good as long as no hair on your food. I ask the owner and he said .well everyone has hair And the manager big fat! Standing in the cashier such a RUDEASS! I guess, make sure when you eat there check very carefully you don’t wanna eat somebody’s hair.

Surprised to experience good quality Mediterranean food at this place. The place was packed when I got there for lunch. Ordered lamb shawarma wrap and it was really good. The wrap was filled with lamb and veggies. The full was of great quality the lamb was well cooked and full of flavor. The food was not greasy or didn’t make u feel heavy. The food was fresh and the service was quick. With all good things said why 4 vs 5 stars. The wrap could definitely use a side as part of the 9 bucks order. Just the wrap is not enough I got a side of fries and a drink making my order total of $ 14. Will give 5 if the wrap came with a side or a lunch special. To get 5 stars the food has to be right price for right quality and quantity.
