I stay in hotels weekly. Specifically Hilton brands. This Hampton falls short. From checking in to cleanliness. Front desk personnel was a bit short, not very friendly or accommodating. Had some flies in my room. Internet wouldn’t connect. Called the front desk. Stated just use the Complimentary selection, it’s the same as the Premium. That didn’t work either. Seems to be located in an awkward location. Not much around to do. The local restaurants close at 8:00. Must drive to either Angola, IN or Coldwater, MI. Both are within 15 – 20 min. Checking out tomorrow to check in at the Coldwater Hampton.

Our visit here was fantastic. I travel to the area between 2 – 4 times per year and usually stay at the Holiday Inn. Since it was booked, my husband made a reservation here. I loved our visit. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. We used the pool, which was fine for little kids. The breakfast area was great. Parking was easy. The beds were delightful. Easy dining nearby(yes — -you do need to drive down the road or order in). Lovely sunsets out of my window. Recommend.

We always have good luck at Hampton Inns. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Location is good, because if you’re traveling on the interstate and need to stop for the night, well, here it is! Yes, it’s in the«middle of nowhere,» as other reviewers have said, but that’s what makes its location so great. Thank goodness it’s here or we world have had to drive another hour and a half! Duh. And there are places to eat, regardless of what other reviewers have said. Use Unilocal or just go down the road 1 minute to Timbuktu — quaint mom and pop place with good American food(and beer and wine). Enjoy!

In the middle of nowhere, right off the interstate. Decent accommodations, but no good restaurants around

I enjoy this Hampton Inn because it is off the beaten path! I travel extensively over five states where I must spend two or three nights a week in hotels. I come here every month and would not stay anywhere else! This hotel does have few shortcomings but I usually get a great welcome. The pool looks dingy green but it is clean. I saw it last summer empty and it is just that awful color! If interstate traffic bothers you, then ask for a room at the far side of the hotel. As for food, try Timbuktoo’s. This hide away restaurant has awesome food that I enjoy every time I travel to this part of the state!

Good for just an overnight stay. In the middle of nowhere-close to highway and mall but nothing else going on here. No restaurants around that I could see. Parking lot was unplowed when I arrived-had been snowing most of day they ended up plowing around 6pm Think there were like 6 cars in lot night I stayed so not a real popular place. Breakfast was fine in am. Fine for an overnight stay as you travel across midwest. Room was fine, quiet.

Its a Hampton Inn… don’t expect anything else… BRINGSOMEEARPLUGS if you want to sleep(you can hear the interstate). I made a reservation as I was driving across the state, and used 15,000 Hilton points so it was«free»…arrived around 1 am and got a room on the top floor. It is also the smoking floor and you can smell it when you get off the elevator… but my room was non-smoking. Bathroom was not that clean(hair on the floor) and room was pretty sparse… but the BEDISAWESOME… best thing about the Hampton’s. Again, you can hear the interstate so have some plugs with you… Breakfast was very good, and at 9 am I was the only one down there, cereal, bagels, juice and friendly staff. It would be worth $ 90 — 100 a night, but I would NEVER bring my FAMILY to one.

Well, the construction made it damn near impossible to get there and no one thought to mention that when we made our reservations by phone earlier in the day. Then we were given a room with a toilet that wouldn’t flush and the staff couldn’t figure out what to do about it, so I demanded a plunger and plunged it myself. They also only gave us half a wifi access code, so we couldn’t get online until we’d accomplished some further wrangling with the staff. At breakfast the next morning they served some seriously sketchy incredibly processed faux eggs with faux ham and faux cheese, sugary cereals, burnt coffee, and lots of stale-looking pastries. Oh, and the room was super stuffy, so we left the window open and were serenaded by the sound of truck traffic on the interstate. It would have been just as restful had we driven through the night rather than stopping here.
