Robbie V & Heidi Duo

We saw Robbie & Heidi at Dave’s Lake Shack last year and enjoyed their music. The bad combination of my husband and lots of beer resulted in his purchase of a Robbie & Heidi sweatshirt. It is cream colored and has a VERY LARGE picture of the duo gracing the front. It’s a great top except for the VERY LARGE photo and I spent the rest of the year making fun of Steve and covering R&H with a scarf.
We visited Northeastern Indiana a year later tracked down Robbie & Heidi on a whim. They were playing at the Retreat in Fremont. My friend Jill and I visited their website and made a huge list of song requests. When we arrived at the bar, it was pretty packed. Robbie and Heidi were so gracious about our list and played every song. They did a great job with Rocky Top and a variety of country numbers. The rock and roll choices were okay too.
Robbie was pretty excited when we wanted to buy more sweatshirts. Yeah, yeah I know I made fun of mine but it kind of grows on you. Jill and I are going to Bedazzle ours and return next year wearing them.
This duo made our evening fun and I wish they were closer to NWI — I’d start a fan club!
