It has been months that I forgot to review this food truck, but they were in San Jose, CA one time– and I had to try it after hearing great reviews from Unilocal. So I had to try something different and new. One thing that was difficult was there were so many beverage options, and it was so hard to choose which one is really good. This is what I tried 1st bought the Guava Citrus and 2nd was the halo halo. 1st drink was amazing, and really a tropical dessert beverage. 2nd drink was the halo halo — great take on a simple Filipino dessert beverage. I reminisce like Aristocrat halo halo in the Philippines but with mango and ube ice cream combined. I would give this 10 stars for a food truck that specializes in different beverages around the world. Kudos to this — either rain or shine.

Finally a food truck that serves drinks, and awesome drinks for that matter. A bit pricey here, but you know… you’re paying that much because it’s a food truck. Anyways, the drink menu is very extensive and they have drinks from many different ethnic backgrounds. I got to try the Guava Citrus and their Plantation Iced Tea. The plantation tea was good, spot on flavor, though just a bit watered down unfortunately. But the Guava Citrus was where it was at. That drink was awesome. It was a little tart/borderline bitter, but also sweet, fresh, and very refreshing. I really enjoyed it. Hopefully this truck will make appearances at some of the food truck gatherings. I would love to try their other drinks. Also one last tip, some of their drinks do seem to sell out if they’re busy so make sure you go early!

HALO-HALO…need I say more?! Seriously THEBEST halo-halo that I have ever had! I lalalove the fresh mangos, the ube and mango ice cream, and the beans! Are you drooling yet? I sure am! I also recommend the watermelon agua fresca on a hot day. It’s suuuper refreshing! The service is always spectacular at this food truck! Every one is very knowledgable about the menu, and they always offer great recommendations. I would give this truck 10 stars if I could!

Awesome drinks. A lot of variety of drinks from breakfast smoothies to Halo Halo. Friendly service. Just had the Halo halo drink today and all I can say is that was the best I have ever had. You don’t have to leave the Bay Area to enjoy drinks from around the world.

My husband and I like to check out the food truck gatherings. This one is on Fridays near my Chiropractor’s office. They shut down the street. At this one there were like 10 trucks including a dessert truck & a drink truck. It was a fun event with music and dancing. This review is about the drink truck: Sip of the World. My reviews of the food trucks will be on their Unilocal pages. First we got drinks to have with our dinner. My husband got the Citrus Guava Freeze. It turns out you can add tapioca pearls to everything. I got the Horchata, which was the creamiest yummiest Horchata I’ve ever had. It has a pink sweet cinnamony topping. Pretty and tasty. I tried my husband’s Citrus Guava Freeze. His drink was really good too. Since the drinks were sooo good, after dinner we went back to the Sip of the World truck to try the desserts. My husband had the Halo-Halo which has fruit and ice cream and shaved ice and all sorts of layers of stuff. He really liked it. I preferred my dessert which was the Mango Otai Respado. A delicious blend of fresh mango and pineapple and coconut over shaved ice. So yummy! Next time I’ll try the triple layer smoothie. I saw a lot of people with that one. Such a pretty drink.
