Off the Grid finally reaches Fremont! I came here after a nice bike ride at Coyote hills ready to munch!
It is located right off 880 on the stevenson exit, you cant miss it. Parking is pretty easy with big lots behind the event area.
To my disappointment, there were only 7 trucks present. I thought Chairman Bao was going to be here, but I guess not tonight. I guess I expected a bigger opening night. Maybe the showers played a part in the less grandeur opening?
Southern comfort Kitchen and the crab fries stole the show tonight. Good stuff, sold out around 8pm.
The fried catfish was also pretty decent!
I will definitely be back. Live music was present so it was pretty lively. But lets be honest, I came for the Bao! Hahahahaha
Hopefully more trucks show up next week!
