Hit or miss. Your service will really be determined by who is on staff. The timid ones will be the nicest. I’ve had decent experiences the first 7x I’ve been here. Today was different. An older lady rang me up and tries to upsell me 3x. Almost worse than my KFC experience the other day. Ordered a steak and cheese from D.S. Do I want bacon? Uh, no. Do I want avocado? No, thanks. My coupon which I showed the sandwich maker ahead of time is for one free 6″ with the purchase of one 6″ and any size drink. Dining in, so I chose small. She refused to sell me the small drink and insists that I have to get medium or large. Uh, no. I want the small one. After some back and forth, she finally rings me up for the drink size I wanted. Was turning me off and getting this poor review worth the $ 0.20 difference between small and medium drinks? Don’t argue with me please. I like subway but now I just have a bad taste in my mouth for this place. Next time I’m here, I’ll refuse to be served by this person. Unlike every other location though, this place does know what, «a lot of olives» means and gives me a generous amount without me having to ask again. For that, I thank you. I also thank you for not smashing my bread as you open it before putting in the meat. Some workers/places push it way too hard and make the bread all condensed. You were gentle. And I liked gentle.

We bought a kid’s meal for my son since the one on their board is a 3D maker finding Dory which I know my son would love. However they gave us a cheap looking fitbit imitation watch. There were only 2 staff and both of them were Indian. When we asked the staff she just told us the 3D maker is for next week. FALSEADVERTISINGTHERE!!! The one they gave us is not even advertised anywhere in their store. Okay so we let that go. And so we got the milk and apple slices from the fridge which is included in the kids meal. After eating the sub I have finally opened the apple slices and noticed the best before is May 31,2016. Today is June 4. So I went back to the fridge only to find the other one left is also best before May 31st. So I told the male staff about it. I was stunned by the attitude. Without even apologizing and with a «I don’t care tone» he told me that whatever’s on the fridge is all they have left. I just threw the apple slices away since it’s way past best before date. I was speechless with surprise. They did not even do anything about it nor apologized for it!!! I was already pissed as it is. Then when we were about to leave I saw the male staff refilling the spinach bucket with bare hands. OMG!!! Don’t they have a policy for this!!! I hope he washed his hands before doing this. But I doubt it with their«I don’t care attitude».

I always come to this location since it is right by my work but sadly to say goodbye and never see you again in the future. I believed the lady who got so aggressive when I showed her a coupon discount I got from my phone is the owner or a manager whoever it is. I showed her the coupon right before I paid and was told I am supposed to show it before I order? EXCUSEME? Where did it state on the coupon I had to redeem before I start my order? It is not the first time I am using the coupon at this location; and no one ever told me anything about showing the coupon before you order? Do you ever ask if you had trained your employees right? Or you just go and blame it on customers not to show it to you because the fact they don’t know that they have to? I asked if it makes any different I show before or after I order? I believe if she knew I had the coupon, she would give me less meat! That is so fucked up. Tell me to show it next time? There is no next time my friend. You lost me as your regular customer and believe me, you are losing more customers just by reading my reviews and I for sure will tell everyone I know how cheap this location can be, not only that, the way they treat their customers also.

Fully satisfied with great job attended with sweet smile n fastest customer service ever. I often visits them with huge greets never saw anybody rude. The lady in morning makes my day with fresh bread n soft cookies. Even today greets me with same charm although it was a hugeline but i got sad to see they’re mistreated by those whom she was serving even then she did her job well n just smiled at ruthless behaviour. i’ll continue my visits at this Subway!

–NOSTARS– ! Both the ladies were BOTHRUDE especially the older looking lady she kept mean mugging me and my friends. That was the second time we’ve gone. I had asked for jalapeños and she literally put 3 single jalapeños. I asked her if she could add more and she added 2 more … I personally love jalapeños and I asked her one last time to add some more and she(the younger lady) told me with an attitude«I already did !» After that they started talking get in their language and were laughing. NEVERAGAIN. They’re costumer service SUCKS. they need to hire friendly and more sanitary people.

Only giving 1 star because the location is close to my job. Other than every single employee in this establishment is rude beyond control. I’ve gone here a few times and never had a good experience. Went on today and as I was giving my order the lady with the piercing in her nose just walked walkway with a nasty attitude and had someone else help me. It was so obvious the customer before me reacted as well. I started to order with now a new person and decided to just walk out because the customer service sucks. I’ve never been this upset leaving any restaurant before.

The employee named aman at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked her to change my bread after getting meatball sauce on it and she gave me attitude claiming«it’s just sauce». She didn’t stop here, upon ringing me up she stated that my card had been declined. I without a doubt knew she did this out of spite because I checked my account balance and had more than enough money in my account, I even purchased something immediately after to be sure. This was the strangest experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. This employee has no place in customer service and I am awaiting to hear back from corporate regarding this issue. I even see her picture here on Unilocal with the caption«rude». I’m surprised she has not been fired yet, this type of behavior would not be tolerated at any franchise I know. It leads me to believe she has some sort of affiliation to the store manager or owner.

No STARS !!! So I went in tonight I usually stop by this place if I’m at work or near by didn’t have problems before. I’ve talked to the lady who’s usually there and nothing quite out of the ordinary … Until I went in tonight was ordering food for my boyfriend who happened to show up but did not even go inside was standing outside he was smoking she kept looking outside the door like something was wrong … She asked me if I was with him and I said yes. And she goes don’t «they» scare you? By the way my boyfriend is black & I go he’s my boyfriend ! Than she had the nerve to tel me that i should date Indian guys because I’m Indian !! Excuse me but you are in AMERICA !! I kept my calm and played it off but I will never go here again. So fucking disgusted !!! A American franchise, with a worker who had the nerve to be racist !!! This location doesn’t honor Subway mobile coupons. Too bad that was the only reason I came here and wasn’t told this until the sandwiches were already made. There was only one guy in front of us ordering 1 sandwich and the lady had no sense of urgency. I watched her wait while toasting his bread instead of starting on the next one or even acknowledging my presence. Then I watched her essentially have a casual conversation at the register while I stood there and other people started coming in. I figured she was only making 1 sandwich at a time so I ordered my first one and ordered the second one while she was wrapping the first one up. She said«why didn’t you tell me sooner» in an annoyed tone. By then the line was 7 people behind me. I wouldn’t have taken the sandwiches once I learned the coupon wasn’t accepted but didn’t want to make the other customers wait even longer. Not surprised this place only has 1 star on Unilocal,the complaints are legit.

Subway should really CLOSETHISSTORE to keep their good image in customer’s perspective that all other stores have been working so hard to creat it. 1. No greetings: We were the only 2 customers in the store and the staff ignored us for 5 minutes while she was cleaning the back counter. Then she walked up and said«what do you need?» No greetings, no hello. Well, I was still fine because I think the staff is not used to American way of greeting customers. 2. No hygiene: The staff was using 1 glove and 1 bare hand to wipe the counter then put on a new glove(still keep the other dirty one on) and start making our sandwich. Disgusting! 3. Rude attitude We order a sub of the day which was ham and turkey(Thursday). She threw all the meats inside the sandwich with no order. I asked her why there were only 3 pieces of ham, other stores make more meat. And she got angry, picked up the meat and threw it back down to the sandwich and said«do you want to buy it or not, if not I don’t make it». Then she picked up a double piece of meat inside the sandwich and said«look, how many is it? Did I count it wrong?» So there were 4 total but she didn’t separate the meat, just threw a whole bunch in so I couldn’t see. But how many pieces of meat is not important, I was just curious and asked, she did not need to overreact like that. My friend was calm enough and said«can you still make the sandwich?» After we finished eating and about to leave, the staff called us back and said«excuse me, next time if you come, I’ll never make your sandwich». What??? Did Subway really train their staff to talk to customer like this? And plus, I am not planning to come back, and my friend also. Very disappointed experience.

I used to go to this Subway a lot. Fast service and good customer service. But in the last year, it’s fallen. I order my sandwich, and she didn’t even ask if i wanted it toasted. I had to tell her TWICE that i wanted it TOASTED! Also, i was picking out the rest of my veggies and said in a rude and short manner, «Is that all, are you done.» Like, bitch, hold the fuck up in still deciding. Very rude female workers. Sloppy work. Horrible attitude. Said thanks to me and in rude manner and briskly walked off. Don’t go here.

One word to describe the service«Rude». Do these guys even know the words«thank you», «how r u», «what would you like to get«, «I am sorry«, «that’s okay«even exist. I would prefer my sandwich made by a robot than these guys :) The lady who served me misheard me saying ‘ranch’, which is perfectly fine, but what’s not acceptable is the attitude. You can’t be disgruntled because something goes wrong on your end. I wasn’t upset and not sure what the hell she was for. Completely unprofessional service. I think subway should set some standards before hiring the staff. Don’t bring in people who have no clue how to serve customers. Does the owner even care? Despite so many bad reviews still no changes !! Surprising+Amazing !!

Nothing wrong with the quality of food since Subway backs it up. Couple of issues w this location, no restroom. I have an hour lunch obviously I’m going to use the restroom at the place I eat. Another issue that’s on going is that if they have a promotion or a sticker on a wall pushing a certain product, they won’t push it. If you miss it you miss it. You usually realize it after you’ve paid more for the same product that was a buck or 2 less, just because you didn’t ask. Workers don’t look happy to be there, the females especially they act like they’re superior or they just seem they’re not happy to be there. Got a turkey and bacon foot long, just charged me extra for the bacon, that’s fine. However you’re advertising a turkey bacon avocado at the same price or less, you can simply ask a customer; «would you like this instead?». That’s called customer service I might have paid few cents more and got a lesser value because the rep failed to communicate that. They never let you know about the promotion, you usually catch it on your way out. Being nice and giving them an extra star!

I don’t really write reviews unless they are needed. The lady working here with glasses is very rude. You can tell she is not a people person. I was waiting for a tray since I told her we are eating here maybe she didn’t understand. So while I was waiting she looks at me and says what do you want in a rude manner. So naturally I made it clear she was rude. I am so irritated that I am writing this review in the location. Just sad to see how lame this place is because of the staff. Never come here again. Now she is cleaning the place slamming chairs around. Wow!!!

I just want to let you know I was a little disappointed with the service I received. With a 1 star rating, I’m surprised nothing has been done about this location. First, you were out of the bread I requested. second, neither of the ladies working knew how to price the Italian sub for which I had a ½ off coupon. So she charged me $ 4.00. Whatever, but the customer shouldn’t pay the extra when the full price was $ 7.75. Third, three times I said, only meatballs, nothing else on that sandwich, she finally had to scrape off all the extras she put on. Fourth, my 5 year old grandson needed to use the restroom as he had just gotten out of school, that request was denied. I thought ALL eat-in establishments must furnish a restroom. Came for lunch to this location. Very inconvenient for customers who want to use the rest-room to wash hands as well. The lady at the counter asked us to go to adjoining Raley’s Market to use the rest-room. Might come back again for lunch again — maybe never come back again here if I remember that they do not let customers use the rest-rooms.

Zero stars! Absolutely the worst subway ever. Frustrating just ordering! Big gap in communication. They got our whole order wrong even after repeating it nice and slowly numerous times. Bunch of cheapo’s in meat and toppings. I was so mad I wanted to report them to the subway district manager. I know subway has some guidelines on the least amount of meat/toppings to put in their sandwiches. One slice of ham in a sandwich is pathetic. Very bad customer service too!

I agree with others — go elsewhere. This Subway is located in the middle of Gateway Plaza near Raley’s and in line with a couple other eateries nearby. My fiancé and I stopped here for a quick lunch. We were going to dine in, but decided to take it home since we couldn’t use their restroom. They have a restroom in the main, dining area, but have a sign that says it’s not for the public. LAME. They also have a soda machine but actually want to CHARGE you 49 cents or something, per re-fill. SUPERLAME. Our bread was also hard and stale. Seriously, go elsewhere.

HORRIBLESERVICE! DONOTGOHERE!!! Thursday Night, My girlfriend and I went into the Subway Store to get a quick dinner before dropping her off at the Bart station. Labid, the only worker in your store rudely made our sandwiches, and got the wrong bread on one of the orders. When he was done, we sat down at around 9:18pm after finishing paying for our meal, He from behind the desk tells us that the store is closing at 9:30pm, when we clearly before walking into the store checked the closing time and it said 10pm. We walk out of the store, and try to find somewhere to sit outside, we end up not finding any sitting so we have to sit in the car. I walk in before going to sit in the car and I ask him why he said it was closing at 9:30pm if it said outside of your store closing time 10:00pm. Now he’s response was completely irrelevant. He says he had to clean up and the store to be closed by 10, now from my 9 years on the states, and going to subway for more than 30 times, late, I have never heard«we close the store at 9:30pm to clean and turn the light off at 10:00pm». This is absolutely unacceptable for such a huge restaurant chain. I asked him if he did that to go home before ten pm and he’s answer was yes, rudely with an earplug still on his ear. RUDE and UNACCEPTABLE customer service, I hope you hire better people that are not rude and lazy to close the store 30 min earlier, A disappointed customer.
