Came to Unique Nails today to get a gel manicure. I did not want to get my cuticles trimmed, because mine are super sensitive, she offered a manicure that only applied the gel for $ 18. I really liked this deal, so I jumped on board. She trimmed and filed my nails, but felt super unhygienic because she used the same emory board. The gel color was super watery and it required like 3 layers for her to make the color appear. Ami was super kind and gentle, but I wish that the gel polish itself was thicker and more pigmented, my manicure looks like more than a week old, but its bee n less than 6 hours.
I wish that other salons offered a color only gel options, and can opt out of the cuticle trimming and hand massage to save $$s.

Best pedicure I have ever had! Amy was amazing! She took her time and massaged my feet and legs for a good 20min. This is the 2nd time I have gone and I am still very happy with her service! Can’t beat the price either $ 17 for a great pedicure. I know where I will be every 2 weeks!

Eyebrow wax: was AMAZING. Not like most nail salons where they use the same stick for your entire wax (eew) very was and she takes her time. My last eyebrow lady messed up my eyebrows, I had been growing them out for 3 months so I could make them be thicker, and she waxed then all off! They were thinner than a strand of hair. But I came to unique hair and nail and she completely reconstructed my eyebrows, I am forever grateful lol

I had gone to a nail salon for gel nails, then hated them. I called Caitlin and she happily accepted the task of soaking them off which takes a long time, after which manicured my nails. She only charged me $ 10! Thanks Caitlin!

Best $ 15 haircut I’ve ever had! I have super thick, very long, curly hair. It’s not the easiest to cut. Every other place I’ve been to botches it, but Caitlyn gave me the first hair cut I’ve ever been outright happy with!

I’ve been going to Kaitlin since I was 7 years old and have been pleased with all the haircuts and eyebrow waxes I’ve gotten there for the last 10 years. If you bring a picture in to her, she’ll cut it that way and seriously, it’ll look exactly like the picture within two weeks after the cut. Some people seem dissatisfied saying that she left split ends, but you have to be reasonable. If you ask her to only trim an inch and your split ends are higher than that, don’t expect them to be gone! Also take into account that it takes about a week for your hair to look natural and not edgy and awkward after a cut.
All in all Kaitlin and the other ladies there are great hair cutters and give a great price for her cuts (usually $ 20) ! If you go there for a while, Kaitlin might even give you discounts. She does for me! :)

I use to go there all the time when I was younger when it was owned by a different person, the only thing I can say is I dont like to get my nails done there now only because I would have to go back the next day or day after to have them fixed (replaced) they would chip, break, crack… or what ever… they dont have good product for acrylic nails… :(
they are good with everything else…

Caitlin (not sure if thats correct spelling) the owner is sweet. She always greeted me by my name. I havent been there in a while since I moved to the other side of Fremont but I used to always have her or another lady there do my eyebrows. Had a couple manicures too. Shes done my hair too and it all went well [:

Great hair cut for the price. its hard to get a good flat top haircut these days … the old barber shops are dieing out. Katlin always greets me by name. She always does a great job and is quick too! Thanks Katlin! I recommend guys come here to get a cut !
