Y.K. Bridal Style

Yuli is an amazing Stylist! She is ahead of the game! I love doing make-​up and hair styling myself so it was a bit tough searching for the right stylist that will deliver what we want. Last year, I was in search for a make up and hair stylist for my sister’s wedding. I probably sent about 10 inquiries to different stylists I found online through google and Unilocal.Thank goodness for Unilocalers and their reviews. BUT Yuli’s (Y.K. Bridal Style) business page, did not have any reviews and had tons of photos. She had the most photos online which all I loved! All the other stylists and their portfolios didn’t do much for me. Yuli’s Unilocal photos stood out. And so I looked her up on facebook and found her page that directed me to more of her work, not only at weddings but photoshoots, websites, clothing, etc. Look her up (Bridal Style, Diamond Bar, CA). Her photos says a lot about her work, and you can trust her just by looking at these.
I called her right away to get her pricing and packages. She emailed me back with the details and proceeded with booking a trial. She gave us options whether to have the trial at her place or ours. We had it at her place. Their place is very cool by the way. The trial went great! All took about 2.5 hours for hair and make up. She delivered as we expected and gave my sister many looks to choose from, maybe about 5 or 6 or 7 :-D. She did not give us one dull look, all were pretty. She explained thoroughly as she went through the styling how it would look on pictures and with the dress and what accessories to use. She gave us a lot of ideas. We even got to know her better professionally.
A month before the wedding, we went back for the final trial and briefing on schedule, locations, and final pricing. She gave us a good deal for a bride, 2 bridesmaids, and mother. And even lend us accessories with no charge.
She did all our mu and hair on the day of the wedding. She came on time and we all looked and felt beautiful. :)
She resides in South California and we are from NorCal. She is willing to travel for your event. I’m not quite sure about her long distance fees. I don’t recall her charging us since her family lives in Fremont and was travelling back and forth during the time of our meet ups (around the holidays).
The only downfall throughout the whole experience is the communication. We got to a point where we thought we had to look for a different stylist a few weeks before the wedding because she wasn’t responding to our calls or emails. It turned out that she had some unexpected family issues so I totally understand but it stressed us out. She apologized for the inconvenience.
Despite of the sudden halt in communication, Yuli deserves a 5 star! I totally recommend her and I already started doing so to my friends and family. I can’t wait to work with her again in future events. :)

I had my hair and make-​up trial today, and I love her!!! I love the make-​up, natural and yet elegant. She was nice to share some make-​up tricks. She tried different styles for my hair from classic to modern. And I love all of them, good thing I still have a few months to decide which one.
My mother and sister were there and they both love her work. Definitely, she is the one to hire on our big day. And I will give an update when that day comes.

She’s amazing! I’ve tried so many trial make-​ups, but no one could do it like she did! I didn’t want to look like I was wearing a heavy layer of make-​up on my wedding day and she was just perfect for me! She made me look so gorgeous but still very natural. Two of my married bridesmaids kept saying that they wished they knew about her before their weddings. Trust me, she’s one of the most talented artists you can find =)
