update: as you can see it’s only been three days and my index finger has begun to peel. Gel nails typically last me 3 weeks. I still like it but I’m just a bit disappointed since this was $ 30

I have been to this place the most 3 times because of convenience since it’s in my neighborhood just to come to my sense that I’ll not be coming back ever again. This place is a bit unprofessional I doubt everybody there is legally licensed to conduct this procedures looks to me that they have bought their licenses and with little training they good to go. The workers rather chit chat including owners/manger and fool around than help the clientele and once you seated they are very rude like if they don’t want to perform any kind of work or get bothered when customer suggest something. Pedicures are awful their uv gel technicians needs more experience. My suggestion is that all this workers must go back to school earn their license and be a bit more friendly do better manicure, pedicure and uv gel jobs.

I came here yesterday afternoon [first time ever] for a fill-in with Alex. I called and booked an appointment for 4:30pm. — got to the salon at 4:00pm — at 4:45pm, they alerted me that Alex was double booked — really? when i’ve been waiting for 45 minutes already? — the 4:30pm client didn’t even show up until 5pm… — Angela was assigned to do my nails — absolutely no customer service regarding their mistake of double booking for 4:30pm. I was livid. — the ladies in the salon(receptionist and workers) gossiped(about me) for over ONEHOUR right next to me, super loud. — I went in for a FILL-IN. I wanted a minimalist design from their Unilocal photos. removal of old set — $ 5 new set — $ 35 for the design, Angela said that i could only do that with color gel — $ 15 design itself — $ 30 $ 85 for a new set with half nail color and 2 gems? You’re fcking ridiculous. ABSOLUTELYINSANE. –wasted 3 hours of my life in this salon because it took FOREVER. — — — — — — — — — — — — — I was like NOWAY to an extra $ 45 for the design. I might’ve looked a little bummy in my sweat suit, but it was FREEZING, and don’t ever get me fcked up — I have money, so don’t turn up your nose because I find $ 45OUTRAGEOUS for minimal nail design. — Angela did a good job with my nails, and she was okay(not very talkative), but she was very slow and the only reason this place gets ONESTAR. — it was a complete waste of TIME, GAS, and MONEY to come to this poorly run salon. They need some customer service skills. — they show preferential treatment to their fellow Chinese clients. It was blatantly obvious.

They said it’ll take 10 min for my turn to get a pedicure. So I said I’ll come right back. Im back after 10 min and guess what happened? They decided to seat other people first. Whatever they lost a customer who was coming in every month for mani/pedi. Also they told me it would be a 20 min wait now. GTFO! (Update: I was here once before and the manicure was awesome, came back again since the accident but didn’t dare to come during busy hours and everything was amazing)

Had a body massage(groupon) and mani-pedi package(got 20% off by checking in using Unilocal app) Massage was okay, pressure was not too heavy. It was relaxing somehow, but she forgot to massage my thighs and fore arms and she didn’t give a scalp massage(in other spas, they include massaging your scalp). She only massaged the back part of the body. I was lying on my stomach the whole time. I think she spent like 40 minutes just massaging my back. So it was just okay. As for the mani-pedi: They have a vast selection of nail polishes they have the good brands here too. Regular Manicure was good. They opened the sanitized packet of tools in front of me. I didn’t get the name of the person who did my nails. Soooooo, whoever you are, you did a good job. Regular Pedicure was good, too. I was seated comfortably on a chair massager(they don’t recline, boohoo! I felt like I slumped through the whole pedi session) soaked my foot(at first the water was too hot, so they adjusted the water temp.), they opened another set of sanitized packet of tools for my pedi, scrubbed my legs and got a slight foot massage, but still really good. They didn’t give me a fruit cup. I was actually looking forward to it. I’ve been here for like 3 hours. But no fruit cup. Nada. I’m on the hunt of the best nail salons in flushing/fresh meadows area, and i’ll put this on my list, even if they didn’t give me a fruit cup.

This place just open and it is a gem! I was greeted by Jennifer who took her time helping me to pick out color for my pedicure and manicure. She also took the time to figure out what design I wanted to do today. Alex did such a PHENOMENAL job with my nails! He is so polite and knows exactly how to shape nails and he is an expert on UV gel! Ask for Alex if you want amazing nails, shape and design!!!

I really love this nail spa since it located 164St. Because it’s close my house and easy parking. Every time I only need Alex to make UV gel. His Skii also amazing that my special nail can keep almost one month. I only love that nail salon.

I recently moved here from Florida and was upset to leave my favorite nail salon but after finding this salon, I’m so satisfied and no longer sad. Alex took care of me and her was so great. he was patient and really nice. I showed him what I originally wanted and he gave me ideas on how to improve it. I couldn’t be happier. he took his time and made sure every nail was perfect. this is my new favorite salon

First and most likely last time I will be coming here. I came in and was greeted with a 20 minute wait. I don’t mind waiting, I usually have to, but I’ve never been told to wait for 20 minutes while there are three clients and two nail tecs sitting around doing nothing. The front desk worker said, «We’re going to start with your pedicure in two minutes.» After two minutes her friend walked in the door with whom she joked around and laughed, then gave HERFRIEND the pedicure chair that was supposed to be mine. Another 15 minutes went by. They decided to do my fill-in first so that her friend could start her pedicure before me. I arrived at 2:45 and didn’t leave until 8:00, no exaggeration. I do have to say, the tec who did my nails was outstanding. My fill-in and pedicure were done with a ridiculous amount of care and attention to detail, so I can’t complain about that. I also got a ten minute massage, one of the best I’ve ever had. I did not check prices beforehand. However, this all came out to about $ 90.00 with tip. This is INSANE. I’ve had this same exact package done every two weeks for years at many different salons, depending on where I am. I’ve never even been charged close to this amount, maybe $ 55 with tip at most. Although the actual nail tec was AMAZING, I would never come back here again. Highway robbery and the immature, unprofessional«hostess» or whatever she was completely turned me off. I was also told my toes were dry at the end, but by the time I got to my car they were completely smudged.

I can not say anything but good things about this salon. Very clean. Angela did an excellent job and color coordinated everything I needed especially for the dress code at my job. From my color indecisiveness to my job requirements angela had my back. This is going to be my regular place from now on.

I got a french manicure with silver lining and it came out to $ 17. Without the silver lining, it’s $ 12. I thought the price was pretty decent, similar to what you would find if you were in main street. It’s a very clean and tidy place. All the utensils they use comes out of a packet and they use disposable bowls for you to dip your finger nails in before they start cleaning your cuticles. What made me give this place 3 stars was that the lady who did my nails was a bit sloppy. She got some of the white polish on my skin and she didn’t bother cleaning that up for me. With the silver lining, she dipped the brush in the polish and I guess it was a bad polish cause it came out very gunky on my nails but she didn’t take the time to smooth it out for me, so i have this huge glob of silver on one of my nails and the rest of the line is flat and smooth. Maybe I will come back and ask for Alex next time since everyone who had him work on their nails seem very satisfied. PS: The workers talk about customers in Chinese.

Not impressed despite high expectations for a new salon. They didn’t let my gel soak off long enough and the technician sat there scraping the living hell out of my nails… That was a red flag right there. My technician let me dip my fingers in water before my nails were filed. I remembered too late that I should not wet my nails before filing because that can cause splitting and cracking but a licensed technician should’ve known that from the beginning. Strike two for me. During the manicure, he kept painting on my skin and proceeded to wipe it off with his nail. That bothers me because it happened after each swipe of the brush(I’m not exaggerating. Idk why he needed to do it so often.) Also, I cracked my knuckles and he told me that it was weird and creepy. FYI, you can walk up to me and tell me that and I won’t mind. But if I’m paying for a service to get my nails done, I don’t need to be told that. The finished product includes painfully sharp corners that keep I scratching my face with, air bubbles, a split nail(I can tell because there’s a lift under the smooth color over my nail), messy cuticles, a cluster of air bubbles in one small pinky nail and just an overall uneven manicure… I wish I could be more helpful by telling you who it is but just sad I paid for something I could’ve done myself(I always get plenty of air bubbles on my own, went to a salon to avoid that…)

I am glad this place opened in my neighborhood. They get very busy because there’s not much around here, so calling ahead to make an appointment is suggested. It is nice and exceedingly clean. They get a separate and sterilized tool kit for each customer. Yes, shockingly clean for a place in Queens. The service was very good. The people who work there speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English. The prices are higher and the ambiance is better than the average nail place in Queens. Honestly, they prices are steep but you get very good service. They seem to be known for nail art and tips. It was worth it to treat myself, but I can’t make it a regular thing. A manicure costs $ 9 and I also got a gel pedicure. The pedicure is still intact although it has been over 2 weeks, so I’m very happy with that. The manicure also lasted more than usual, but I think he could have painted an extra coat on. The guy who did my nails had a lot of attention to details and really took his time to do everything right.
