LP and Company

I have been going to LP and Co for years. I’m ashamed that I’m only now getting around to rating it. Here are a few highlights:
Price: I’m still amazed by how affordable services are here. In a city where most salon visits can have you spending $ 150+, LP really keeps high quality services obtainable
Quality staff: The stylists are fantastic and many have been there for years. When I have seen Renee, she was somehow able to understand what I was asking for and has delivered every time. I also have to recommend Olga, who has done great work on myself and others I’ve seen. Deirdre is also one of those rare stylists who know how to cut curly hair. I’ve never had my hair cut by Brad or Larry but I’ve known people who went to them and their hair looks great.
So many services: Hair styling, manicures, pedicures, waxing, you name it. Its a one stop shop and everything is affordable.
There is also a real community feel that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Check it out for yourself!

I’m glad I’m not the first person to mention Renee on this board. She is an incredibly talented colorist. She is able to bring a real depth to your hair color. I couldn’t recommend her more.

I brought my daughter here to get her hair and nails done before taking her to a concert and what a day to pass by!
Mr. Larry and his staff were hosting a holiday party for the disabled.
We walked in and saw superman, batman, Elmo, Elsa, Santa Claus and Marines in uniform all handing out toys to disabled children and adults alike. Even my daughter left with a photo and gift from Santa!
They were also providing them with free haircuts, hairstyling and taking care of their nails.
There were music, bagels, pastries, juices, coffee and all kinds of treats. Everyone was taking photos, dancing and having a great time.
Just seeing the generosity of the staff of LP salon was enough for them to keep me as a customer for years to come.
It’s so refreshing to see such compassion in this cold world we live in.
Alicia did fishtail braids for my daughter and they looked wonderful.
Such a great staff, you really feel like family when here.

My first visit to a salon where the people and their vibes made me feel like a part of their family. Every single person was easy to speak to, and I’m very antisocial so I was surprised at how much I was talking. I had quite a lot done so I got to meet several people. Renee bleached my hair with this God-​sent bleach so your hair is as least damaged as possible. Next Maria shampooed my hair, and helped Renee color it. Then Brad had all this info about YouTube and the Beatles, I didn’t even realize my haircut was done! He did this random crazy but awesome style on the side of my head so we kept talking. Larry didn’t do my hair but was hanging out with us. Go here!

Love the shop! They use IONA color if you ask~ so ASK! Brad is marvelous for cutting and styling! Get a manicure and pedicure (top notch) for $ 20 on Tuesday’s or Wednesdays. There are two colorists and both are terrific. Renee is a masterful colorist who makes you look completely natural but better. Meters are outside for parking and they will gladly run and feed your meter for you. Give them a try.

I have been going to LP and Company for years to get my hair dyed and colored. While I usually go to Renee, both of the salon’s colorists are talented. They provide great feedback and do wonderful work. Denise is a fantastic stylist who I would definitely recommend for people with straight and curly hair.
