I had a worst experience with this rude indian pharm tech. I went to pick up my rx 45 mins before closing. My rx wasnt ready cos my insurance card wasnt updated. I understand having to wait a little longer. The pharm tech told me to wait until my name is called. I waited until the closing time. A Shutter went down yet my name wasnt called. I had to speak to a pharmacist through the closed shutter. And guess what my med is not even registered. I had waited almost an hour for this? Rite aid really needs to train their techs to be more respectful.

The sale’s here suck, everything is overpriced even on sale. It takes forever to check out. The parking lot is also pretty tight. I actually liked it better when it was an Eckerd Pharmacy. I only come here if I absolutely have to. I prefer the Kissena Blvd and Union Turnpike locations over this one any day!

Terrible service. The line is always long and the workers never seem to care how long the customers have to wait. Three stars because it is still a rite aid and you can’t expect much from a pharmacy.

Always long lines with only one incompetent cashier. Store is always out of stock of regular items like gallon of milk or sale items. Wait at pharmacy is ridiculous went for my prescription for allergy meds this summer. Girl at drop off tells me 30 minutes while she goes back to chat with the other old women working there. Even though store was a ghost town that day. It seems that talking is more important than work. New management needed ASAP!

Clerk claims it’s store policy to check everyone’s i.d. for alcohol purchases. At 65 years of age, I find this policy anal and unnecessary. Needless to say … I will not shop here again.

Fairly well stocked, everything from housewares to snacks to bath products and of course their pharmacy. They are now open 24 hours and that is really something that was desperately needed in this area. The pharmacy is well stocked, I have never been told that I needed to come back in several days and given a partial prescription because they did not have enough in stock. They are located near other shopping and have a front and rear parking lot which is very convenient. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and friendly and will check your other prescriptions as to avoid any negative reactions as well as recommend a better product that may have less side effects or be better for what ails you. Check out can be a little slow, another check out counter is needed and maybe some floor staff to help you navigate through all the aisles to find what you are looking for.

If I could give this Rite Aid zero stars, I would. In all seriousness, WORST drug store I have EVER been to — and I like to consider myself a drug store aficionado. Lines are ALWAYS long, no matter what time it may be. The store is severely understaffed and the employees are incompetent(even including the pharmacy crew). In addition, it is constantly dirty and items are all over the place. Just to give a few examples 1 — I came to pick up pain medication at my scheduled pickup time(note: I was in PAIN) and was told the pharmacist was on lunch and I would have to wait. ON. LUNCH. Hey Rite Aid, why don’t you plan for someone to cover the pharmacist when they’re on lunch? Needless to say, was in pain for another five hours until I could come back after work. 2 — Another time, I waited 20 minutes to pay for my items, selected I wanted cash back when paying with my debit card and was told the drawer was empty and I would have to wait to recheck out by the next attendant.(Please note this was not mentioned to me before I paid — what if I was paying cash? Was everyone paying with exact change?) While waiting for the next attendant, her scanner broke. She calls the manager. After waiting another 10 minutes for the manager, he simply tells her to go use the other register. AHUAGHUSDHKAJLAGDHS. I would NEVER go here after the numerous horrendous experiences I’ve had however, it’s only two blocks from my apartment. After some recent experiences though, I have officially blacklisted this Fresh Meadows Rite Aid.

Ughhhh!!! WORSTRITEAID wait. nono… WORSTSTOREEVER. If the lady who gave me 18 dollars in dollar bills is reading this review, i really hope you f*** yourself!!! I noticed that she was giving me change in dollar bills only, so i told het it would be nice if you mix a 5 or 10 dollar bill in there, and she ignored me as if I didnt exist. I respectfully told her again, and she said she had no 5 or 10 dollar bills WHEN I CANCLEARLYSEETHEMINTHECASHIER(in stacks hah.). I got pissed off and told her I want to talk to manager, and she ignored me again and again and again. You lady, if I run into you ever again, be prepared. DONTGOHEREIFYOUDONTWANTTORUINYOURDAY

In general, I think Rite Aid is a pretty fantastic place what with the Wellness+ cards and discounts. This location, however, does leave some things to be desired(though it’s not as terrible as the 24-hour location on Parsons and Union Turnpike). Lines are generally long and semi-slow; sometimes only one register is open. The pharmacy can experience similar wait times. And the store doesn’t ever look very clean. But on the plus side, the shelves are fairly well stocked and the employees are kind. And the Wellness+ benefits are fantastic.
