Applebee’s

Worst applebees in the town. Our waitress was ok but has i ordered my meal i was informed they didnt have it. I tried again and they didnt have my other option, went on a couple more times. How do u not have mashed potatoes or steak or mac n cheese or ribs. To top it all off it was my birthday

I went in with low expectations because my first experience was beyond awful. I’m proud to say that my second visit wasn’t a saving grace for visiting Applebee’s. I give you the short story, don’t go to Applebee’s. Period.

Love the late night happy hour! They have great drinks and deals on appetizers! Football Sundays are the best! They have every game on! Having an east coast team, I don’t always get to see my Panthers play, so we always head there!

Food is fine but now their so cheap to give you enough food everything now is cut in half from what it used to be. When I’m paying the same price for my food I don’t expect to be getting half of it. Very upset about this situation and when I asked a server about it they said they measure it with a spoon umm I was here two days ago I had more in my dip then. Didn’t offer to fix the situation just said that’s how it is. Not coming here again

Met up with old friend from school. Sat in the bar area. Between the great service and happy hour deals we had a great time.

Hey what can I say sometimes it’s 10 pm and everything in Fresno is closed or getting ready to close and all you want are some appetizers and drinks. This location has to be the best one in Fresno by far. The waitress did bring us the wrong wings though even though we said we wanted bone in, she brought boneless but hey it is an Applebee’s.

Came here with a bunch of people for my friends birthday celebration and they were sooooo accommodating! The food came out hot and fairly quickly given how large our party was.
The bartender was also very accommodating by making some fruity shots for the birthday girl! I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat.

I visited this particular Applebee’s because of it’s location near riverpark. This was my first visit to Applebee’s in months and was craving their oriental chicken salad. My mother and I were seated quickly. I decided to order the new Thai shrimp salad, and my mom ordered the riblet basket with and appetizer of honey BBQ wings. The appetizers came fast and hot… BUT when the waitress set them down on the table I realized things had definitely changed since my last visit. The portion seemed sparse compared to what I remember and they came on this awful cookie sheet. It looked like they had just taken them out of the oven and didn’t even bother to plate it. When our main course came again I was displeased with the portion size. For 13 dollars I maybe got two handfuls of salad, not to mention I got a sodium headache from the overkill of the Thai dressing. Their new «plating» motif looks lazy, and their portion sizes are smaller… but your still paying the old price for these downsized items. Okay food. Nothing really to brag about. 3 stars for the speed and convenience THAT’S ABOUT IT.

Rarely write reviews but service last night was terrible. Waitress never once asked if we needed anything. When she dropped off a drink, she would basically turn and run away before we could even order anything every time. We had to use the on table ordering device to get her attention and it still took 15 minutes to get a beer. Didn’t seem like they wanted us to order. I understand they were a little busy but she was even rude when we said we wanted to order another drink. Hopefully their service turns around because I used to like this place.

I love this Applebee’s — the bartender Celeste is the greatest bartender and Curtis Is a great manager — I can’t get into details because I had a few drinks– but these people make Applebee’s AWSOME!!! I’m definitely coming back! I’m having a great time! I have lots of food– lots of beer and having a great time for under $ 35– me and my girlfriend are definitely coming back to this location !!

I noticed the last time I was here I mentioned I want to try the Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken and guess what that’s what I decided to have today. Great choice: the chicken is tender and moist (I usually don’t like white meat), very lemony, I love anything lemon. Best of all it has quinoa, cranberries, zucchini and green apple relish. Super yummy, perfection!!!

I just finished eatting at Applebee’s this evening and came home to write this review.
We arrived around 5:00pm for some happy hour appetizers. The hostess appeared new and kind of lost, but that wasn’t a big deal in my opinion. We sat down and were greeted by our server, Jessica C, quickly.
I placed our food order at the same time as our drink order. The drinks came to our table about 7 – 10 minutes after placing it which seemed extended in my opinion since the restaurant was not full and there were not a lot of people in the place.
About 5 minutes later our food is delivered by another waitress. I asked that waitress for some small plates since we only ordered appetizers and she said she was get them. Well, she never got them.
Between 5 – 7 minutes later our waitress came back and said she would check on our last dish. I was able to ask her to get the small plates, which she brought back with the last dish quickly.
I would say 5 minutes into eating our meal, our waitress came and checked on us and then she was gone. She didn’t once check on us. Our waters were empty for a majority of our meal. The waitress mentioned earlier in regards to the small plates? Yeah, her section was right next to us. She brought out a pitcher of water to serve HER customers, but no one else. Obviously this place is not big on the «team work» moto because as I started watching the dynamic, it was obvious.
Finally our server came back to ask if we needed boxes. I told her we did and asked for water. Another 10-​ish minutes later she came with our boxes and water.
I am so disappointed with this experience.
I am not going back there to eat again. There are so many other options and places that act as though your business matters.

I’ve only been to Applebee’s once before. This was before my Unilocaling days. We walked in to be seated immediately, which is surprising due to the fact is was happy hour and the world series was on. Our server Jeff was not very attentive at first. It took forever for us to get our beverages. Food was mediocre. I was waiting for him to come back and check on us so I could order another beer. Once I found him, I could see why he was behind. He was literally working the whole outside of the bar. 4 tables with a party of four. 3 tables of a party of two. And 1 big table of 6.
After we closed our check, we decided to stick around and have another drink while watching the game. Jeff was very understandable. At that point I made him aware of how I observed him running around like a chicken with his head cut off. His reply «We’re usually not this busy, and every table I’ve had has been a group of four or more» We closed our check and noticed the time. It was almost 9pm. So, we stuck around for happy hour. By this time, everything had slowed down and our server was more attentive to us. (Plus, We invited more people… hey, it’s happy hour)
We probably closed out 3 different checks, but our server didn’t seem to mind. He was actually very humorous!!! By the last check, I was impressed by his complete 180 of service, I told him we would return… only during late night happy hour. And as long as he was our sever

Get in at 10pm for my dad for a birthday dinner and some happy hour drinks.
The waitress’ name was Michelle, I think. Got out the drinks and the appetizer in 10 – 15. Another 10 – 15 minutes, we got the entrée’s. Then she just disappeared and never came back. Our drinks are empty, we didn’t have glasses of water either so we’re pretty thirsty. But we decide to wait a little bit to see if she’ll show up. A half an hour goes by, she’s still gone. Where the f*ck did she go? I don’t know. So we ask another waiter passing by, «Hey, can you find out where our waitress went?» He starts searching the whole restaurant (mind you, it’s not busy and there’s not a lot of people inside). I hear him ask a co-​worker, «Hey, Michelle’s nowhere to be found, do you know where she is?» The girls says, «I don’t know. She should turn up. She always does this.» OK. Nice to know.
So he tells us that she «might» be in the bathroom. Sooner or later she comes back and asks if everything is okay. «We just want a refill on our drinks.»
Takes 15 minutes for two drinks.
Getting even more irritated at this point.
And she f*cking just disappeared again. So we ask someone else to get the check. Jason, who had gotten our check, had been more attentive in the whole 5 minutes he served us, than Michelle in the last 2 hours that she was SUPPOSE to serve us. We won’t be back.

Slowest service ever. It took over 30 minutes to just get our drinks. We waited over an hour before appetizers were served. Unbelievable!

I usually go here for their after 10 PM happy hour. Their drink specials have been reduced in choices, but I mostly go for their appetizers anyway.
Ahhh! Those wonton tacos! You need to try them! The shells are very crispy with just the right amount of sauce. Their appetizer menu is small too, but they are good options for an awesome price (during happy hour, of course).
Service is super slow though… which is why I’m leaving 4 stars. Nice, but snail paced service. This is definitely a good spot to hit after hours since Fresno tends to go to sleep after 9 PM.

Went today and it was miserably cold in there! I was actually shivering! Plus the restroom was filthy! Plus no toilet paper in the stalls! Never again!!!

It’s nice but super super slow. Took forever to get our food. And it was super cold in the restaurant. Food is good and service was decent.

I came here for a mothers day breakfast. Pancakes, bacon and eggs were on the menu. My mom liked it but for me not so much. The pancakes were dry and tasteless. For a minute, I thought I was at Dennys.
Sorry I wont be back. But if dry eggs and pancakes are your main thrill go for it!

My coworkers gave me a $ 25 gift card as a going away gift, so of course we had to use it! And what better way than during Happy Hour!
Service: We were greeted and seated right away with no hassle or wait time. Our waiter made sure that I had a drink in hand at all times and any condiments and utensils were delivered promptly.
The food:
$ 4 for chicken wonton tacos. There were four tacos that accompanied this crunchy and flavorful dish. Very yummy!
$ 4 Beef Sliders. The sliders were on Ciabatta bread. I thought I wasn’t going to like it, but was pleasantly surprised. The bread was soft and held the slider together!
The drinks: STRONG!
The hubcap and I had 3 drinks each. With the drink specials starting at $ 3, we couldn’t refuse! Since beers were a $ 1 off, the hubcap had 3 different kinds. I don’t remember what he had because I was enjoying myself. I had 2 long island ice teas and 1 martini. At one point I was double fisting. The drinks were so strong that the hubcap cut me off. It could also be because I drank 2 of the drinks in less than 30 minutes?
Food was good, drinks were strong, service was prompt; which made our Fridate successful!
We would definitely come back for Happy Hour!
