I usually never give bad reviews but… Just went there for breakfast and it was not that good. I got the chorizo burrito with biscuits and gravy on the side, it came with hash-browns that tasted soggy, the biscuits themselves were not what I expected at all, really sweet dark, grainy … The gravy was good tho, &the burrito wasn’t that bad, but the silverware looked chipped and a little grimy. I didn’t like it at all but I felt bad and tried to eat as much as I could … ;(

Food was delicious, portions were ginormous and service was friendly. The kitchen whipped out our food fast. I’d post a picture of the deliciousness but we ate it too fast. Thumbs up!

Stellar service. Refills for days. Veggie omlette was killer. Cowboy potatoes were fantastic. I’m not a fan of country music… It was playing pretty loud, but other than that, easy 5 stars.

First and last time I will be coming to this restaurant! We arrived a little after 8am on a Sunday. As we arrived we noticed the parking lot was nearly empty. We were immediately seated at a table with a well worn laminate top. Looking around the restaurant I noticed three well worn male customers who appeared to be regulars. The waitress came by took our orders, brought our drinks, and food. I ordered a Denver Omelet with Country Potatoes and toast. My friend ordered a vegie omelet with biscuits & gravy and fruit. Price was $ 12.99 for each omelet which I thought was on the steep side. The food was 3 stars… nothing bad or good. Service was 3 stars. Cleanliness was 2 stars(didn’t use the restroom). Now the reason I gave the restaurant a 1 star rating. As I was sitting I noticed the following that most likely are health code violations: 1. An employee behind the counter munching on bacon. 2. An employee drinking from a can of Red Bull hidden behind the counter 3. The manager(owner) drinking coffee from a Styrofoam cup while he was behind the counter 4. An employee spraying(lotion?) on the arms of another employee behind the counter. 5. About 8 employees behind the counter just shooting the bull with one another while waiting for things to get busy. 6. One employee was reading a newspaper behind the counter(This has been noted in other customer’s reviews) 7. Two employees sat down at a table with one of the regulars shooting the bull. 8. Instead of using jelly packets, they use a lidded tri-container carousel for jelly. You use a plastic spoon to dip into the container, spoon out the jelly, and place upon your toast. I’d hate to know the bacteria count in those containers! 9. One of the servers was chewing gum(or tobacco?). 10. Cashier was non attentive while I was paying. She was busy shooting the bull with another employee. I’d hate to see how things are being run in the kitchen!

So sad… expecting a decent breakfast here but was let down. Ordered huevos rancheros with a side of fruit. Let’s start with the fruit. Come on BJ’s! We live in the fruit basket of the world! There’s no reason that fruit should be soft & taste like all the other pieces of fruit in the fruit cup. Each piece of fruit should have its own distinctive taste! We were both guessing fruit must have been cut & fresh three days before & left in the refrigerator same amount of time before being served. As for the huevos rancheros.,.since when are they covered with stewed CANNED tomatoes and smothered with cheese? A true huevos ranchero sauce is comprised of Sliced red & green peppers, garlic, onion, chili peppers, chili powder, plum tomatoes, cilantro & to cut down the acidity of the tomatoes a pinch of salt, cilantro(optional). If you MUST add cheese save yourself the money & just add a hint of it! DONOT hide the huevos rancheros underneath it, as it was served to me this morning!

This is the first and last time i will be coming here! Pros: the prices are reasonable and the portions are great! Cons: our food took forever to come out, the people that got here after us got there food first. The food is not that good, i mean its good enough to eat it but not great.

What happened to this place? My favorite bj’s was this one. The staff was always nice and food was good and came out fast. Now the service is awful and the place is sticky. I’ve given it a few second chances since it used to always be my favorite place. After today I won’t go back again. Asked for creamer for my coffee twice never got it. The omelet was mostly cheese and one(time not today) my pancake was raw in the middle.

An OCD/clean freak nightmare! mom and pop/privately owned business are WAY cleaner than this place. for heavens sake, even Denny’s and IHOP beat this place out, bar none. it’s outdated… the service we had was very impersonal, and their food was below average. oh, and don’t get me started on my personally labeled«community preserves». I ordered toast, and was asked if I wanted jelly to go with it. I agreed. our server goes to another table, grabs a trio of preserves in a tri-serving carousel with plastic spoons and lord knows what. people could be dipping their tainted fingers in that thing and STILL they wouldn’t know. two words: SOGROSS! our waitress was more attentive to a table that she personally knew and only visited us once after our food was served. she must’ve visited them 6 times… quite terrible if you ask me. I absolutely am not coming back. maybe if they clean up shop, restaff and retrain their crew… but not in a long while.

I love this location! The staff is very friendly, the portions are huge, and the price is decent. I had the pancake combo today and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. I have been to other BJ’s and have not had as good service or tasty meals as I had here today. I will definitely come again!

I thought this place was okay. It was my first time and we were here for brunch. I had a combo with eggs, french toast and sausage. I wasn’t a big fan of their french toast and I regretted not getting pancakes instead. Sausage and eggs were fine; it’s kind of hard to mess up eggs and sausage anyways. Service was good. Food came out pretty quickly. One thing that amazed me(not in a bad or good way) I want to mention is that they give you a super-size cup if you order soda or ask for water. Humongous. My party said their stuff was okay, moderate. I think the price is a little big pricey for brunch/lunch for their quality and portion. Also, if you’re over 100, you eat free!

Well let me start by saying that I have been a customer for years. I enjoy the chicken fried steak. The biscuits and gravy are good. You guys have to remember one thing though. Customer service is everything. I took my family in this morning as we do every other Sunday and was suprised by the treatment by the greeter/waitress. She didn’t greet us. Her conversation opened«how many people» no good morning, no smile, nothing. She then grabbed the menus and walked off, dropped them on a table and then walked away. We stood there confused. She then turns around points and says«oh right there». It was rude. We sat ourselves. Some other guy then walks up(I think he was the bus boy) and offered drinks. After he walks away I see our waitress texting on her cell phone the other waitress is reading the Sunday ads. Our waitress then starts drinking her soda and gives me a look of death, puts her soda down and walks into the back. We got up and left. Usually when some one looks at their waitress they get acknowledged with kindness. This lady made us feel unwelcomed. I don’t think we will be back. I will tell you something and I hope it comes across the right way… Smile at your customers, it makes a difference. You always have to be 110% in customer service. If you bring any less, this will be the result. The service today was very sub par. These people need to be trained. I have never walked out of a restaurant, so hopefully that shows just how negative the experie was.

We go here often after church for breakfast. Today was not good food. Potatoes were greasy and not good. Bathrooms were bad with leaking water on the floor. This place needs a desperate make-over.

BJs always been a great place to go for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy is good but the gravy is so thick and heavy cannot even finish it when eating other stuff with it. I personally like gravy that isn’t quite so heavy. The pancakes and omelets are good here as well. I like the potatoes too. The waitresses are a hoot too with them calling you sugar and sweetie. Also seems that most customers over 50!

Best breakfast in town! The Chicken Fried Steak and biscuits and gravy are my favorites. The staff is always super friendly and down to earth. They get pretty busy on the weekends but they are quick to get you seated and get your food served to you hot and promptly.

We’ve loved BJ’s Country Kitchen for 26 years now! Their track record with us has be above & beyond our expectations. If I was going to worry about the floors, the plastic cups, or someone else’s kitchen I’d just eat at home & never go out. We had a party of 12 it was busy and we only waited 25 minutes. The service was excellent & the timing of the servers was perfect. We were in & out in less than 60 minutes & there was no rush at all. The biscuits and gravy are phenomenal & they have plenty of choices for your breakfast & brunch choices. For us this has been the best neighborhood restaurant 26 years running. Thanks BJ’s Country Kitchen for making us feel like a family! Cheers!

Honestly every time I eat here I always tell myself to never go back. The food really has no flavor. The service is quick and food doesnt take very long to get to the table, but thats all I can say positive. I ordered the mexican omelette with biscuits and gravy. I could not believe how much salt I needed to use just to get some flavor out of the food. And what really sucked was the price, $ 13 is way too much to pay for breakfast. This place has been around forever maybe a little too long. Charging those kind of prices this place should be able to hire a chef to come in and revamp the menu. Also maybe some fresh produce and ingredients instead of the prepackaged, frozen, canned items that are being thrown on a plate and covered with cheese or gravy. I can get a more flavorful and cheaper breakfast at Mimi’s and some wine/cocktails along with it.

This place has an unreal breakfast selection! I went in with two friends and every dish was absolutely delicious. You wouldn’t expect it to be so good since it’s a very low key place but boy was it amazing! Very crowded as well so that shows something! Our server was a sweetheart as well and we appreciated that she gave her honest opinion on the breakfast burrito and explained how the sauce that comes with it was chunky tomatoes in the burrito so my friend decided to opt out, and of course she ended up loving it! We left her a good tip because we were very impressed with the service. Not once were our water glasses or coffee mugs even close to empty because they were constantly getting refilled! A+++ I’ll definitely be going back!

2 stars for service. Wait staff was pretty awesome, quick service. Ordered the biscuit sandwich. It was 3 – 4 biscuits placed on a plate, 2 eggs and sausage placed on top then drenched in white gravy. Gravy was tasteless and biscuits were like flour muffins. Definitely wasn’t worth my $ 15.

Solid 4 star for good food and excellent customer service. This place is a bit run down(old building) but they do a good job at keeping it clean and tidy. I was greeted with a smile and service was on point from start to finish. This is not easy when you have a full restaurant so kudos to the staff. So now the flaw. I frequently order a veggie omelette with coffee at different restaurants. Today was no different but the price was higher than usual. IMHO my meal should cost $ 11-$ 14 and it does almost every time. Today I paid $ 17.70 w tip= $ 20, ouch!
