Best breakfast in town. Small restaurant and worth the wait. Bacon gravy was wonderful and the crab cake Benedict a delight. Loved the coffee press leaving the pot on the table. Hip place. Hope they grow out of the small into bigger, comfy. Proud of this place. Fres-Yes!

This will be one of my favorite places to have breakfast. I had the French Toast fritters(4-they’re bite size), two sunny side eggs, and 2 sausages. I also had a milk, it was a huge glass jug, which I was very happy about. I love milk and usually finish a glass very quickly. The French toast fritters were crispy on the outside and flaky in the inside. The eggs were good but the sausage was amazing. I’ve never had sausages that big! My daughter had the kids pancake with hash browns. She also loved her meal. I ended up ordering the hot chocolate with whipped cream. It was thick, very flavorful. A big difference to the usual nestle hot chocolate most breakfast places like to offer. The chalkboard tables are entertaining, not that you need much entertainment, they have great service. I can’t wait to go back and try the other items.

I hope you like bacon! Good restaurant in a tight location. Hopefully they make enough to expand their spot.

I go to gazebo gardens on a regular basis and the benadiction truck is one of the first places my family always visits. Normally I would rate the food 5* but this time no. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon. The cheese on the inside was not melted. The coverage of cheese on the outside was small. Service was slow(I ordered here first then from 3 other trucks my padthai, rice bowl, and tacos all were ready before my grilled cheese). When I asked the cook about the order he seemed rude. The sandwich was so bad my 4 year old didn’t want it(it is her FAVORITE). I tried it and had to spit my 3rd bite out(bad bacon or something). Usually a good experience but not this time. =(

My girlfriend took me here a little while back, We got take out. Our food didn’t take terribly long, and it tasted pretty damn good. The only problem we had was my girlfriend ordered the sandwich, but she got the plate, although they did apologize and charged us for the sandwich. So pretty nice place

Benaddiction tends to go to Bella Fruita on the weekends with a couple other food trucks and since there was a huge line, I figured must be good right? Wrong, can you say cheese? I love cheese don’t get me wrong but really, 2 cups of cheese just seems too much and that’s exactly how it tasted. I had the chicken wrap can’t remember what it’s called but it’s the only wrap on the menu. I couldn’t find the chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, nothing because the cheese was just engulfed in it. It was actually so disguising that I threw it away, I was really sad because I was $ 8 poorer and still hungry. Would I try again? No thanks!

This is definitely gourmet. Not your everyday breakfast burrito. Instead of plain flour tortillas I was surprised to get a spinach tortilla on my Nickle Bag breakfast burrito. Only five dollars! Excellent amount of thick bacon, cheese, potatoes and eggs and a simple spread of their hollandaise sauce not runny or overwhelming. We ordered by phone and picked up from the brick and mortar on marks and Bullard. My husband called from the car as he ate his on the way to work, just to tell me how much he enjoyed it. My two year old is going to try their French toast bites next time! Probably need to give their new staff some time to get things down before we eat in…

Delicious!!! We tried this for the first time at Gazebo Gardens a couple months ago and it was so good. The combinations they’ve thought of are incredible. I got the 99 problems wrap and my husband got the don’t stop believing sandwich. Can’t wait to try more :)

We love everything about this Neighborhood establishment. The moment you walk in you seat yourself where ever you can. We love the casual and fun vibe this place has. Our server Chad said he is an artist and helped create the artwork on the walls. I love a business that utilizes the talents of its employees to the fullest. It creates a great sense of pride in the business. The service is outstanding! The Food was full of flavor and as a foodie I appreciate when I don’t have to reach for the salt and pepper. I ordered the Tom Sawyer and Rod ordered the Blueberry Pancakes. My Tom Sawyer was amazing. I love eggs Benedict and it is my «Go To» breakfast choice. It was so tasty I want to try every single egg Benedict dish he has on the menu. The Hollandaise was tangy and had the perfect balance of spice. It paired well with the fried eggs, potatoes and crispy bacon. Rods blueberry pancakes were amazing too it came with the best scrambled eggs. The eggs were creamy and not overdone! Good job and we are looking forward to our next visit. Bravo. … oh wait… the coffee is served in a French Press! What! ok. now I am done and my tummy is full of Happiness!

I got the pulled pork which was absolutely delicious, the only problem was the giant hard chunks of bacon they put in it, I was thinking they were going to add strips of bacon to my sandwich, this was not the case but they were easily removable and I enjoyed the rest of my pulled pork.

Thanks to Gazebo Gardens starting a weekly Thursday thru Saturday night food truck event with multiple food trucks, a wine and beer bar, and live music, I stumbled across the Benaddiction food truck. The first thing to catch my eye was the way all of their menu items were named after songs from various genres of music, all of which I happened to know and love. Obviously I had to stop and give them a closer look. They had all kinds of sammies and things filled with tasty morsels I enjoy! I ultimately settled on an English muffin sandwich with egg, bacon, avo, hollandaise, and cheese(jack I believe). We got there pretty late so I can’t fairly comment on the drink selection(I had water), but my sandwich was absolutely delicious. I’m picky as hell about bacon and it was perfect. None of that thin chain restaurant junk but nice thick perfectly crisped bacon and plenty of it. The flavor of the sauce was totally unexpected but good, I think it had some lime happening, and everything was just nice and fresh and melded together beautifully in my mouth. I managed to win a shirt from them while I was there which was fun but that’s beside the point which is this; the food is fabulous. I suggest you give it a try. I’ll definitely go back for more.

Had lunch on the Fulton Mall today at the Benaddiction truck. I had the Back in Black sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in years. I will be visiting these guys again very soon!

As a frequent Portland visitor, I am not new to the world of food carts/trucks. Comparatively, Benaddiction is a total disaster. Today was a busy Sunday morning at Bella Fruta and boy did it show. We waited for 25 minutes to get two sandwiches. Not only that, but the guys didn’t even know what they had just cooked. We watched them lift the foil off of the plates to check to see what it was and who it was for. We even saw them lift the bread off one sandwich and riffle through it to see what ingredients it had in it. How about you label the sandwiches guys? Get a marker. The second time my husband walked up to see how much longer it was going to take he was told my sandwich wouldn’t be on a croissant as they had run out and refunded us $ 8 for the sandwich. That’s the only reason we are giving Benaddiction 2 stars(the guy handing my husband the cash didn’t remove his gloves, ew). We were just glad we put our order in before they had run out of bacon, we barely made it. By the time we got our food the bread was soggy and each sandwich looked like it had been quickly slapped together. They were nothing to write home about. Too greasy and salty and no where near«gourmet». Definitely disappointing. Are these the regular guys in the kitchen or is this the weekend crew? I can’t imagine if these are the regular guys how this truck could have stayed in business so long. If these guys were hired on the fly to help out, it showed – next time close up shop and don’t do yourselves a disservice.

What can I say about them in one word, Scrumptious!!! Everything on the menu has tons of flavor and comes in a large amount. The French toast is delicious please try it at least once. My two favorites are the grilled cheese and the lights. All the names are silly and unique. The grilled cheese is not like any grilled cheese it comes with a bread that is crusted in cheese and then three different types of cheese for the middle! Wow! I always share this sandwich, because it is so much but still so good. Add avocado makes it that much better. The lights is so fantastic, it has a massive crab cake, avocado, cheese, tomato, and bacon(I usually adiós the bacon), but don’t worry it’s still a large sandwich. The bread is cheese crusted as well. The whole sandwich put together is epic. If you love crab cakes you have to try this at least once. It takes a bit to get your food, but let me tell you it is worth the wait!!!

Our friends’ food looked good but we were unable to try Benaddiction as they ran out of food and closed up early half-way through a 3-hour event. I’ll chalk this up to growing pains for the management and be grateful we had other food options available(others at this event were not so fortunate and I am sure went away disappointed). I don’t think one could blame lack of planning on the event sponsor’s part, as it is a weekly gathering with a pretty steady attendance. Obviously, the restaurant/food service business is not as easy as it looks on the Food Network. I’m willing to give them another try, we will just need to show up earlier next time.

I was really excited to finally taste some Benaddiction, and through a few professional connections of knowing the owners family, I am an enthusiastic supporter. I tried Benaddiction a couple of weeks ago at the CartHop at the Downtown Water Tower location. I tried the basic Clapton sandwich.(Love me some bacon and hollandaise sauce). I love the idea of eggs benedict a la sandwiche! It was presented well, difficult to eat — but hey, that’s the fun of it! But… I just couldn’t get over the amount of grease and salt. The saltiness of the sandwich so overpowered my experience I’m hesitant to try it again. I bit into my companions grilled cheese, and that too was salty(and underwhelming). Last week I tried a friends salad — the chicken was well marinated and had a great flavor. I will definitely try it a few more times before I walk away from it. But some days it’s difficult to summon the courage to deal with that much sodium intake. Benaddiction — please take this well-intended review as constructive criticism! Just lay off the salt and grease a little… I’ll be back!

At first I was excited about this truck, having heard about it on the news. I wasn’t pleased with the«second class» service I received and the comments made by the owner to another more recognizable customer regarding my question about paying with a credit card. The grilled cheese was quite greasy, to the point that it was dripping off onto me as I walked back to my office. I couldn’t handle the hard bread ether. FYI they do accept credit cards, I mean it’s 2013, right?

My first visit was a success… had The Clapton and OMG. So. Freaking. Tasty. The hollandaise sauce was so delicious… savory and salty and full of flavor. The English muffin was toasted perfectly and the bacon was THICK and chewy and packed to the max. Now…the egg. I have never ever been a fan of eggs with runny centers but holy hell this sandwich was perfect for an ewwy gooey runny center. Good job, Benaddiction! Can’t wait for my second visit.

I just tried their food at the CartHop and let me just tell you… It is DELICIOUS!!! We had a tasty treat called The Lights it is crab sandwich with cheese bacon and avocado sooooooo delicious. We also had their sweet potato soup and it was just as delicious. The soup with the sandwich came out to a total of $ 8. Not too shabby right??? Over all I will rate their food a 10⁄10 super tasty, perfect portion size, and reasonable price for the food. Well worth it mates!!! You all need to try their this food truck.
