I went there today and it’s closed for business. I’m very shocked as i just ate there last week ! I also checked the other location and that one has a sign saying it’s closed for business !!

Definitely need to work on their customer service. NOTRECOMMENDEDFORTHOSEWITHSHORTLUNCHBREAKS. I walked in just after noon on a Monday. The sign says please seat yourself. There were no tables clean so I sat down at a dirty one(plates and food still left over). After about 5 minutes no one had acknowledged I was there. I looked around and noticed no other tables had their food yet. Just chips salsa and drinks. I decided to go up and order at the counter TOGO so I could get back to work on time. I ordered an asada salad and a cup of albondigas while I waited. I returned to my still dirty table and after about 20 minutes my soup came out. It was only after my soup came out that my table was cleaned. Another 20 minutes passed and my salad came out. I took it back to my office only to realize they didn’t give me a fork to eat it with!!! Luckily we had some so I was able to eat my decent tasting food at my desk as my lunch hour ended.

Local Mom and Pop place that have been in the local Mexican food restaurant business for many decades. This restaurant is located near the WalMart store on W. Shaw Ave. Look for the ‘guy in the sombrero taking his siesta’ logo on the glass door. I’ve been here twice and must say that their refried beans are not a reliable flavor and texture. I liked the refried beans the first time that I was here. I could not pinpoint what kind of flavor that I was tasting the second time around, but didn’t like it. Their«shredded beef» burrito contains beans and rice so don’t expect it to taste like shredded beef only. The salsa is too peppery tasting and flavor is lacking the greatness of cilantro that I desire in salsa. The salsa was like a pico de gallo wannabee, but just didn’t make it. The chips tasted bland and I kept on thinking about Casa Corona Mexican Restaurant when I ate them. The crunchy shell tacos are good… though on the smaller side. The chile relleno is also on the smaller side. Spanish rice was unremarkable. Tips: If you are in a hurry, call ahead your order. Check your order to make sure it is accurate in description and advertised price. Perhaps I need to try the $ 1.50 fish tacos or the $ 5.25 hamburger and a drink that was advertised on the front window? Maybe that will be better. At this time, I cannot recommend this place due to inconsistencies and also kept on wanting someone else’s cooking.

It is ok, but other Mexican restaurants in NW Fresno have better food,

Service could be better, salsa was pretty rough, not sure why my buddy would order ranch but it came out of a jar rather than homemade. Nothing special

Small family run restaurant with all the classics like tacos, enchiladas, burritos, sopes and more. Reasonably priced lunch specials like two enchiladas, rice, beans and a soda for only $ 6.25. Nice mariachi music coming from the kitchen. Fast, cheap and good! I’ll be back soon…
