Found this place while on a break from the Saroyan Theatre. It is close by the ball park as well. Service was friendly and they offered samples to our children to help with their decision. Food was average. Orange chicken had good flavor and the black bean chicken had a nice blend of flavors, but the overall feeling of the place is old and run down. Food temperature was luke warm sitting at the steam table.

I’ll have to double up on the first review. This place was absolutely disgusting, my boyfriend was in particularly very disappointed by this restaurant. The orange chicken was rubbery and dark, not appetizing whatsoever. Not to mention that the quantity of food paired with the quality of it was very sad for its price, two small plates of poor quality food for 15 $??? yeah, please everyone, just save yourself the trouble and don’t even bother. they had cool paintings though :)

Absolutely disgusting! I have never before written a Unilocal review, but was so appalled by this restaurant I felt compelled to set up on account and hope to save others from this dump. I unfortunately had to stop by this establishment on a greyhound bus trip back to SF from LA as it was one of the only places open within the area. First off they advertised having tofu as a vegetarian option, when we went to order they revealed they did not. In fact they have no vegetarian items besides rice and(chicken?) chow mein. This essentially prevented my girlfriend, who is a vegetarian, from eating. I ordered the orange chicken as it looked the least disgusting of all their items under the heat lamp. Big mistake. The chicken was tough, chewy, and darker than roast beef. How does one turn chicken, a white meat, so brown? It had the flavor and consistency I imagine one would experience eating seasoned dog meat.
