I’m 3rd generation Chinese, live in the neighborhood and wife and I are baby boomers. This area has some very good Chinese restaurants and takeouts. There’s Wah’s Kitchen, Win Wah and China Station. If I were a student again I’d be eating every day at C S. The rice plates and family meals are a real value. I test a Chinese restaurant on the meat ratio and they don’t skimp on the meat and you get a lot of good veggies with your meal. You don’t get a pile of onions and celery to pad your plate, CS is the more spicy of the 3 but depends what your moods are. If I was an apartment dweller or dormy CS is ideal. One plate special can feed 2 gals or a pig.

I got the orange chicken and chicken fried rice and both had a very funny after taste. And I mean really strong after taste. I did request that the orange chicken not have any spice added to it but that still doesn’t explain the after taste, and I ordered normal chicken fried rice. It’s too bad because they are very nice there.

Hole in the wall. This place has really good authentic food. It does not look very appealing but the food is definitely a huge A+. I would go back again anytime I am in Fresno looking for some quick good Chinese food. Tops any panda express because they actually pack your food down. Seriously went home with about a 4 pound to go plate full of food. And the lady in front is so nice. GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE.

Best Chinese food in town, hands down. Their fried rice is to die for and their orange chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Customer service is stellar, they remember you if you’re a repeat customer. Not a ton of seating, so it’s best to get it to go. I won’t go to any other Chinese place in Fresno – there’s no need.

This is not you typical rob you for your $ 8 and serving you crap Chinese food type restaurant situated across the street from a college that takes advantage of dumb college kids with sand paper for taste buds. The food served her is amazing!!! The Mongolian beef is the best in town. All dishes served are packed with so much flavor you will be wondering why you have wasted your money around town for merely decent tasting Chinese food.

I can’t believe this place has gotten 4’s &5’s. The food was not good at all. Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I was only able to stomach a handful of bites before discarding the rest. My wife had the same opinion about her food. On a positive note, the service was really good.

This place is so delicious!!! I had my reservations as I usually do with any Togo Chinese place but was soooo impressed. Everything we had was great especially the hot braised tofu!!! Yumm! Also I don’t usually order orange chicken but it is really good here. Will try the soups and chicken salad next time

Some of the best Chinese food you can find. The staff is very friendly and will remember if you are a repeat customer. All the food is great but, ***You can never go wrong with the Orange Chicken*** All the ingredients seem to be very fresh and the portion sizes are good for the price.

The best customer service in town! The owners are always very friendly and nice. Other company’s should take note. Prices are great and the food is very good too. But the customer service is what sets this place apart.

I love this place! It’s looks a little run down but don’t let that fool you. They have amazing service and amazing food. I always get their teriyaki chicken and broccoli and boy does it fill you up! The best part about it is you get a whole lot of food for a reasonable price, which anyone can say they enjoy haha. I have and always will enjoy China Station :)

This has been one of my favorite places to eat when I was going to fresno state. My favorite item on the menu is their special fried rice! I never can eat the whole thing in one sitting. Haven’t really tried any thing else on he menu… That special fried rice is awesome!

This place was terrible. I should have learned Mandarin before ordering because they got my order all wrong over the phone. I had to wait for them to get it right and then the food was awful. Chewy under cooked chow mein noodles. Over salty Spicy San Yan that wasn’t remotely spicy. Rubbery overcooked shrimp and fatty beef. Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. One of the fortune cookies was burned too and the grammar was laughable«You have are master of social situation.» I would rather go to Panda Express than ever go back to China Station.

This place is located right by bulldog stadium. Seems to be a family owned restaurant with really friendly and fast service. The food is pretty good and it’s reasonably priced. It’s a fast dining style place so I wouldn’t recommend taking a date there or anything. But if you’re looking for some good food on the go, the China Station is the perfect place!

I’m a student at Fresno State and I decided to try China Station a couple weeks ago for lunch because I was tired of the same old stuff and it was close by. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted with smiles by the people who work there and asked how I was doing, as if they’d known me for years. That’s the absolute best part of this place: the people who work there. They are so incredibly friendly and even if I didn’t care too much for the food, that would keep me coming back. However, so far, everything I’ve ordered off their very large and extensive menu– and it IS very large with something for everyone, and several vegetarian options to boot– has been great! I’ve tried the teriyaki chicken rice plate, the orange chicken bowl, and today I got the sweet and sour chicken combo. Everything is fresh and made to order, and the best part– none of it has been greasy in the least. China Station is cheap, fast, and the friendliness of the staff is second to none. It’s great food for a great price and you’ll leave with a smile on your face because the staff’s kindness is contagious. FYI: I recommend the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the garlic chicken.

The food wasn’t good. Their orange chicken sucks big time its like an orange jam mixed with chicken and then deep fried. If your looking for Chinese food then don’t go here.

Hit and miss. It lacks consistency but the flavors are ok. I used to eat here when I lived near by. Their prices are fair for the large quantities they serve. If you’re in the area stop by and check it out. $ 6 will go long way

It was my first time trying this place. My husband gets off late and for late night quality, it was just ok. The orange chicken was kinda mushy but had good flavor and the chow mein was dry. I’d try this place again at a better time and review again. It’s not fair to judge a place on late night quality; everyone wants to go home and things are shut off and put away. So I’ll try it again.
