Destination Maternity

I love the attentiveness of there staff. As a manager myself at restaurant I understand the importance of good hospitality and they definitely make sure you feel welcomed! When I was pregnant with my daughter I came in here and they made sure that I had everything I needed and understood my concerns off the get go. Love how they offer you juice or water as you are shopping and make you feel right at home!

The store was very welcoming and accommodating and I love that they had drinks to offer while you shop. My sales associate, Teena, was so friendly and helpful. They even put football on for my brother while he was waiting! This store is great no matter your price range, would definitely shop there again.

I really love this store. They have everything from target prices to some high end. They have a clearance section too that’s worth taking a look and various promotions. They are very friendly and helpful and offer water and juice when I go in there. There’s a play area for kids and a couch for your hubby. I always come back here for the service and I will typically get free things like coupons or things to try.

Experience when shopping here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I am always greeted with a smiling face and offered a bottle of water or juice. There price in costs ranges from 20.00 to 200.00 depending on the label and maker and they have tons of other merchandise as well for new mommies and newborns. I love that inside they also have a small play area for the kids that will keep your little one amused while you take a break and shop some. Great store!

I had a really good experience at this store. I went in on my lunch to get a belly band. I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed help, I told her what I was looking for. She took me to that section, and there were two bands that really fit what I was needing. So she took found what she thought my size would be (and she was correct) and unpackaged it, and helped me try it on right there. The first one was a bit bulky, but MAN did it feel great. So we tried the less bulky one, and it felt pretty good too and didn’t show through my clothes. So I said wrap it up! She said if I wanted to wear it now I am more than welcome. So I went into the changing room and put it on. She asked if I was looking for anything else and gave me the rundown of the specials. I said I was only here on my lunch, and she asked if I wanted juice or water. How great is that? So we rang up my item, and signed me up and I got a GREAT goody bag. Tons of coupons and a free Philips Avent Natural baby bottle. It really was a great experience. Their clothes are a little pricy, but they have good sales and their service is wonderful.

Destination Maternity is the same store as Motherhood Maternity, fyi. I had gone to the Visalia location (MM) & they didnt really have anything in my size, so i came here one weekend. They do have designer stuff that’s way out of my price range (even on clearance jeans were $ 99.99) but they also have mid range priced clothing too for us normal folk (jeans for $ 29.99 on the clearance rack). I came in specifically for under garments since I feel like the hulk now growing out of everything but my socks pretty much. The ladies who helped me were great (I requested a bra fitting as well).
I ended up coming back (i originally wrote this while pregnant; i’m just finishing up the review 3 months post partum) two more times. i received another bra fitting and this time, i think it was incorrect. oh well. it happens. Overall though, the store is expensive but you can catch some deals here and there. If i were to get pregnant again, i would definitely come back.

I’m going to explain some of the cons. So not only do they have belly cream in the dressing room to supposedly help you avoid stretch marks, but when I was paying at the register, the employee tried to sell me belly cream. I explained that it’s genetic and cream doesn’t do anything, and she just gave me this patronizing look and said «Is this your first?» Yes, it is, and at 7 months no stretch marks! But it’s all genetic.
Then, she asks me if I want to sign up to receive coupons, etc. and I say no, and she looks all shocked. Later, I find out that if you give them your info, they will bombard you with junk mail and if you say you’re planning to breast feed, formula companies will send you free formula, which to me is super unethical. Anyway, she then told me that if I want to return any items, I would HAVE to share my personal info because it’s company policy. That is ridiculous.
Find a second hand store elsewhere, or go to Ross if it’s summertime and stock up on cheap roomy sun dresses.

I finally decided to give in and purchase maternity pants for work today. The girl who helped me was really great, I believe her name was Cassandra. Anywho, her service was amazing. As soon as we walked in, she asked us if we were thirsty and offered us juice and water. Immediately after she asked what I was looking for today and showed me where I’d be able to find work pants/​slacks. She brought me what I asked for really quickly and I loved every pair of pants I tried.
The store itself is well organized. They have clothing thay ranges from an average price to higher prices. The fact that they have a play place for kids and a lounge like area for hubbies was really convenient also. All in all, I was very satisfied with my first visit here and look forward to coming back for more clothes as my belly starts to grow. :)

I was hesitant to visit this store after reading some of the reviews online, so I had done most of my shopping online until now. I knew I would have to go sooner or later, and seeing as a I needed a pair of jeans and stockings and was in town I stopped by. The staff was very friendly, helped me find what I needed right away, and even made a few suggestions. They set up a fitting room for me, offered me something to drink, and even gave me a little goodie bag with product samples for new moms/​clients.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the previous reviewers shopped here when there was staffing or management issues. I’m so glad I came here because now I can make purchases without worrying about whether they will fit or not and at reasonable prices. ($ 25 for a pair of maternity jeans on sale and $ 7 for pregnancy stockings).

Ive been to this store many many times… Usually Jennifer their «General Manager» helps me I use to think she was so friendly but when I walked in today she avoided me which was ok… I had a pile of clothes in my arms with employees walking past me including the manager without asking if they c could start a room for me… They didnt put extra pieces in my room to try on until after I got a room… one gal brought the clothes and handed them to me while i was trying clothes on already! I wasnt offered anything to drink… nor was my husband which was a suprised I guess they figured I have everything in the store already since when i shop there I buy a whole lot! When the cashier asked who helped me I couldnt even give her a name… I wasnt greeted and when I went into the fitting room she didnt offer to help me get another size if needed. I wanted to confirm that Jennifer is in fact the manager. I can understand a rude employee but a rude unfriendly manager just didnt seem right.
